Chistensen Tire & Automotive claimed they installed a catalytic converter to my automobile in August 2015 as well as a maintenance tune-up. Well now it is now February 2016 and the converter is clogged up and I just had to pay a mechanic over $500 for a tune-up, that included wires, and spark plugs that were claimed to be changed in August. The mechanic that made my repairs told me it was no way that a tune-up and as well as any wires could have been changed on my vehicle in less than 6 months ago. Ive spoken to Tom and Mike in the past two days and they were rude and very disrespectful in answering any questions that I had regarding them replacing the CC on my vehicle. This means Im out of pocket for a part that is covered under warranty but since I purchased the car a couple of months ago they wont honor the warranty of the CC under the one and only previous owner. I will find every outlet I can to let anyone know not to patronize this establishment. They clearly have been deceitful in their work and most likely claimed to do the work just so the vehicle would pass inspection, most likely because the owner at the time was getting ready to sell the vehicle. The prior owner had this vehicle for over 15 years and went there regularly for maintenance, tires and it seems most of his repair needs (CARFAX). Therefore, it is really sad that they have treated me in this way and completely lied to the prior owner about repairs that they believed had been done and paid for.

Steve. Your service and reputation as a neighborhood garage is questionable. In March 2012 your service manager said I needed a new catalytic converter for $900 on my 97 Taurus. I had a muffler shop weld the bracket back on for $25. Your service manager said my drum brakes in the rear needed new seals and other repairs totaling over $1,000. STEVE, my car does not have drum brakes and I have taken my car to 4 shops with no one confirming your diagnosis. I am writing this poor review as you took advantage of our family. This morning your manager Paul insisted my mother come back and apologize, threaten a lawsuit in front of all your customers, and completely mishandle our issues. You know who my family is and you need to deal with your shop. Christensen Tire has proven themselves to me they take advantage of all their customers. Also Steve, have your shop remove the following phrases from their vocabulary "your vehicle is unsafe to drive:, "your wheels could fall off at any minute", You are lucky you made it in to us today", and "your brake lines could fail at any time and you will not be able to stop the car".

These guys stripped the threading off of my oil pan by over-torquing the drain plug and tried to charge me $1200 for a new one. After discussing with the management, they refused to take fault, despite the fact they are the only shop to have touched my oil pan for the past 3 oil changes. I suggested a longer drain bolt to catch the remaining threads, and the guy at the shop tells me that they tried that, and it wont work. I finally get them to agree to retap the oil pan, only to get a call a couple of hours later saying they dont have the right tools to do it. What?! So they call and offered another solution - guess what it is? A LONGER DRAIN PLUG! My God! I feel like Im taking crazy pills. Go somewhere else, seriously.

I was so excited to come here after the reviews and the deal on Urban Dealight. I emailed prior to purchasing the deal to see if my car would be covered and the owner emailed back and replied yes. Unfortunately, when I brought my car in, they honored the deal even though my car took full synthetic oil but told me that they would not honor the second coupon I bought. One of the guys behind the counter treated me like I was trying to rip them off when I specifically emailed prior to purchasing. Definitely not coming back. Now lets see if Urban Dealight will refund me. They also took over an hour even though I was told it would be 45 minutes.

Walked in for a basic alignment as they were the closest to my house. Priced me higher than what was quoted on the phone. Told me my tie rods were frozen together and everyone in the shop had tried to get them apart. Parts & Labor were going to be over $800, when I balked and said I would take it somewhere else the guy gave me the whole "It isnt safe to drive in this condition and you could hurt yourself and/or your car." Took it to a mom and pop auto shop, alignment was done in an hour. Guy still charged me 30 for an inspection fee, I am going to see if I can get that back tomorrow when I get off work, will update.

I have had good service at Christensen so far. I saw the manager get curt with a customer, but the customer was asking for it. I am cautious after reading some of these reviews, but I can only speak of what I have experienced there. Have had 4 tires installed there. Four batteries changed, and new AC installed in my 2000 Grand Prix for around $1200 bucks and its been working for a year. I have not tested them in more complicated auto repairs. This place or any place may be reduced as performance electric vehicles take over that dont need near the maintenance and repair that internal combustion engines need.

Heater was not working, took it in and they wanted $1,100 dollars for a heater coil replacement. When asked if it could be flushed, the manager told me Id seen "too many youtube videos and it doesnt work like that anymore, maybe if I had the older model coils with bigger piping." I paid the 20 bucks for them to look at it, went home and flushed it myself, It took a little while because I didnt have the best tools. 1 hour later my heater was flushed and blowing hot air. Mistakes are ok, but I will not be going back mainly because of the arrogant attitude of the manager

I have called here once a week for the last month to offer help with any parts that these guys might be in need of....Dan is incredibly rude and said to me "The more you call, the more I am going to tell him to not use you" I guess Steve and Dan want to buy from companies that dont care enough to check in. Would NEVER recommend to any of our customers that need work done. Only gave a 1 star because its the lowest I can give.

I received excellent service at this location. The tires I wanted were not available so they sent out for them...they arrived within the hour and my service was completed the next hour. I was very impressed by the speed of the service and level of communication regarding vehicle status.

I went in for my usual oil change- and because they do more than just change your oil- they checked my tires and found a nail and fixed it right up. I was in and out in 35 minutes. Thank your Christensen Tire employees for the speedy service!
