This is the first review thats not aligned with all the reviews here!! I walked in asking for an alignment as I thought it would be the problem as my car is pulling right. In the front desk, a gentlemen asked why would I need an alignment and I gave him the same reason. The car was taken for a trail and then placed in for alignment. After about 40 mins or so, the same gentlemen said that the alignment is done but thats not the reason for the pull and asked me weather I would like take the tire rotation service as well and change the tires. I asked him if the tires were bad and he says they are not and I couldnt understand why the tires have to be changed when they are not bad I didnt understand for a moment and asked that the alignment was done for nothing? He replied me you asked for alignment and we did it and there will be a million reasons for the cause of pull. And his best approximation was I had to get the tire rotation done. And he is not sure if this will solve the problem. All I expected was a proper inspection so that I can get it done but they want to the trail and error method for which I hesitated. He was doing something in the computer, I guess raising the invoice for which I was just standing in knowing that I have to PAY. Then, the mechanic brought the key in and placed it on the counter. I tried taking the keys as usual, when the gentlemen almost grabbed the keys as if I were about to take the keys and run and asked me DO YOU WANT TO PAY OR NOT? Before I even responded, he told "TAKE THE KEYS AND GET OUT". That was soooo RUDE I was stunned and I didnt realize what was wrong from my part!!!! I offered my card and said I dont know why did u say that but here is my card and o respect the work done and please charge it!!!! He hesitated and didnt want to charge while I insisted but he never did!!! I REPEATEDLY ASKED HIM WHY DID HE SAY TO GET OUT for which he APOLOGIZED as he realized he would have slipped his tongue and really thought that I would walk away happily when he didnt have to charge with 80$. That was not the case and he didnt expect that I would insist on charging me for the service. What I want to convey to CORNERSTONE is not Everyone is car expert and thats why we come to you! Its your primary responsibility to educate the customer instead of showing attitude and thinking everyone is cheap!!!!! Never gonna go there again and get insulted again!!!! Thanks to that gentleman who taught me somehow that next time I just have to say "my car is pulling right, can you please check!??"

When I lived in Arlington, I took my car to Cornerstone. Now I live 20 miles further away in Midlothian. Still take my car to Cornerstone. I trust my very old, worn-out car to no one else. They try do get me the best deals without overspending for costly repairs. Example: My cars horn had stopped working. It wouldve cost over $1,000 to replace the entire airbag assembly just to replace one malfunctioning button. Instead they jerry-rigged an alternate horn button screwed to the top of my steering wheel for only $185. Now I have a horn and the airbags didnt need replacing just to replace one stupid, useless horn button. Think any other auto shops wouldve done that? I also have a timing belt service coming up soon. They quoted me a price of $529. My first service at Don Herring cost me $1000. My second one at Christian Brothers cost about $800 if memory serves me. Rich & Matt are great people as well as great mechanics. My entire family takes their cars to Cornerstone and you should too.

Rich and his team are first class all the way! Knowledgeable, professional, courteous, thorough, but most importantly, a place of high integrity. Rich and his guys are the ONLY ones I will allow to touch my vehicles. I have 100% trust in Cornerstone and their opinions as it concerns my automobiles. Cornerstone Car Care has been servicing my Acura and Honda automobiles since the 1980s. I was attracted to them because of their competence, their emphasis on customer service, their honest assessment of what needed to be done and their fair pricing. The only thing that has changed in over 20 years is the size of the shop and some of the staff. Rich, one of the two original owners is still at the helm and runs a great operation.

Cornerstone Car Care is an amazing place to take your car for repair. They are honest and go over and beyond to fix your car at a reasonable price. We took a 1974 Monte Carlo and a 2010 Honda for repairs and they did an excellent job fixing both. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing car repairs. The staff is very easy to work with for questions and answers fixing your car. 5 stars for Cornerstone!!!

These guys are solid pros. They diagnosed what was causing my Fiesta to not accelerate (clogged air vents) when another mechanic couldnt figure it out. I dont mind paying a diagnostic fee when the guys know what theyre doing.
