I was sold a new safe in the Spring of 2016 that that can not be opened. I contacted the company and 1. I was loaned a set of allen wrenches and told to fix it myself and return the tools when I was finished. 2. I spent hours on the phone and was told that A1 was not responsible for a new safe that would not open. And that the handle coming off of the safe was not their issue it was my issue and I needed to contact the manufacturer and figure it out myself. 3. I finally got a tech to come out and he said that the installer should never have left a safe in which all of the parts were not securely connected to one another. 4. It opened 2 times after this tech left. 5. It is now 3-4 mo. old and I can not open the safe and get anything out of it. 6. They sent a tech out today and he said that he would not tell me who was in charge of the company and that he was only there to calm me down. I said I do not need to be calmed down and he said that I was being disrespectful. I told him to get out of my house. He speed from the drive and ran over my yard and sprinkler system with his van. 7. This company is the absolute worst in terms of service and product.

UPDATE********** Wonderful experience ! Both Robert and Ken are amazing !! Ken kept me laughing the whole time I was there !!! Thanks you guys :) paid over $100+ for my key to my car, they had to order it and than program my key. Now two months later, my key no longer works. I took it to a nearby locksmith, who checked to make sure it wasnt the batter or that it didnt needed to be reprogrammed again. Neither was the case... I was told the key is bad and to go back where I got it from. I called last week and spoke with a man who told me to come back Saturday so he can take a look at the key, I work Monday-friday and wont make it by the time they close on those days... So he said to stop by Saturday. Saturday comes....the office is closed.. I am surprised since I had a great experience when I was there.... I really dont want to have to pay another $100 + for a key thats is barley new. I have called today and no one picked up.

I placed the order for my Liberty Safe online and the next day Don Bennett called me and confirmed the order and details. He was great to work with. When the safe was ready, they called and scheduled my delivery. The delivery time frame was from 10 - 1. I received a text at 9:08 and they said they would be here in one hour. They arrived 1 hour later. The two guys that delivered the safe (I forgot their names) were super!! Very nice and did a great job. They allowed me to inspect the safe before they brought it in and everything looked great. Once they had it installed, they went over the features and showed me how to program the lock. This was a very good experience and I would for sure recommend A-1 (and Liberty Safes) to anyone.

Horrible experience! Walked up to find the attendant standing outside smoking a cigarette. Greeted him and he simply looked at me without saying anything.I proceeded to explain my problem with my key to him.Due to his lackluster response, I tried to take my key back but when he noticed this he attempted to save face and then render customer service. He quoted me a price and when I asked for clarification, he started giving me one line answers in annoyance and turned his back on me. I walked out puzzled and shocked. Will never patronize again and I came in with the intention to buy. You lost a sale today because of your unfriendly demeanor!

My faith in resourceful, self-reliant folks has been restored! The other day, I had a key that goes in a simple lock on a trailer, and it broke off in the lock. I had only one other key. After going to Walmart & Home Depot, they could not help me because the key blank was not in their "SYSTEM". arrghhhh! But after much searching, googling, word of mouth, I located a guy in a kiosk in a shopping center parking lot. It was an A-1 Locksmith and after I handed him my key, he produced 5 perfect copies in the space of 1.5 minutes!! And his charge was VERY reasonable!

Went to this location in November 2008 to get a dealer key duplicated as it has an immobilizer chip built in. Dealer said it would take 2.5 hrs and $150 bucks! Called up A-1, said they would order the replacement key at no cost to me to try their new software. Had it ready in 2 days, came out on a Saturday morning, hooked up my car to their laptop, and within 10-15mins. my master dealer key was copied for only $60 bucks! Cant beat their service, speed, and prices. Forget the dealer, and go to A-1 - J.T.

I went up to this place and the man was standing outside eating , i then asked the man "how much would it be to get a key made for my 2000 Ford Explorer" and he instantly replies " "$86.68" ... Now my parents have been coming here for years to get keys made and the prices has never been this high.we even had an 2003 Impala key made and the price was way less than that no more than $10 , must be a fool for trying to get money out of me , found a place that did it for $5

I dont live in Dallas and havent had A1 Locksmith do any work for me, but I CAN give a review for the type of people they are. I was traveling through Dallas and popped into their office in Addison to ask a favor. Youd have thought I was their biggest customer! They bent over backwards to help me out. What a God-send that was! These are definitely the kind of folks Id want to give my business to!

This was my second time using A-1 and they were exceptional, in both cases. First on my car ingnition and now on my front door of my new place. Of course I had to wait a bit like you would with any on call locksmith, but seeing as I called a few, A-1 was still able to make it out first as well as not charge double, so its the obvious choice. The locksmith (Andy) was both timely and helpful.

I called so many places to fix my broken car key and all i was getting was $60, $80, $140, etc. By the time I called A1 I had a huge lump in my throat! Then Ken told me it would be anywhere from $5-$20! I could have LITERALLY shouted with joy! THANK YOU SO MUCH A1 for providing a neccessary service and not abusing that power!! Your awesome!

Ryan called about 20 min. before he arrived which gave me a chance to get the dog outside so as not to bother him. He was able to figure out the problem immediately. He quoted the price and took care of the problem efficently. We were very pleased with the service and will call A-1 again if we have other problems.

Called them told me it would be 2 hours till someone could come help me with my car. Lost my keys. Called to ask why it was taking so long no answer. On top of that no one ever showed up. Terrible 1st time experience. Update: Called next day and told me technician had medical emergency.
