We took our family mini to have a wheel bearing replaced after hearing a slight hum during a weekend trip. A neighbor had recommended Rallye. Everything else functioned fine on our van. Two days later our van was ready. On the drive home we immediately noticed something very wrong. The van drove like a worn out ranch truck. We called Scotty the next morning and he told us to bring it back and they would fix it. We were then told that our struts and shocks were bad and needed immediate replacement. While I was suspect, I told Scotty to just get the van fixed as we were driving it to Colorado the next week. Another call and the same thing. After three visits and a lot of money later we had a poorly functioning van. We ended up taking it to another shop and now have a properly functioning van. That shop informed us that the strut mounts were not replaced when the new struts were put on, a motor mount was stripped out and another broken. We had them do the repair and all is now fine. I personally called Scotty and asked him to reimburse only the cost to remove the struts again in order to install the mounts. I did not ask for anything more. Scotty refused and told me that had I brought the van back to him we might have worked something out. A 4th try to get it right? I think not! If you need simple brake or oil change job these guys may be fine but I would beware of in-depth mechanical. My silver lining was that I was getting a major timing belt service after our Colorado trip and luckily I did not have Rallye do that work.

I go to Rallye Auto Service for all my car maintenance and repair needs and wouldnt even think about going anywhere else. This is a family-owned and operated business, and they have been taking excellent care of their patrons for over 30 years. They have two locations, and both provide exceptional, unparalleled customer service. I was really surprised to read those few comments about going to the Richardson location because Scotty grew up with Rallye and has been involved in the business for 25 years and knows it inside and out. I have been to the one in Richardson countless times and have witnessed him patiently and knowledgeably answering customer questions. The Richardson location also sells tires and does inspections, so it really is a one-stop shop! I trust what both locations tell me 100% and know that they will never charge me for something I dont need. They give you options and explain the pros and cons of saving money versus the potential for future issues, etc. I was rear-ended at a red light last summer and got the body work done at a nearby dealership, and when I went to their shop for another matter, they even noticed that part of the body work was not done correctly and helped me rectify it. Not many places go above and beyond the way they do. They are competent, conscientious, excellent communicators, and full of integrity, and I highly recommend both locations!

(This review is for the Richardson location) Talk about zero customer service! The service manager acted like a know it all jerk (i would describe him as a feminine hygiene product if this wasnt a public forum. That is definitely a more accurate adjective for him). So much so that I decided to take my business elsewhere. Their parking lot was completely empty. That should have been my first sign. (The only reason I awarded them one star is because giving a negative rating is not allowed. And thats what they deserve) If you enjoy being treated poorly by someone you are paying to do a service for you, this is the place for you. If not, find somewhere else.

The best car repair place Ive been to. Ive taken both my car (2000 VW) and my girlfriends car (2001 toyota) here. Both time, Rallye had the opportunity to charge us anything they wanted. In my case, the problem was simply a hose and sensor that needed to be replaced, but if theyd told me the whole radiator was cracked, I wouldnt have known better. In my girlfriends case, they pointed out that the previous shop shed taken it to had used poor-quality parts in a repair, and that she should take it to them to get it fixed. They had driven the car and spent several hours checking it over, but they declined any payment at all.

This week we had a problem with our Jeep Grand Cherokee. After not being able to jump the car off. We called Paul and he was very helpful over the phone. Immediately we knew he was knowledgable and would help us find the problem and get it fixed. After exhausting everything we could do at home we had our car towed to Rallyes on 75. Within the first day we spoke with Paul several times and he walked us through each step until the problem was resolved. The experience was not typical of auto service companies. I will be going back for all problems in the future. I would recommend this to all of my family and friends.

I have gone to Rallye since 1995 and keep coming back. They recently opened a new shop on Beltline where Firestone used to be and relocated another shop out on Frankford but Scot and Paul are still providing excellent service. I had a bothersome SRS lite and after calling around took it to Rallye Beltline for diagnosis. Scot came over and ran a scan to determine the problem and found it is a recall issue for the dealership and the fix is free. Scot didnt charge for his time either so I continue to be a satisfied customer.

As a woman, I have always felt Rallye Auto treated me fairly and with respect over the years. Recently, I pulled the splatter shield off my Prius parking over a curb. Today, Rallye auto fixed my splatter shield for FREE. When is the last time an auto repair shop did that for you! ?! I gather it was a minor repair, but still, they could have said $15.00 for parts and labor or something but they did it for free. As a retired teacher, I am most grateful and remain a most loyal customer. Thank you again! :)

Exceeding expectations. Totally satisfied. As I went to Rallye auto after visiting couple of other service stations. Paying exorbitant to those people, problem was not resolved. My car had 160k+ miles on it with check engine light on. They looked over all the details and gave me very complete description of all codes/problems and relevant solution. Unlike others who just focus on initial or first problem codes. Rallye will bey my choice for my vehicle in future. And also recommend them to all.

Ive been a client of Scotts since the early 90s. Im a shadetree mechanic and do some of my own work, point being I generally dont bring these guys the easier stuff. I keep coming back because they are honest, wont sell you something you dont need, and if for some reason they didnt nail the issue the first time, will work to get it right. I trust Scott entirely. As theyve grown, its a little tougher to get in sometimes, but Paul has helped from the customer service perspective. Recommended.
