The brakes on my 2005 Toyota Corolla were squeaking a bit, so I took it in here. They said I needed to have the front calipers rebuilt at $150 plus the brake job of $100. I said all I can do was the brake job (replacing shoes and pads) and for 30 minutes they tried to pressure me into getting the other stuff done. I said I couldnt afford it (15 times) and they said I should try to borrow the money from family. Finally they gave up and we signed the paperwork. 20 minutes later (brakes should have been done by now) they come in and tell me I need to flush out the brake system and that will cost $40. I say no thanks, they look at me like Im crazy, and 30 minutes later my brakes are done. I call Meineke, they tell me its ludicrous to rebuild the calipers on a four year old car. They say theres no need to replace calipers unless a lot of fluid is leaking (in my case none). They say all my car needed was to adjust the slides on the brakes, which would cost $21 each. If you read online about Just Brakes, you will see how many complaints they have and how often they rip people off. I really think the compliments online are written by Just Brakes. Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off.

I have gone twice... I know a lot of people have bad experiences with them but I actually had a good experience except for the time factor. I went in the first time to have a brake line fixed that was leaking and it turned out I needed front pads and the rotors turned. at least it was obvious I needed them done no pad left and the rotors always should be turned when the pads are that worn down. Also they noted that I needed a ball joint replaced and well again obvious that it needed done but I didnt have the money and they couldnt get the part that day anyway,, I have a 97 Volvo.. parts are hard to get from the dealer.. their part was $189 but I called and found it at auto zone for $91 and they were more than happy for me to bring my own part in and they would do the labor. The man at the counter also hunted down their mail in coupons to get me some money off and so I got what I needed done for what I could afford and was happy with it except for the time it took... but to be fair they were fully loaded and only three people working at the time I went in at 7am...

April 18, 2009 This place is sad. I went there for a simple brake pad replacement. They tried to burn me for $ 789.00. I went to another repair shop earlier that morning. I was told me it would cost me $ 129.99 to replace brake pads. I decided to check out Just brakes because of the ad for $ 99.00. To my surprise, they claim I needed damn near a complete brake system overhaul. I new that couldnt be right. I told them to put things back like there were, I did not want them to do anything on my car. They then claim they could do part of the work for $ 389.00, I could bring my car back for them to finish the job. These people are real theives. I will never again take my car back to them or recommend them to anyone. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS.

I dont trust these guys! In fact Ive put in several call to the corporate headquarters. My daughters car had a small grinding sound when she applied her brakes. Two experts said what the car needed the rotors turned and new pads. They estimated the cost of no more than $200 tops. By the time these guys got through at JUST BRAKES #36 they want $997.00. She asked them to just take care of the rotors and pads. Now the brakes are grinding worse than ever and sound like somethings hitting ever time it accelerates. Today she had a tire replaced at Discount Tires and the mechanic there said they didnt turn the rotors. He could feel it! I want our money back!

Went there for some new pads put on my front brakes, and then Im told everything had to be replaced and it would cost me $1054.50 + tax.... I looked at their checklist of the items needing replaced and thought it was quite funny as they wanted to charge me $142.00 to replace 2 calipers, and $192.00 to replace 2 caliper pistons on the calipers they planned on replacing... So basically, they wanted to charge me for replacing 2 caliper pistons that would have never been replaced because they had planned on putting new ones on.. Thats cute you guys!

Almost perfect. Highly recommend this location. Plus they are open on Sundays! The folks here are diligent, understanding and provide attention to detail. They were able to diagnose the brake problem for my older vehicle, yet unfortunately, due to the inadequate design work on this Lexus, were unable to install the new part since portion would have to be cut or removed which would be unfitting in generate poor operation. Lexus - Toyota dealership was the only choice. I shall return for future work as needed

The manager promised me a call back along with a refund of work that I was charged for...BUT...it was never completed. Even the district manager has failed to call me back..Just brakes had my car for almost a month and NEVER fixed not one of the issues but had no problems racking the bill up.. If you are a female dont go to any just brakes unless you spit fire and work on cars because they will have zero respect for you. I have dealt with 2 just brake location and both have failed to fix my car..

They told me my head gasket was leaking (it wasnt). They left a hose clamp on the front driver side brake line. My brakes went out trying to stop on 360 and I barely avoided a 3 car accident. They told me they would give me my money back and I have yet to get it back. Ive been up to the shop at least 10 times and still cant get my money back. This place will take your money, sabotage your vehicle, and never give you a refund. This place should be shut down.

I own a 2005 Honda Accord and having problems with my brakes shaking when applied. We drove from Forney, Texas to Arlington. Josh and Rusty had great knowledge of the parts and their function. Josh immediately put my car on the lift and within 10 minutes he knew what the problem was. Within a couple of hours I picked up my car and it drove like new again. Very nice and knowledgeable people. Will definitely take my future cars to them!!!
