I came to Davidson Car Care in need of some immediate services for one of my fleet vehicles. 1. Inspection in order to get current registration 2. Clogged Evaporator core making the AC blow at a lower speed making it uncomfortable for my employees during these hot summer days in Texas. The office guys were great to deal with, I was treated like family here and no time was wasted addressing my issues and getting me back on the road. The techs in the back shop were definitely industry professionals with product knowledge, which can be rare to find these days. I cant tell you how many bad experiences Ive had with techs learning on my vehicle on MY dime....not here. I highly recommend theses guys for several reasons. Professionalism, efficiency and standing behind their product. I can empathize with this business model so am appreciative when I get the same service in return. Keep up the good work guys!

I took my vehicle to Davidson with a very strange noise and explained the problem to the guy behind the desk who jumped in the car and took off like a Bat out of Hades. When he came back and said “I know exactly what it is”. $700.00 later I pick up the car and before I am out of the parking lot the sound is still there. Go back in and they say OH that is something else. But it was imperative the other thing was fixed for safety reasons. So I let that one go who knows maybe they were right, I think. So for another $200.00 they fix what is causing the problem. Only problem is that didn’t fix it either. Now they need another $1000.00 to fix what I had originally brought to them fix and already paid them $900.00 and still had the exact same problem. I cut my losses at that point. They never even offered a discount or any part of the money back. One of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Davidson is a cost effective repair shop friendly to your wallet! My Dodge Grand Caravan had the brake light on and a sliding door that wouldnt lock. The dealership charged me $180 to tell me that it would cost me $3000 to fix the door, a "leaking" brake master cylinder, and an unknown issue of replacing my power steering gear. I have Davidson check it out and they dont find a leak, just low fluid. They replaced the fluids of power steering and brakes and the light goes away instead of $1200! Also, they were able to fix the lock on the sliding door for a couple of hundred $ instead of $1800! They literally saved me thousands of unnecessary $. I wrote this a couple of months after the work and everything is working fine. I will use them again.

I am very pleased with my experience at Davidson Car Care. I visited three other shops today to have my older truck inspected and none of them could help me (due to not having the equipment for testing emissions on older vehicles). Needless to say, my hopes were not very high as I arrived at Davidson. To my pleasure, the employees at Davidson Car Care were top notch. Out of the four places I visited, Davison Car Care was the only one to notice that my truck did not even need its emissions tested but that it just needed a safety inspection (saving me time and money). The employees there quickly took care of inspecting my truck (It passed) and got me back on the road. I would highly recommend Davidson Car Care.

Excellent Customer Service! My daughters car just stopped running. She had her children with her and didnt know what to do. I contacted Davidson Car Care and they just took over. They went to Plano, determined that they needed to take her car back to their shop for diagnostics, made towing arrangements, and took her and her children back home. After the repairs were completed, they picked her up at her home and took her to their shop to get her car. The repair and towing costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend Davidson Car Care! They are very focused upon their customers and perform excellent work at a reasonable cost.

Fantastic Service!! I went to a few other places before I found this gem through the BBB. They managed to find and fix a few problems my Jeep was having when no one else could. They didnt charge me an arm or a leg either. They also let me know about some issues that might pose a problem in the future, how the Jeep would act when the repairs would have to be made, and the cost of the repair. This is my go to place from now on! I HIGHLY recommend Davidson Car Care to anyone looking for honest, high quality work! Thanks guys!! You ROCK!!

My Wife and I took her car to them knowing the the alternator is mostly like bad with some battery cable trouble took their they said the battery and the cables where bad (battery just a year old). So i took the battery back to get it replaced because it was still under warranty and then brought it back to them and then put it on and i went back to work. Later they called and said it was an alternator and i was going to be way more then what the part would cost so do use them they are not a good shop.

Took my 25yo vehicle in for state safety inspection. At first they told me they couldnt inspect my vehicle because they didnt know the cut-off age for treadmill test. Then they "failed" my inspection due to a minor leak in the power steering return hose (hose was wet). It wasnt a true "fail" since they didnt bill me for the visit -- they just didnt want my (easy) business. After checking with TX DOT website, I took vehicle elsewhere where it passed with flying colors.

Starter went out on my daughters truck after 6,000 miles. Warranty had expired as it was for 1yr or 12,000 miles, whichever first and the work was done 8/17/2013. It cost $535. When I went to pick it up today Doug (the manager) informed me we owed NOTHING as he felt it must have been faulty. He didnt even charge us for labor!! What a pleasant surprise, made my day for sure!! We will be back. Thank you.

Not knowing what to expect, I pulled into this shop to get an estimate for an issue my Expedition was having. I had been given a couple other estimates by some other local shops lets just say the other quotes were for over $1k. I left Davidson today with a full coolant flush and my problem fixed for less than $100. Guys were awesome, curtious and honest! They will have my business anytime I need a mechanic!

These bad reviews puzzle me because I have been taking my cars to Davidson for 8 years, ever since they opened, and never had a problem with them. Their work has always been satisfactory and their prices have been very reasonable. The largest bill I ever had from them was $1,200 and they did a ton of work for that price. I dont know, maybe Ive just been lucky, but the luck has lasted for 8 years!

Nice staff.Gets simple things done in a reasonable amount of time. Only complaint is they dont offer any advice when you are trying to diagnose your own problem. I understand they need to make their money; but a full day for spark plugs? Come on man. Thats a 30 min job tops on my car. even shorter if you do it while changing the oil. If it wasnt for the coupon i would of changed it myself.
