Wow, where do I start. Ive been going to Bruce for over 10 years after being referred to him by my mechanic down in Lake Highlands. We needed a new transmission & my mechanic did not do them. All i can say is that Bruce, Joe & the mechanics are all LIFE SAVERS. Big city business but with small town values. In other words, they take care of you comes heck & high water. My mechanic in Lake Highlands retired so ALL my business has been done by Bruce & his boys for 10 years now. They have done about everything with our cars, van, truck & suburban. From tune ups, putting in a New Engine, Front end, rear end, breaks, electrical, etc. You name they have done it. If they dont/cant do it , which has been rare ,they tell you where to go to get it done. Like redoing my leather seats or some body work. Joe knows everyone. Whos good & to go to and whos not so good & stay away from. He tells it like it is. His word is platinum. THEY STAND BY THERE WORK. I have had a couple of repairs go bad, not because of there work but because the part they got from the parts house was bad. I cant & wont fault them for that. Heck, it happened to my old mechanic plus my fathers mechanics. Thats life. It happens. At times when they have been slammed with business & I needed my vehicle done like yesterday & they couldnt get to it for a week they have referred me to someone else. Like I said, they take care of you & back it up plain & simple! Good People!!! Good Values!!! I wont go any place else unless Joe refers me or wont accept my $$$ (Not). Great service and price! I HIGHLY recommend these guys. I have used them twice in the past two years.Two years ago, after getting quotes from several places, they did a rebuild on my F250 truck.Their price was significantly less, in and out quickly, and the truck still works great after 50K miles. I just had a problem with the air suspension on my Navigator. Again, I got ridiculous quotes to replace that air system. I called Joe at Eagle and found out they also did mechanical work and their quote was again much less for the job even though the parts had to come from the dealer. Joe made a suggestion to eliminate future issues by removing the air system and adding conventional springs. BEST ADVICE and decision I ever made. The cost was much less, the truck rides great and there is no chance for future issues with the air suspension.

Took a 2001 Mazda Protege in several times due to transmission going out. They said it need and overhaul kit but not a full rebuild. Was still around $2K. A week later it stopped working again, same symptoms---sitting at a light and wont go forward. Eagle continued to insist it was an electrical issue and not the transmission. Never got it fixed right. Sold the car to a friend who is a Mechanic..wanted it for his son. Transmission started slipping again..took to a good Transmission Mechanic and found the entire Transmission was shot. He replaced it himself with a kit he bought and now the car runs great. I spent over $2,000 on the useless transmission from Eagle and got $500 for the car. The car had not been driven more than 100 miles since I started the transmission repairs with Eagle, some time in 2013.

This is the BEST place to get honest and quality service. I met the owner Bruce almost 15 years ago and he is the most trustworthy person I have ever come across when dealing with my vehicles. Every Time I call, Joe says, bring it in and hell have my vehicle checked and they always get back to me in a timely manner. They are very good at finding the problem with my car(s) and have never tried to find things wrong that werent (like almost every other shop does). If they find something else wrong while fixing my car, Joe always calls to let me know instead of just doing it without my knowledge. The wait time, prices and customer service is above and beyond perfect. I would not recommend any other place than Eagle Transmission because it is the only place you get complete honesty and is not out to screw you.

This shop is top notch. They were very professional and extremly knowledgeable (they explain!). They are not the cheapest in town, but they get the job done right and gaurantee their work. With something as sophisticated and critical as the transmission, you need it done right. The four signs that this shop was going to be good to me: firstly, I noticed the police cars in their shop (one could only imagine the rigorous use of these transmissions), secondly, I noticed the running BBB awards, thirdly all the business they turn out daily (just look at the number of different cars in their shop each time you swing by), and fourth, if you have a chance, just observe the customer picking up their car. Have used these guys in the past, but this time was not a good experience. After getting the transmission rebuilt for the 2nd time in 6 years, I had to take it back the next day do to a major leak. That was quickly fixed, but should never have been allowed out of the shop. A week later though the transmission is completely gone and having to get the car towed to the shop. While this shop is usually a little cheaper than others in town, its not worth having to spend several days back and forth to get it done right.

This shop just needs to go under. cant seem to fix a transmission right the first time in and out of the shop for a month. exactly one month goes by no long road trips basic driving has to go back in due to the same problem. Get nothing but excuses on why its not fixed. say they will give and update on the car on estimate time it will take NEVER hear from them. I have to call them to get an update. they cant seem to do anything in a timely fashion other than take your money.

One of the best places i ever seen, i replaced all 4 of my motor mounts for a very good price while dealers was around 1250 with labor, transmission Eagle is the greatest i have seen in independent mechanic shops. i recommend this place to those who needs help with repairs.

These guys have put two transmissions in two of my cars and afterward I never had a problem. They worked with me on payments as most other mechanics would not. I would highly recomend Eagle at this location for all your transmission/mechanical needs. Hats off to Eagle....
