If I could give zero stars, I would...in a heartbeat. I had, by far, the worst experience Ive ever had with any interaction ever. When I say worst, I mean worse than any Comcast service call Ive ever had. For those of you who know Comcast is, you can stop reading the now as you already know how bad it must have been. The only good thing about my experience was the actual car itself, barely. The staff here at Volvo of Nashville is awful and they should all either quit or be fired. I honestly have no idea how the owner stays in business besides overcharging for all his inventory. No wonder theyre short staffed...no one in their right mind would stay to work with these crooked thieves and liars. Im not the person that complains about customer service. I wont even send my food back if they mess up the order. The experience was so bad that I need to write a review. After test driving the car we were interested in, I made an appointment for my wife to test drive also. Our "salesman" showed up late and after a few minutes, finally suggested we come out of the cold and wait inside. In negotiating, I simply wanted to drive the car off the lot safe and comfortable. To us, meaning replace the black cabin air filter (should be done anyways), have a full tank of gas (car was to be sold completely empty), air up tires (dash light suggested so), and fill the engine coolant to a drive-able level (not below the "Low" indicator (performed every routine oil change). Keep in mind these four very small requests were in conjunction with PAYING THE FULL ASKING PRICE of the dealer. After discussing the option of trading in our current car (a Volvo, dont ever buy), they said they can give us $400. I was not happy with the offer because I can sell it to a junkyard or recycling business for the same, if not more (verified). While the "salesman" kept going back and forth between the owner and us, I asked her probably three times "Does the owner know that the "processing fee" is included in the sale of his vehicles?" (Directly from the website listed on every vehicle for sale, see picture). Once "finance" is done with our paperwork, she immediately asked us to sign without going over a single thing. Slow your horses down. Id like to look at what Im agreeing to. Needless to say, they raised the price of the vehicle, "gave us more for our trade," (which means they can tax us more). They added the $498 processing fee. When I asked the "salesman" why the fee was there, she had no answer and had to call another salesman (the owners son) to explain to me, "that specific processing fee isnt for the car Im purchasing, but for the car Im trading in." Are you ******* kidding me? No dealer anywhere charges you a "processing fee" for a trade-in. What paperwork do you have to process on a car Im selling to you!? You want to give me $400 for my car then charge me $498 to "process it"? You have lost your mind. They told me that "I cant pay attention to what their website says, its just how we do business." I was speechless at that point. Needless to say, I said that I no longer want to trade my car in and I would just like to purchase the car, outright so that it will be cheaper for me and I can sell my car on my own. I repeated asked my "salesman" to go ask the owner if he would redo the paperwork without my trade-in. Without even making an attempt to call, walk upstairs, or even talk to the owner, she proceeded to tell me "He just wont do that." Excuse me but youre telling me that I cannot purchase your car for sticker price from your dealership??? That sounds crazy. She then told me "It would be too inconvenient to redo the paperwork without the trade-in." I couldnt keep my composure anymore and with the process of buying a car 98% done, my wife and I walked off the lot extremely displeased this is how this business operated. Guys, I cannot make this up, this literally happened. I will NEVER buy from Volvo of Nashville and I will tell everyone I know to NEVER buy from there either.

Run Away!!! if you find yourself at Volvo of Nashville. Too bad you cant give 0 stars. This "luxury" car dealership is dirty and dated. Furniture is threadbare and advertising on the walls is up to 8-years-old. The incompetence of the sales staff and service department is off the charts. In looking to purchase a used car I was quoted 3 different prices by 2 different salesmen. The sticker on the car was $2500 over NADA retail and this was for a car in average condition. Needless to say I kept looking and bought the same year and model of car in excellent condition elsewhere for $5500 less than the Volvo of Nashville Sticker and 2000 under the "Offered Deal". When the Sales Manager leads off with "I just want to do the best for you and your family" it makes you want to run away, immediately. Today I went in for service to cut keys. I provided the uncut slugs. My Bill ... $187.90 to cut and program the keys. Mind you just two keys. No remotes. They charged me $120 in labor; $42.25 for parts (software and battery) and get this $9.74 for environmental disposal!!! REALLY what oil do you have to dispose of when you cut a key? I thought a high dealer price for cutting two keys would be just under $100. In this Volvo of Nashville exceeded my expectations in taking ripping off your customers to a new level. Anyone using them for service is doing their finances a grave injustice. I normally use Snider Automotive in Madison, TN for my repairs and Burt (Volvo Master Tech) and John have never failed to treat me properly. My advice is run dont walk away from Volvo of Nashville. If I am required to do anything at a dealer again I will be driving past this location for a more reputable dealer. WHY HAS VOLVO NOT PULLED THEIR CONTRACT WITH THIS DEALERSHIP? Just walking in the door should throw off red flags to the new Volvo owners.

Im sitting in the Volvo of Nashville parking lot. I just spoke to the owner of the dealership, because I insisted upon speaking with him, after no one else would give me a straight answer about a coupon they sent out for auto service. First, I was told the owner was "in a meeting," a common "little white lie," which everyone knows is code for, "I dont want to deal with you or your issue." When I said I would wait, and parked myself outside his little office door, after a few minutes, the owner appeared. When I confronted him about the coupon, he denied it was his dealerships coupon, cursed at me multiple times, and told me, "Im busy with other things, and youre being unreasonable," and, as he crawled back into his shabby little office, he added, "Maybe youll understand that one day when you grow up." I am 33 years old, a respected business attorney with my own firm, not an intemperate child. I was smiling and friendly the entire time, but this man had only bluster and vitriol to offer, where one might have hoped for friendly customer service. Even if I was mistaken, even if he was busy, the right thing to do would have been to politely and calmly decline to honor the coupon. The anger, disregard, condescension, and profanity this business owner unleashed was completely unwarranted and unexpected. I will never, ever do business with Volvo of Nashville again; and, for years, I have spent hundreds of dollars per year with them on auto service. I certainly would never buy a car at Volvo of Nashville, and God help you if you do, because, when you do business with people such as these, you are dealing with fiends.
