TO: [email protected] (Postmaster General) Please look into the management and competency of the North Texas Processing and Distribution Center, Coppell Texas facility. Here are 82 reviews within the last few months, that indicate the depth of despair of the postal customer whose packages have been lost here. And I suspect 82 is the tip of the iceberg. Management at this facility is apparently unable to instill a sense of pride in the work being done. All self-motivation has been extracted from every employee. No reward for a job well done and no accountability for poor performance. Water is seeking its own level, which is apparently pretty low. Take a look at this Tracking information. I spoke with Tonya at the Hubbard Post Office, in Texas, where my package had been misdelivered once. Give her a promotion and a management position. She is an example of people that should be working in the Postal Service. She was very helpful, tried to make things right but was forced by process to send my package back into the morass of the Coppell NT P&D Center. She did say if it came back to Hubbard again, she would deliver it by hand. I am afraid good people like her will be brought down to the meager level of performance of the general USPS Employee because there is no reward for her good performance.

This Post Office has provided the worst experience I have had, to date, with the USPS. My very important registered parcel "fell asleep" there for nearly 10 days until I had to call USPS and initiate an investigation. And only then, did they wake up and take action...... The package contained memorial items for my recently deceased son intended to for his memorial service. Needless to say they did not get there in time. If you ship something important in your life, consider alternate options. This experience motivated me to open a Fed Ex account. Ive now lost too many items that they falsely scanned as delivered. The worst part, is that when they scan them delivered, before they even leave the Post Office, YOU CAN NOT collect your paid for insurance. This has happened to me. My local USPS has admitted to scanning items as delivered to your home even before they leave the building so they appear to have been delivered even early. The problem is, they are later lost, or misdelivered!!! She literally told me "she has spoken to them many times, but they wont stop it."

I had a Priority Two-Day package (a flat envelope) sent from a vendor in Ft. Worth that was "picked up" on 12/17 (Thursday). It was shown scheduled for delivery in D.C. on 12/21 (Monday). The tracking information shows that it arrived at NTX P&DC on Sunday, 12/20 at 12:38 am and departed that facility on 12/20 at 12:42 am (four minutes later?), yet as of Monday 12/21 when I checked, it was still shown at NTX P&DC only as "arriving", with no departure shown. Somehow, I doubt the package moved so quickly through their facility that they didnt have time to log the tracking data. It looks like some "mickey mouse" is going on here. Its now Tuesday, December 22 and the package has arrived at our regional airport. The earliest I will see it is tomorrow, Wednesday December 23. To anyone that can count, thats five working days (excluding Sunday) since it was picked up on a two-day priority delivery. I could have driven to Coppell, TX and back in my own vehicle in that amount of time. Pathetic, and suggestive of the fact that someone is not managing this mail facility well.

If you have problems with a package here do not bother calling as they do not answer their phone line, I was on hold for 3+ hours! I called a neighbouring post office in Coppell and explained what was happening at this place. I told her this was completely unacceptable and she agreed with me! I also emailed the post-master general informing her of the situation. I eventually got an email from an employee at this place, although no response from the post-master general herself and eventually an update that my package is on its way to its destination now, thank god. Long story short, If you suspect anything wrong with a package at this facility DO NOT BOTHER CALLING THEM. If you do anything, call the neighboring post office and email the post-master general.

My customers pay for USPS tracked shipments. The USPS, more often than not, does not get the acceptance scan point uploaded into their tracking system for days. I am constantly having the handle customer inquiries as to the status of their orders because the tracking number still shows pre-shipment notification received 2-3 days after it was hand delivered to our local USPS station. And then there are the shipments that bounce around, back and forth, between the three DFW area sort centers for 3, 4,5 or more days before they even depart the area. There is little or no accountability within their ranks, they take no responsibility when these issues are brought up, and it is a shame. My customers deserve, and pay for, better service this this.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS A TIME LIMIT ON MY PAPERS I CERTIFIED MAILED TO SOMEONE YEA DIVORCE PAPERS. THAT WERE SUPPOSE TO BE THERE THE 2ND OF MARCH WHICH SAYS THEY ARRIVED AT NTX P&DC USPS 03/02/16 AND DEPARTED 03/02/16 WHICH WAS THE LAST TIME MY DIVORCE PAPERS WERE SCANNED IN SO I AM VERY SURE THEY HAVENT LEFT YET OR THEY WOULD HAVE ARRIVED BY NOW!!!! WE WILL HAVE SERIOUS ISSUES TOMORROW IF MY PAPERS ARENT ARRIVING TOMORROW!!!!!! PATHETIC AN THE GOVERNMENT KEEPS THEM AROUND WHY??? IM SURE THEY HAVE TO GIVE MORE REFUNDS THAN ANYTHING.

Terrible!!!! Multiple times Ive mailed 1st class packages from Irving that have gone to this postal center & sat for days before leaving. Example, I mailed a package on Tuesday, 12-15-15 from Irving & paid for tracking. Expected delivery destination was today, however its still sitting in Coppell since 8:18am Wednesday morning 12-16. This is ridiculous! I realize its Christmas season but last time I mailed a pkg was in September & it took 10 days when it was supposed to take 2-3! At this rate itll be there in January.

To the Postmaster General I have a package sitting at the Coppell, TX 75099 facility that has been there since 4/13/16 ~ today is 5/3/16. I cannot reach anyone at the facility and the sender is helpless to help as the package is in transit. I am amazed that a USPS facility is this inept. I am further discouraged by the HUGE amount of negative reviews on this postal unit. Surely with this many complaints something should be looked into or done about this. I normally have excellent service with USPS.

Nothing. I have no faith in the postal system. Sent a certified letter to ntx p&dc. It rotated back and forth from Washington to Texas for over a month. No one would help even my own local post office in fort Morgan, Colorado. No one answers the phone. I didnt give up and finally got someone to answer the phone in Washington. She located my letter and over nighted it back to me. What a nightmare. This was my mortgage payment. I now have to over night everything at 19.00 a letter.
