Ive taken all of our cars here for years but their service seems to have fallen off of a cliff this year. I had a bunch of routine maintenance done on my wifes car. I took it out a few days later to pick up breakfast, and realized that the power steering was going out, then the pulley fell off while I was in the drive through and it was impossible to steer. They hadnt tightened the pulley. I had it towed to their shop which was on Sunday morning. They called Monday and said that they would have to order new parts and that theyd be in on Tuesday. No apology for being without the car for three days when it was their mistake. Luckily it broke down in a good place and I was driving and not my wife. And to top it off, they had charged $40 to change the cabin air filter. That was labor only! Thats dealer pricing. And to top all this off, I found out today that when they changed the transmission fluid in my car earlier this year, they overfilled it by a quart. Yep, Im done with Christian Brothers.

Ive used Christian brothers three times now. Ive never had any problems with my vehicles after taking them to Christian Brothers. However, their pricing is not in line with the market. I was quoted nearly $900 for brakes recently - I took the same vehicle to another shop in town, they said I didnt need what CB recommended. Got out for $250, and the symptoms I was having with my brakes have gone away. I was quoted $1400 for a timing belt & water pump. Called around town - found a place that will do it for $950 AND pay for a rental for the day. They also seem to be getting too busy for their own good. I received a phone call that said my car was finished on my last visit - when I arrived, it was not. I believe they are a well-intentioned shop that tries to do the right thing. However, I simply am not willing to pay 30-50% more for the same work as other local shops. I dont have an extra $1000+ to spend simply to do business with a Christian organization. Shop around, folks!

So, I take my car to Christian Brothers Automotive to get fixed where I can pass my emissions test. I brought the paper from the Emissions that said I need a "Knock Sensor 1" replaced. They said that they have to run a mandatory diagnostics on my car that will take an hours labor to perform. They call me 20 minutes after being open and tell me exactly what I told them... that I need my "Knock Sensor 1" replaced... and for that bit of cherished information it will be 80$... and to fix this knock sensor... parts and labor it will be $350 + tax + the 80$ to tell me what I already knew! Thankfully, I called CarMax and they are going to take my diagnostics again for free and do the whole job for $150. Do your research before you sign on the dotted line with Christian Brothers Automotive because they think they can charge an arm and a leg just because they are in Cool Springs.

My experience with Christian Bros was extremely dissatisfying. I had asked the estimator what my total cost was going to be and he responded with $455 TOTAL!!!. When I arrived to pick up the car and pay the bill, the price was $555. They also tried to sell me on fixing an oil leak for $500, that when I asked about this problem, it turned out that it wasnt leaking yet and that the guy predicted that it would start leaking soon!!!!!!!!! Puzzling! Rip off! Also, they wanted to charge me $323 for an air intake hose($23 part with minimal labor - I looked it up later online). Come on!!! Will not be taking my cars there in the future! I recommend doing your homework and shopping around before taking it to Christian Brothers.

A year ago my adult son got a nail in his tire. Brentwood shop fixed quickly as we waited and charged him zero. Asked us to remember them for future needs. Fast forward to present and my 12 year old high mileage SUV skipping a beat. By the afternoon Id gotten phone call explaining problem with most basic repair as well as more extensive options. No high pressure sales, just options and honest recommendation that matched my needs and cars age. Not inexpensive but no more than comparable auto shops. Work completed by next day. To top it off, they gave me a coupon for future towing reimbursement. Will definitely be a customer of Brentwood CB from now on. Little touches can make such a difference on top of hood service.

I had great experiences with Christian Brothers, both times I have gone. I took a vehicle for a prepurchase inspection. I paid about $100 for this and it gave me peace of mind knowing a mechanic had looked over it. I later took the same vehicle for a tire rotation and oil change. I paid $66 for these services. I went on a weekday at 7:30am and they had it finished in about 45 minutes. They also offer to shuttle you to work if you cant stay to wait for the services to be done. Everyone here was super friendly and great to work with. Im not sure how their prices compare with others in the area but their service is worth paying for. Will definitely continue to use them in the future.

Was having problems with a rear brake getting very hot on my 2006 f350 pickup. I thought that it was my parking brake hanging up. Made the appointment, dropped my truck and they gave me a ride to the house. An hour later they told me what the problem was, I came back to the shop and spoke with the mechanic doing the work. He had actually removed both rear rotors and checked both side of the parking brake and tested the right rear caliper, which was bad. They completed the work that I approved and picked me up in their courtesy car. Ive had work done previously at this shop and they have always been very fair as to cost. The staff is always very courteous and helpful.

This is an outstanding company. I almost cried of happiness when I got my car back today. After I had taken my car to 3 different places for a noise that no one could figure out, Christan Brothers took my car in for a diagnosis and even though it took an extra day, they made sure to figure out where the noise was coming from. I got it back today with no noise and they didnt even charge me for all of the extra time and effort they did. I am forever greatful for this company.

I am so pleased with the service that I have received at Christian Brothers Automotive. While another local automotive shop left me waiting over two weeks for a part and to have my vehicle fixed, Matthew at Christian Brothers had the part ordered and in house within a day! Their willingness to run me to and from work while they worked on my vehicle was so kind, and truly above and beyond in my book. I have turned to them on several occasions and Ive never been disappointed!
