Tim was nice guy, recommended to me by another shop and said this is the place for carb overhauls. originally took to have valves adjusted on my 30 year old land cruiser. dropped truck off they quoted me a little higher than dealership but Tim said they had a special way of doing valve adjustments. it was around 300 bucks which i thought was reasonable so went ahead and dropped the truck off . he had for 2 days which was not a too bad. . Tim called and said she needs some TLC for sure .went and picked up truck still had some valve train noise. he said Carb needs overhaul and may need motor work, headgasket and exhaust work. said we could do one thing at a time because of cost. I picked up truck and few weeks later another guy recommended me taking to another place for second opinion. took over to another shop and guy looked at it and said who worked on this truck before ?. I told him a place in Richardson. H had for one day and said come pick it up its ready.he said its really doesnt need much at all, couple if oil leaks and front sxles are leaking. he said the intake manifold gasket had one bolt that was loose that just needed to be tighten. he said it was very obvious. that bolt was sitting in place just rattling. he said carb needed a simple adjustment, there was about 2 dollars worth of vaccuum lines that needed to be replaced. some were missing and the valves were not adjusted at all 3 of them were loose. he charged me about 400 dollars mostly labor and the truck runs like perfect now super quiet . i even had him do vapor test for head gasket leak and compression check and he said it was on par for factory specs. i had some do the front axles and had them resealed which needed to be done. I believe who ever was working on the vehicle at quality first had no clue on what he was doing or no experience dont think any of the work was even done. not impressed at all. wont be going back.

Best Auto Repair shop i have ever been to hands down! By far the most honest, real people i have ever experienced in a auto shop. Ashley (the owner) was a very kind man. I called the shop and had my car taken in that day. April (the receptionist) called the towing company and had my vehicle towed up the auto shop from my school. When i got there they immediately began to look at my car. I filled out paper work and explained to them the issues with my vehicle. I drive a 2011 Chevy Cruze and it was over heating and had a rattling noise under the hood. Despite the Cruze being a new model all together Ashley was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the vehicle and jumped in immediately. They are 100% and honest and explained to me this could be a minor issue that could be easily fixed or it could end up being something much more serious, potentially evolving needing a new vehicle. They told me not to worry and that they would initially being trying the simple solution and let me know the status from there. And he was right all it needed was a new water pump, thank goodness! My car was in the shop for only 2 days and was done and ready to go! April picked me up from and brought me out to my car when it was finished! Amazing prices as well, very reasonable and all in all such a great experience. Such nice honest people, i will not be bringing my vehicle any where besides to Ashley for now on!!

I own a 1980 Jeep CJ-5. She is my baby and i am always concerned when repairs are needed. I brought my Jeep to Quality First and I have never felt more comfortable working on me Jeep. Everything was explained by the mechanic and there were no pop up expenses. They expalin everything in common english and what work will be done. I cant tell you how comforting this is in the days of ripoffs and bad work. The Beck family is built on fixing things right the first time and honoring thier commitments. The firat word in their name is quality and they deliver. If you have car trouble please consider this shop because you can delete all the car repair shops you currently have. If my 33 year old Jeep can be in good hands then your car or truck will br fixed right. I wished I could think of more things to tell you about them.. but trust me on this one.

One of the few REAL mechanic shops that know what they are doing and explained everything well like an experienced mechanic should. No pop ups or surprises. Reasonable and fair pricing and quick turnaround for what I needed done. If you are having some car trouble and live around this area, this is who I would use. I had to get a new fuel pump which is $$$ but he gave me fair labor pricing and I couldnt have asked for better service. On top of that the owner (Tim)gave me a ride home so I wouldnt have to call a friend or uber. Real standup old school guy.

Van Little

I have a 1971 Chevrolet G10 Van with the stock engine and carburetor. I took it to so called "experts" but no one could get it to run right on todays pump gas. Just before I threw in the towel I found Tim at Quality First Auto Service. He worked his magic on it and it runs as smooth as glass with no hiccups. Check them out, they will restore your faith in the auto repair business!

This family owned and operated shop is second to none. They are knowledgeable, honest, and stand behind their work. I had my marine carb rebuilt by them and it went in looking like a pile of junk, but came back looking so good that I was dumbfounded. It was just a plug and play deal from there. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

This is the 3rd garage to examine my car when four of my emission readings failed to reset. Tim figured it out, and now he is calling the garage that installed my transmission to explain the issue. The issue will likely be covered by my warranty. Thank you!
