I was way overdue for an oil change and in a hurry to head out of town so i decided to come here instead of doing it myself, first mistake. When I pulled up a man was helping another customer and as soon as he was finished he greeted me and asked what I needed. I told him I need an oil change, synthetic. He took my information and a couple minutes later, I had a ticket and was walking around walmart. I was told it would be about 20 minutes, but probably less (there were no cars ahead of me). After shopping around for about 30 minutes, I took my items and my ticket to the auto registers to check out. The guy who helped me (very polite) took the ticket, looked through some papers, checked outside and then told me it wasnt done yet. I looked out the window, and while there were a line of cars in the garage and out, my truck was not one of them. I asked, then where is my truck? He asked me what kind it was and then stumbled through more papers and looked outside, this went on for a couple of minutes, and right as I was about to fully freak out that my truck was apparently missing, the manager (Im assuming) at the computer by the window asked me what kind of truck it was, he looked on the computer, and then took some papers from the printer and handed to the guy helping me saying "its right here". I checkout and paid for my service and was given my keys. When I got out to my truck I looked over the charges and saw the charge for synthetic oil 5 and 1 quarts, and then a charge of 2 dollars for a filter. Now everytime Ive changed my own oil and filter, and the Fram filters for synthetic are between 8 and 15 dollars everytime... this was alarming... did I just pay extra for synthetic oil, so I could go longer without changing, and then get a cheap filter put in that guarantees something will have to be changed sooner than later? I went inside and asked the manager what kind of filter this was that they put in my truck, to which he replied it was a basic filter. I said that I had wanted a synthetic oil change, why wouldnt they put a synthetic filter? To which he responded, well, those are more... like 12 bucks. Then he went off to look at the oil filters (Im assuming to get a price) Once he returned, he confirmed it would have been 8 dollars more, and I said I dont care how much more it is, Im just still not understanding why that wouldnt be assumed in a synthetic oil change, or at least mentioned as an upsell or anything. Now not only will I have to change the filter sooner, but Ill have to buy another bottle of oil to replace the oil loss when I do. Then he said they could replace it now for me, and I asked if they would top off the oil that will be lost. He said, there wouldnt be any oil loss. Theres oil in the damn filter youd be taking out! Considering there were about 8 cars in line for the garage (like i said, I was in a hurry), I denied the replacement and went on my way. And last but not least, looking at the little sticker they put in my windshield, they had me coming back after 3000 miles... THE ENTIRE REASON I USE SYNTHETIC OIL, IS BECAUSE MY TRUCK CAN GO 10000 MILES ON IT BEFORE A CHANGE! Now i dont even know for sure if they actually used sythetic. Ugh, and face slap. That teaches me, and Ive learned my lesson. Change your own oil, its cheaper and you know exactly what is or isnt being used for your vehichle. Or atleast take it somewhere, where that is all they do all day... but read the reviews first. Everyone seemed polite enough. And it was quick... Im just unsure about what service my truck actually got.... :-/

Id previously had decent experiences here. Never quick by any means but decent. However this last time was plain old poor customer service that will cause me to never return. I dropped my vehicle off as usual. Shopped around for 30 min. I come back and see my car in a diff spot. Its NEVER been done in 30, so I keep shopping, thinking there must have been people in front of me. Another 30 minutes and its in the same place. Now I have questions so I ask the attendant who seems to not understand simple grammar and semantics. He was older so whatever. I ask a mechanic and after 10 minutes of digging, he says "oh we dont have the filter for your car" and hands me my keys back and immediately hops on the phone. THEY KNEW THAT AN HOUR AGO and didnt think to call and tell me( they have phone numbers registered AND an intercom). Completely wasted my time. I had been shopping and I immediately left my things on the counter there and left in my vehicle. THERES A PENNZOIL ON LAMAR. Go here instead.

worst place ever .. they lied about giving me a full service $39 on two vehicles i took but only did a $19 oil change. because when i left i had to stop at the autoparts store to see of they could tell me about a humming noice my truck was making an they said all it was . that it needed power steering fluid. so i told them to check the rest of the truck and car i had taken to get seviced. on they both were still low on power steering, coolant, and transmission. and i checked on the print out they give you and everthing said that it was ok and checked.!!!!!!!. so i called to speak with a manager and their wasnt one so i called the next day and they put me on hold for along time and no one came to the phone..!!!!! SO HERE IT GOES INSTEAD OF GOING HERE AND GETTING RIPPED OFF GO TO PEPBOYS THEY MIGHT BE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT ITS WORTH IT THEY DO CHECK EVERTHING OUT.....

My car wont start, I guessed its battery problem.I took out the battery then I stopped by them to check the battery. The employee there told me after testing the battery that its dead and I have to replace it by a new one and I did that. When I went home and checked the new one, my car is still not working. The problem is not the battery!!! I came back there again to return it, they refused that and the employees were very rude when they were talking to me and the support manager from the customers service came there and she was shouting when she was talking to me. They enforced me to pay money for nothing. Its theft under sunshine... VERY BAD SERVICE AND VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES.DONT GO THERE.

Some of the staff are very friendly while the others just dont seem to understand what is going on. Came in for a car battery replacement, easy fix no problem. I would do it myself except Im lacking the tools at the moment. I was in the front of the que for battery replacement, what should have taken 30-40 min turned into a 180 min event. If you want a simple service to take the entire day feel free to waste your time here. I wont be returning nor recommending anyone to come here.
