I cannot recommend this place. I had my car towed there because the tow truck driver recommended them and they were nearby where i lived. They also had good reviews here (questionable who wrote them now). I already knew what was wrong with my car and knew it was an easy fix, i just didnt want to deal with it. The serpentine belt tensioner needed to be replaced. I even called autozone to find out how much the part was, $70. I called them before we arrived to find out how much it would be to fix and they said they needed to inspect it. After the tow truck driver and the manager had a private conversation one of their mechanics had a look. They come back and say it will be $450. Apparently they needed to remove some part to replace the part that was broke. The part would be around $120 and the rest was labor to remove various parts to actually get at my part. No thanks. After I explained that my car was not worth it to me for that fixing cost one of their mechanics offered me $200 for my car which I did not accept. They were gracious enough to let me keep the car there that day so I could push it back. On the weekend I went to autozone and bought the part and fixed the car in about an hour. It was a simple fix. There were even directions that came with the part. It didnt say anything about removing the power steering pump as they claimed needed to be done. Removed wheel, removed splash shield, removed 2 bolts, replace (like in the directions). Done. Find some place else.

I was new to Plano and searched for a place for inspection and regular service. Chose this place as it was close to my house and had a pretty good rating on the web. However , I was very disppointed with the whole process, and the front desk staff. He was not friendly and actually in a very mean attitude. When I called for appointment , asked for timing, and checked for the progress, he always answered in a hurry , and quickly hang up the phone . At the checkout , he was not patient at all and looks like just hope me to get out of there quick or what . Maybe this place had too much business so does not care about customer anymore, If that is ture, OK, this is my first and last time stop by.

I usually never write reviews, but this is the best car service Ive ever gotten. They are straightforward, quick, and most importantly honest. My car battery died in the early morning and they did all the tests while I was there. It was probably no more than 15 minutes (it was also not busy yet). Rick was really patient and kind and told me everything I had questions about and they even cleaned up my battery. I even got more accurate and reasonable info about my car than I did from my own dealership. The price is also unbeatable. I now feel like my dealership and other local auto shops are grade A rip-offs. These guys have earned my business. Enthusiastically recommended!

Car Care Central has helped me solve a variety of major repair and maintenance problems on my older model Honda Accord. Things like check engine alerts for catalytic converter, EGR, others, also timing belt and coolant system work. In all instances, theyve done everything possible to insure that the problem is effectively diagnosed and promptly repaired. My questions are answered, and they show a great deal of respect and concern for my satisfaction as a customer. I would encourage anyone whos trying to find a consistent, effective and consumer-oriented (ie, not predatory) repair shop to visit CCC and find out firsthand why so many of us value their services.

We have used the same mechanic for years . . . and we love them. Unfortunately, our van was having a problem that they could not diagnose. We took our vehicle into Car Care Central on a Saturday morning, the problem was correctly identified and repaired within a few hours. For the first time in months, the vehicle is running smoothly again and I am confident in driving it more than a few miles. Since the original post, we have taken 2 additional cars to Car Care Central. They continue to take care of the problem the first time and even recommended something be completed under warranty that we did not know was available. Their integrity has won me over!

Recently I took my Malibu to the Chevy dealer for safety recall installations. As you would suspect they are going to check your car out. I was told that I needed to replace the rear brakes and bleed the brake system. The car just turned 100k miles. Mo mention was make of leaking rear calibers. I immediately took it to my go guy Curt at Central Car Care. They found the leaking calibers. Everything was repaired in a timely manner at a price less than the dealership. Great job as usual!

I just moved to the area from California and was looking for a good mechanic when i heard about them on CarTalk radio show. Took my late model mercedes-benz here when my check engine light came on and had it diagnosed within an hour or so and the repair was completed in just a few hours. Very knowledgeable technicians (Cliff) and the front office workers (Rick and Kirk) were both friendly and helpful. Will be bringing all of my cars here from now on. Great shop!

A friend of mine, Skip Cline, told me about Car Care. I went into because I thought I was having problems with a CV Boot or Joint. I needed neither. I got diagnosed with a bearing issue. I hadnt planned on spending that kind of money, but had it fixed on the spot. Rick was not only professional, but helped me out tremendously!!! Car Care will now have me as a customer for life, as well as my daughter, who will be bringing her car there also from now on.

Everyone at CCC is extremely helpful and take the care of my vehicles very seriously. They have chauffeured me around when my car was dead and I had to get to a doctor appointment. They have fixed flats and minor issues on the fly for free and always helped me when Ive been in a bind and needed fast service before taking impromptu road trips. It really gives me a sense of ease to know that CCC knows us and is there to help us when we need them!

I drive 5-10 year old cars and have been taking them to Car Care Central for service work since 2006 and I highly recommend them. They are very open and honest with me about what they find and what they recommend. Personnel turnover is very low; I know when I go in that Im going to know the Service Manager by name and they know mine. Ive never had a complaint. Any concerns or issues Ive had have been addressed quickly and completely.
