If you are a hard working Houstonian, who sits in soul-crushing traffic to and from your hard days work, then you need to reward yourself with coming home to divinely clean shine and sparkle by MoreHands Cypress. Especially, if you are a parent! Oh. My. Gosh! Im a single mom on a budget. So, if I can do it, you can too! Girl, you know how much your hair and nails cost. Or how fast eating out adds up. At first, I felt very concerned about having a stranger in our home, but knowing they are licensed, bonded, and insured relieved my worries to try them. And, Im so glad I did. No matter what your profession is or how many children you have or dont have, the L-A-S-T thing anyone has time for on a Saturday morning is an uninterrupted 4-8 hours for tidying THEN dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing 3 bathrooms, changing linens, and fluffing bed & couch pillows just right! This is not the 1950’s. We are all busy AF. Worse, our kids are all super busy, too, which means we are pulling swing shifts managing their extracurricular + homework, plus trying to cook most meals at home. So...the first time I came home after a cleaning, I literally, stopped upon entry and felt nostalgic joy. Why? That aromatic wave of clean, fresh perfection hit me and reminded me of my childhood. Remember coming home from school as a kid, when mom or grandma had been home cleaning all day, and maybe even had dinner going?! Well folks, there wasnt dinner--that would be irresponsible to leave the stove going. :) But, there was joy. Each and every time. Over how clean the house is…how shiny the stove, fridge, counters, microwave, floors (even the trash cans), ceiling fans, furniture are. MoreHands Maids is like the spouse you never had and (better yet), never had to divorce. :) Do yourself a favor. Book. a. cleaning. If you sweat every penny like me, cut back on your lunch budget, nails, or waxing, to afford the once or twice a month service. If you cant be hangry or fugly, just cut back on eating out to let 2 magical goddesses possessing the powers of Donna Reed and forces of Mary Poppins polish your cozy house into the crisp and clean home youve WORKED so hard for, all in amazingly efficient time. So you too, can come home (to your house, not ours) and feel like an amazingly organized adult, who is succeeding at adulting. For us, they are a total joy. Now, we just tidy up any legos or odds & ends the night before MoreHands comes out. And, we dont stress about chores all weekend anymore. I no longer feel the very dreaded “mom guilt” for slaying 60-hours at the office, getting to all of my kiddo’s practices & den meetings, helping with homework, cooking meals, volunteering during lunch hours here and there (yay for volunteering with Junior Achievement and Kids Meals!), keeping bills paid, putting away a couple coins in the bank, keeping gas in the tank, putting a little makeup on my face, BUT FAILING—omg—FAILING to dust, vacuum, mop all the rooms in a 2-story house in the SAME morning once or twice a month. Ya feel me?! Now, I am free to get back to relaxing with my family on the weekend, maybe tackling a DIY home project. Because, I don’t feel like I’m skipping the basic chores to…umm…do harder chores. Lol. Because that would be wrong. No, now I feel like I earned my weekend time to put up a shelf, or ride bikes, or hike, amongst the 30 other things that have to get done. Sorry for the long review. I just feel that you need to know, having a cleaning service is much more about reclaiming your time, than having your mess cleaned. As far as the quality, MoreHands has done great work each visit. If you don’t want them to clean a room, I have left a post-it on a closed door (i.e. the play room when there was a large Lego project on the floor). If you want them to vacuum off a bathroom vent, just call the service who will make notes and tell your maid team just how you like it. God bless you. I have never hired a maid service before because Ive always thought of it as a "luxury" item in our household budget and not something I NEED. Ive also been a little apprehensive about letting "strangers" into my home. However, I have many friends who have used this company and gave rave reviews, so we decided to try it out. I am officially HOOKED! We host a huge Christmas party every year at our home and I spend DAYS cleaning and preparing for this party, which stresses me out a lot...and it takes away from time I could be Christmas shopping or doing other important things to prepare for our party. I decided I was going to try MoreHands this past Christmas (2015) and WOW, what a HUGE difference it made for my sanity! I actually had time to go Christmas shopping the day before the party while my house was being cleaned, knowing it was a huge load off my plate. My house was immaculate when I came home and smelled great. I love the extra touches that almost makes you feel like you had a cruise ship maid clean your house...the folded toilet paper on the roll, nicely placed stuffed animals on my childrens beds, etc. I only signed up for 5 cleanings to "try them out" and Ive had two so far. I dont think Im going to be able to quit after the 5th one. Its becoming a NEED for me.

I was a little concerned that they wouldnt be able to fit me into their schedule on short notice but they were very accommodating to our needs. I called and ordered next day services and they were even able to put me in first thing in the morning, which is what I needed. They have teams of two girls and they did an outstanding job! They paid attention to the little things and even lined up our childrens stuffed animals on their tightly made beds. When our boys came home they were delighted to see their babies "waiting" for them on their beds and not just thrown on there or put in a corner. My kitchen sink was even clean and shiny (did not know that was possible!!!)! I would, without a doubt, highly recommend them to anyone!

MoreHands Cypress has cleaned our 3000-square foot home twice now and their team does an amazing job. The maids are thorough and well trained, and the owners are gracious and super professional. The attention to detail is impressive, right down to the folded edge on the toilet paper rolls to the new bags in our little trash cans. Weve had extra services completed as well, including a fridge and oven cleaning, as well as cleaning of baseboards. Highly recommend this company.

How can you give a house a good cleaning with no running water and then charged me to come out the next day when the water was on. NO ONE DECIDED TO CONTACT ME.What type of cleaning company use gallons of water to clean a 14 room house.
