I was in Franklin for a conference, 2 hours away from home when what I suspected was an alternator problem. Now I have AAA which has its perks too in that they brought me a battery in a Kroger parking lot that helped me get to my hotel and then to Heaven Sent, but the battery wasnt the problem. At 7:30 in the morning I called Heaven Sent and explained the problem. They said to bring it on over and they would diagnose the problem and let me make a decision from there, fix it or tow it home. The diagnosis was made in about 20 minutes -- yep, alternator. They were able to give me a close ballpark estimate barring anything weird that occurred in the process of fixing it. (I have a 20 year old car. Stuff happens to 20-year old cars.) They said it would only take 3-4 hours. Perfect! I walked over to the IHOP and the Kroger to pass the time came back and they were done -- 2 1/2 hours early! When the mechanics found out that I was traveling, they doubled up on mine and the other guys picked up the other jobs so I could get back on the road. I had already made plans to get a cab to an from my conference hotel (about $40 total). So since I didnt need to do that I spent the cab money on lunch for this Rock Star team. Super polite. Efficient/Effective staff. Quick. Sensitive to unusual situations. Very reasonable prices. My car is running like a dream and my dashboard is no longer lighting up like a Christmas tree. If you EVER need vehicle service anywhere in the neighborhood of Franklin, TN. This is the ONLY facility you should consider. On this particular Friday, they were truly Heaven Sent! My wife and I have lived in the middle Tennessee area for over a decade. And weve always had issues finding a car mechanic we can trust. So when a friend recommended Heaven Sent Automotive to us a couple of years ago, it was like a breath of fresh air. Jody and his entire team are incredible. They are honest and trustworthy in an industry that historically has gotten a bad reputation. And the work they do is every bit as good (if not better) than the dealer....and at a fraction of the cost! Because of their expertise and knowledge, my wifes 1999 Honda Civic is running perfectly to this day. And this week, when I started having brake issues on my Nissan Sentra, I took it in right away, where they examined it within 30 minutes and personally walked me through the needed repairs and costs so that Id know what to expect. So, needless to say we are big fans of all the folks at Heaven Sent Automotive. They do excellent work, and are just all around great people. Id highly recommend them.

Rezurgence

I came in their with a starter problem which i thank them for fixing. The car Smells like someone smoked in it with the windows closed, and my car is a non smoking car. I have never had my car smell this bad of smoke in my life. If you guys are going to smoke a at least dont stink up other peoples cars that is just so disrespectful. Today in the morning i turned on my car and its making a howling noise..... which it never made before. Fixing a starter should not have caused any other problems to the vehicle..... I also took a look at my anti freeze and its below minimum. If they took out a hose that leaked out antifreeze, why not replace it after you are done fixing the vehicle...... the fix was really expensive but i feel like it was done so carelessly. Aside from it getting fix, with all these other problems i will not be coming back here and will recommend friends and family not to come here as well.

Heaven Sent did fantastic work on two of my vehicles. Only reason I didnt give a full 5 stars is that I called today to schedule an appointment to get the oil changed on my truck. Asked if they carried a couple of different lines of higher end oil and if she could give me a quote. Provided my model of vehicle and engine size. By my second question I could tell she was annoyed. She audibly huffed and said "we just like carry regular oil, you know?" I said "you sound very annoyed by my question, I think Ill go somewhere else..." and her followup was "Ok... Bye" They do fantastic work at a reasonable price but could definitely do without the snarky customer service.

Jody Downe, Sydney and the staff do such a great job of pricing, servicing and caring for our vehicles and our familys safety!! They are really affordable, consultative and kind. They inspect your vehicle and give you a schedule of work to be done over the next year at a price that is budget friendly and extremely fair. No pressure to do it all at one time! What a blessing to work with someone who believes in doing it the right way! I would highly recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a local partner to care for their family vehicles!! This is the most honest and reliable auto shop that I have ever been to. I have only been here three times, but Sidney and the whole team feel like family. My bill today was $100 less than I planned on based on the original estimate weeks ago and they even gave me a discount for my FB review. They finished exactly on time and every thing is perfect. I asked what I needed next and they said nothing for 10,000 more miles. If I could only use one word to review Heaven Sent it would be HONEST.

Mid TN people, this is where you want to go for oil changes and repairs. $29 (including tax) for an oil change. Very nice people as well. Very honest. Best prices I could find for new tires as well. - Anywhere else I have ever taken my car, Ive dreaded the call with the amount that would be do. Im at total ease when leaving my car with Heaven Sent Automotive. I know I will get what I need at a fair price. I will never take my car anywhere else.

First visit. I found the store through the Costco auto program (you get 15% off) and yelp reviews. Went for alignment service. Wait time was reasonable, the car drives noticeably better after alignment and they gave an exact analysis of the angles. They gave an honest opinion about the general condition from the courtesy check, and checked particular details without any extra charge.
