Recently visited Kingsport Tire and Auto Care on Stone Drive. I was having what felt like a suspension issue, periodic violent vibration when driving on straightaways. I told then I had recently rebuilt the front end suspension (within 3 months), and I asked them to check connection, integrity of the parts, ect. I also mentioned that a brake caliper sometimes gave me issues when changing pads, so I asked them to check that too. Before they ever got the car on a lift, it was almost as if they had made up their minds. Told me the lower control arm bushings were "shot". They asked me what brand parts I had bought. Fair enough, they were not OEM. About 15 minutes later after lifting and inspecting, they came back with a $700+ quote to redo the lower control arm bushings. I asked if the brake caliper showed anything, to which they said "no abnormal wear". A week later (after not driving it for a week), I took the car to a place where I could look at it myself, and the first thing I noticed was horrendous abnormal brake wear on the same brake caliper that I had asked them to inspect. After replacing the caliper and doing nothing at all to the suspension, I have have had no issues since. $700 dollars well-kept.

I receive excellent service every time I go there so I have recommended them to several people. They always go out of their way (literally above and beyond) to make sure that Im taken care of that day. This past time I went in right before Christmas to get air put in my tires. The service man immediately identified a tire that was losing air. They took care of it even though they were quite busy because the manager said he wouldnt feel comfortable with me driving on it. I had previously gotten the tires he recommended which really paid off because it cost NOTHING to have it repaired-they were still under warranty which was something they kept track of for me. I would absolutely recommend taking his advice as it saved me quite a bit of hassle and worry. If anyone is looking for an honest, reputable place to take their car, this is it!

I created a Google account just to warn people to stay away from these guys. Ill make this brief. I had to make appt to get oil changed. I arrived early. I waited for 45 min before they even started. Took 45 more mins to change oil & fliter. Asked mechanic if everything was ok with car. Said all levels were correct and had "normal" leaks under car. Odd. I told him I checked oil level b4 I got there and it was qt low. He responded that he forgot to mention that. Their idea of checking the wipers is to turn them on. In so doing they scratched my windshield in my line of sight. Mgr didnt apologize for my 2 hr wait to get oil changed. Checked oil level when I go thome. They over filled it. Looked underneath car. NO leaks anywhere. I wont be back.

Where do i start omg!! Horrible tire dealer..got my oil changed in my 05 f150..while was there they noticed i needed front brake pads..so went ahead amd got them done.went out to smoke a cigarette just in time to see amd hear them dry start my truck without any oil in it!!!!!!!!!!worst part is they didnt say anything at all untill i asked what happened while at cash register!!!! Now the truck has horrible engine tick at all temperatures

If you are seeing a review that is more than a year old, take note; they ran off the old techs and cannot keep any good help. The ASE master techs that provided long term care that we had used for years are gone. Our fleet used them in the past but not any more.
