This Is definitely the worst post office I have ever had to deal with. They consistently deliver my mail to my neighbors, and my neighbors mail to me. Aside from that the carriers are extremely lazy. A prime example is with regards to certified letters that require a signature. The carrier is supposed to try and hand deliver it (by knocking on my door) three times. If they cannot obtain a signature by the third attempt, they are then to leave a little card that says "Sorry we missed you on these dates x, x, & x. Please pick up your letter at the post office" The thing is the carrier never attempts to obtain the signature, he just hangs onto the (very important) letter for a few extra days and then leaves his little card. Do your job people! Is it any wonder the Post Office is in such dire straights financially? With a brain-trust like the Madison location at the helm, the ship is sinking like the Titanic.

I have been told by an employee to take my international packages somewhere else. So I go to Hendersonville or Downtown Nashvilles Union Station location when I have International packages. They need to post that on the door for sure. They have been very clear with me NOT to bring International Packages to the Madison TN Old Hickory Blvd location. The Post Office wonders why theyre not making any money. Im not even told Standard Posts rate sometimes at the Madison TN Location. Impushed into Priority at this location, where as in Hendersonville or Downtown Nashville Im told all the rates even if they are the same.

Please... if the box is too small to fit into the mailbox, dont force it in. Three times I have checked mail to find a smallish box shoved into the mailbox. However, the box should really be left on the side porch like most over sized boxes. Of course this means getting up out of your seat and actually walking to the house. Not counting on that! These boxes are forced in, leaving me to use force to get it out. It took me five minutes last time before I was able to dislodge the box from my mailbox. Hung up on me. Refuse to answer the phone now. I am trying to determine the location of a package.

Every time I mail something (which is a lot), Byron has been working. He is absolutely amazing with the customers, helps them, speaks to them with respect, helps them find the best option for their shipping needs. I cannot say this about the other employees. Lisa and every other female I have encountered at this location are rude, demanding, disrespectful, and worse. I cannot describe how bad I want to wait longer in line to work with Byron at the counter...

Horrible! The person that answered the phone actually told me that the custodian may have answered the phone and discussed my package options with me. This office has no structure, accountability or professionalism. They seemed to think it was funny that they allow the custodian to answer their phones when no one else is in the office. With service like this, it is not surprising that the USPS is slowly going out of business.

The worst!! The regular post woman is awesome but she was promoted. Often, however there are substitutes who dont attempt to deliver packages. They just leave a slip. ( Even when we are home and the door is open) .. Or , they dont attempt to deliver but an email notification from the sender will state that an attempt had been made. Clearly these are attempts to misrepresent delivery stats. So frustrating.. No accountability!

Thanks for delivering my mail, but do you think you could close the freaking mailbox? I live on a busy street corner and almost every day when I come home I see my mailbox wide open, just waiting for anyone to reach in and grab it. Not to mention Ive had several important pieces of mail get completely soaked from rain. Its not that hard to close a door all the way.

Paid for shipping online, scheduled a pickup via usps website and notified my customers of shipment date. Received the automatically generated email confirming pickup scheduling. I came home and realized my packages sat all weekend on my porch as I was out of town. Had to reschedule for another date. Late shipment and had to refund partial payment to my customers.

They kept putting the wrong persons mail that lived 3 houses down in my mailbox. When I informed them of the error, they held all the my mail for 2 weeks. I had to call the Main Headquarters to get my mail. Awful service

I drop my businesss packages off here every day, and each day there is an issue. The employees here refuse to scan my packages in, are constantly rude, and there are frequent long wait times.

No problem getting me my junk mail, but when I am actually waiting for an item I ordered they have no idea. No wonder the postal service has lost 3 billion dollars of revenue.
