Took my vehicle 2006 Ford Escape(120,000 miles) in for repair P0191 check engine light code. Fuel rail sensor failure. These idiots replace my fuel pump almost $1000.00. they stated that the pump was not pumping at the correct pressure. So I questioned them did we checked everything. I get the car back same issue. But now I have 3 codes. 3 freaking codes. I do not have any experience with this shop for any other repairs and I used them because they were highly recommended by friends as well as some auto parts facilities. Why wouldnt an auto parts store push their biggest customer(if you get my drift) Fortunately I will not be finding out if they are "good" at anything else I would highly recommend if you have a check engine light on take it to the dealer. they know how to do the diagnostics. as well as fix it right My failure was to ask how did they use the DD diagnostics procedure that ford put out.

We love this place! They have worked on all three of our cars and they have never charged more than they said they would, actually many times the final price has come below what their estimate. Two times now we have had work done and quotes from a place down the street in Murphy TX and the work was sub-par and turns out way over priced. They made us feel like we had to get it done and done their way. Allen Automotive Repair has always told us what needs to be done and what is optional or can wait. The "other place" quoted me $1560 to fix my A/C...one they totally rebuilt not more than 3 years later for about the same price. Allen Automotive Repair diagnosed the problem in 20 minutes, just needed a new compressor clutch for $300 total...total! Because of their honesty and customer service, we get more things done their that we might otherwise perpetually defer. Highly recommend Allen Automotive Repair.

I had a good experience with these guys. I have a 23 year old jeep, and saw a mechanic elsewhere (A national chain) who told me my clutch was going and I needed to replace it. Made sense I could barely get it in gear with my clutch to the floor. I asked a friend about a mechanic who drives for uber and he said he liked Allen Auto. So I made an appointment telling them I needed a new clutch. Long story short, they called me to tell me I had a bad seal around the reservoir for the clutch fluid. They were able to fix and it was much less expensive than I had planned as my clutch was fine. Even with them needing to get a part for my old jeep, (Not as easy as it sounds because of its age) I was picking my car up that afternoon. Im going to try them again soon.

I have been taking all my vehicles to Allen Automotive for over 10 years. They have been very reasonable on their part and labor charges, and will often go the extra mile to find a cheaper option for me. In all these years, they have NEVER tried to up-sell me on anything, for which I am very grateful. A few times I have first received quotations from a dealer or another car repair shop, sent the quote to Allen Auto and they were able to do the work at a fraction of the cost. If youre looking for a shop that you can trust, look no further. But be warned, because they are honest and do good work they are in high demand. You will likely have to make an appointment up to a week in advance.

We were very happy and surprised when we learned that our truck was fixed so quickly and cheaper than we had expected! They do repairs by appt.-they are super busy-but ours was kindof an emergency so we left it on the weekend (they are closed weekends) w/o an appt. It was fixed that Monday anyway and so much cheaper than we thought/was quoted before. My husband had started to do it and they apparently only charged for the acutal time/actual work it took to finish it. How honest is that? I will be recommending them to everyone. Feels so good to have a place like this to depend on and know you will get good honest service. Thanks!

Honesty and integrity is their hallmark! Went to a local Honda dealership just north of Allen that will go unnamed, to have a recall done. They did the typical safety check and came back and said my brakes in the front were critical and the rears were nearly as bad. I have my work done at Allen Automotive and scheduled an appointment. They called and said my brakes were at 40% in the front and 60% in the rear. No need for a brake job!! They could have replaced them and I never would have known the difference. Their honesty and integrity along with their great work is why I recommend them.

Took my 2000 F250 crew cab to have new brakes, front and back. They called after looking at the brakes and reported that the rear brakes still had 40% left and did not need to be done. Who does that anymore? I had already planned for front and rear brakes changed. They could have just replaced the rear brakes and collected the money. The front rotors had to be replaced, which I was sure would be needed but even then, the total bill was very reasonable. I will take all my auto work to these folks from now on. They are very busy so plan on having to make an appointment.

Caused major damage to my vehicle and then refused to pay for it I am currently getting my things in order for legal action I was laughed at cursed at and yelled at and called a crook all too my face and im sure much worse was said when I left surrounded by multiple hostile mechanics and was told to leave or they would call the police. I would post the pictures of the damage and video of them cussing at me but it wont let me but if you care about your car at all never take your car here.

Buyer Beware! Allen Automotive caused damage to our car due to an improper repair done at their facility. They refused to reimburse us the money we were out of pocket in order to get our car fixed due to their shoddy work. We had to take them to small claims court in order to get reimbursed. Allen Automotive has terrible customer service in a situation like this. They are a very unprofessional group of people. We will not bring any of our cars there in the future.

Honest auto repair place. I needed to get some work done on my car and didnt know of a good place in Allen. So I looked up Google. This place had by far the best reviews so I went with them. The final bill was significantly lower than what they quoted over the phone. That by itself says a lot about them. And it was a job well done. The mechanic who did the job even gave me an overview of what he did. Great work guys. You just earned another customer.

Honest people. Left my truck there to have an oil leak repaired. Told them I would be in Miami for the weekend and to just fix it with no call to me. A day later they called to let me know they found the leak but it would take about 14 hours of labor. They had also called Dogde on my behalf to find out that the repair would be covered under warranty. They could have screwed me out of a lot of money.
