I run a small business out of my home, and have been using the same SOHO server for emailing, QuickBooks, hosting my website, data storage and anything that I could through at it. When my server crashed I was lost, so much has changed since I installed this server I felt like the end is near “figuratively speaking”. One of my friends had mentioned that he knew a company that excelled in IT system engineering. So after he had a friend call a friend that called me back I was finally able to contact Coltarus Halo, LLC and they gave me their address and told me to bring my server to them, hell they even offered to pick it up if I was busy. After telling them what I had on this server and how important my data was to my business they assured me that they would be able to get me up and running as soon as they could. Calling these professionals “techs” or “Geeks” would be a gross understatement, these pros were able to get my server back up and running in a little under two days fully updated and ready for business with no data loss. Now the moment that we are all waiting for the “Price “when they gave me the bill I was expecting some New York Price tag, but I was shocked to see that the total was in the three digits range. I would have happily played double maybe even triple for my data, after all this is my business I’m talking about. I now use them for all of my IT service and support needs, from computer PC and Mac repair to network and printing. Thank you Coltarus Halo, LLC

On April 2, I was installing updates on my MacBook pro. Unfortunately, I did not remember I had the formula sheet on my Mac for my night class exam. I shut off my computer while the updates where being installed. When I tried to turn back on my mac it did not worked. The wheel at the beginning just kept running without any other results. I try contacting apple care but they were charging me $50 just to listen to my case without assuring me that they will FIX it (none sense). I called Coltarus HALO and they really took care of me. My MacBook pro has a hard drive of 1 TB, which around 700 gb were in used. ALL THE DATA WAS SUCCESFULLY SAVED. Not only they save my data but also they assured that everything was well installed to improve the performance of my computer. During the whole process they used what they call a “ticket” system. This was really good for communicating me the status of my computer.

I always thought that my MacBook Air was incapable of getting a virus until files, that appeared to be Excel files, started to randomly pop up on my desktop. I couldn’t open them, move them or delete them. When I contacted Coltarus about the issue I was informed that all the strange files were being created by a virus. They informed me that this virus will very quickly eat up my hard drive and if it wasn’t stopped my hard drive would crash. Julius from Coltarus was able to instruct me on how to get rid of the virus and within 30 minuets of running the fix my MacBook Air was virus free. I am so glad that I contacted Coltarus about my issue. They knew exactly what my issue was without me going into an in-depth explanation, therefore saving me a lot of time!

I was in the middle of working on several Graduate level projects when my computer got a nasty virus. In a panic, I called a few places for information and quotes, but James at Coltaurs was the only one who had the answers I was looking for. He was able to have my computer ready in a little over a day, and all of my files were recovered. He even suggested a few updates and programs, for free, that would help protect my computer in the future. If you are not all that computer savvy, like myself, they will talk on your level and not over you. The service was fabulous and the price was right! I would recommend these guys to anyone with computer issues or questions.

Coltarus Halo LLC totally saved me during finals! I had my senior critique in front of the entire faculty of my department to determine my graduation from TAMUCC and the brilliant minds behind this company prevented me from going empty handed! They were able to recover and backup all my files and reformatted my 1 Terabyte external hard drive to still be usable! They are extremely friendly and easy to work with; they explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand and gave me options and advice on what was the best action to take. I would HIGHLY recommend the services of this company to anyone!!

During my wonderful 7 day cruise I soon realized that some of the photos I had taken during my trip were corrupted.
