If you are not fluent in Spanish, do not call this company. If you expect excellent customer service, run the other way. They sent two women who did not understand a stitch of English, thus unable to comprehend basic instructions I was giving them. When I called the company agent to relay instructions (and register my displeasure) they acted like there was no reason to communicate since the "women already know what to do." Meanwhile, as Im on the phone with the agent, the women had stopped working, packed up, and walked out. While they were leaving, the agent called them on the phone, gave them instructions, so they then turned around to walk back into my place to complete the job. I called the agent back to inquire what was going on, since the women couldnt communicate it to me, and she put me through to a manager (Pedro) who decided it wasnt worth the trouble to resolve, and just informed me he was canceling the job. The women once again packed up their stuff and left my place in more disarray than before. lol wow. I told Pedro that a number of people have asked for a report of my experience with his company, and asked him "how many people do you think Im going to tell this story to?" his response was "Thats okay." So apparently theyre not aiming for excellence here, and dont mind losing your business. Do yourself a favor and hire a service that can communicate with you about what happens inside your home.

We signed up with Morehands about a month ago and so far have been extremely happy with their service. After a visit from them coming home is like stepping in to a nice hotel room, everything is not just clean but tidy and attractively arranged. I appreciate the little attention to detail things, like arranging the origami animals my kids left on the window ledge in a cute little display. In fact, both kids love running around the house when they get home looking for all the little things the maids do. Other favorites include: folding the toilet paper into a triangle and making our throw on the couch look like a bow. I also appreciate the online scheduling, automatic payment (no having to get cash) and the ability to chose (for a small fee) that they use the 7th Generation products Id use if I were doing the heavy cleaning. Also, after each visit I get a followup e-mail which makes tweaking the service easy.

June 2017: this update is based on recent experience with the person who schedules or plans their service. The people who clean and perform the service are excellent. The schedulers problem is that he doesnt read the message entered about keys until the night prior. For people out of service for the day that will mean they cant fix or address what he overlooked for weeks. If you have a comment field and people leave notes, read it before you confirm the visit with a message. The end result is if you can get the schedule person to actually do work, youll be impressed with the maid service. Previous update: Ive been using this service for about 10 years since I moved downtown and happened to walk by their location with my dog one afternoon. The work they do to clean my apartment whether for a move out or for just a typical clean up is wonderful.

Horrible Customer Service: I was so frustrated when I called them to get a quote! I am not sure how this company is even surviving with that kind of sales. I have 2 bed 2 bath 1000 sqft apartment and when I called in for a quote they dont even care to answer what you ask and directly say to go online and check it. I already did it online but not very much contoured to my needs like I provide my own supplies, vaccumm cleaner, carpet is brand new installed a couple of days ago and I usually do clear up everything, no dishes needed, no linens or laundry. Just a very basic cleaning every 2 weeks and I maintain it in that condition. They quoted me around $150.00 and said its a flat rate. $150 for an hour of cleaning? Not sure if its just me that is feeling its way too high but I would definitely not encourage such high charges.

Ive had Morehands coming to my home for over a year now, about once every 3 weeks, and it has helped me sooo much. I have three small boys and knowing that once a month we pick up the clutter (or most of it!) and theyll come clean my home is a huge sanity saver. Theyre always professional. Sometimes Im at the house, sometimes Im not. I can always trust that theyll do a great job. IF I have something come up, or a special request I make sure to email in advance so they have plenty of time to get back to me and relay the information to the people who come out to the house. Ive never had a problem with communication, it has always been easy and pleasurable to do business with them, and whenever they come out it feels so luxurious to come home to a clean, tidy, pretty home.

We paid this service to do a move out clean last year. It was expensive, but we hoped worth it to avoid cleaning ourselves. When we went back through the house on a final walk thru, there were whole sections they had not mopped, dust bunnies still flying around, ceiling fans and miniblinds hadnt been touched ... it was so unacceptable, we had to go back through and dust/vacuum/mop again ourselves, to avoid our landlord retaining our deposit. We called later to explain the situation and ask for a refund, and were given just a partial refund (like a quarter of the cost). Extremely disappointing, will never use them again.

We use to clean houses professionally and we are quite particular when it comes to cleaning standards and they have exceeded our standards each and every time. They are quick, efficient and thorough. You can pay extra for Seventh Generation products or you can leave yours for them to use. The prices are great and super competitive. Having the ability to schedule online is great and is what really sold me initially, but the service is what keeps me coming back... Thanks MoreHands, you make our lives a lot easier and a lot cleaner and prettier.

Giving one star, is giving one too many. They broke valuables on a visit, THREW AWAY the pieces, and DIDNT contact me about it. I noticed the items were gone; I didnt know if they stole the antiques because there was no note, or any trace of the items left behind. The manager actually had the audacity to offer me 10% off my next service as a way to re-pay me for my "troubles". I will NEVER use their services again, nor would I reccommend to a mortal foe. AND their "cleaning" is completely half-a$$.

We have been using Morehands every three weeks for several years and they do a nice job. One benefit of using a company like this is that they provide you with an opportunity to give feedback after every visit and on the rare occasion that something isnt done to your satisfaction, they make it right. My kids are always delighted to see their beds made and their stuffed animals arranged after their visit, they race upstairs to check their rooms on the days they come.
