In the past 18 months or so, Ive had to replace two radios in my Camry. The second, SHOULD have been covered by a warranty, except that it turned out that the problem was caused by water getting to the radio. I was perplexed, but last week, I realized that it could be getting under my windshield, as it looked to me that the plastic (or what I thought was caulking) at the base of the windshied was breaking down. So this morning, I took the car to Deep Ellum Auto Glass. I came away impressed. These guys took the time to carefully check my windshield, including testing it for leaks, removing the piece I THOUGHT was the caulk (turns out its a piece of plastic that serves other functions, but is not the seal I thought it was.) Then they turned to my sunroof, much to my confusion. They showed me a sunroof theyd recently had to replace, and told me that if there is water either leaking, or that gets in through the sunroof, there is a "tray" that is designed to capture that, and carry it to one of four drain tubes. They suspect that one of my drain tubes was blocked. They tested, and one was, so they fixed it. These guys spent 30-45 minutes doing this. When done, I asked them what I owed them, and they said nothing. I tried several times to pay them for their time, but they insisted the "fix" was easy for them, and just not a big deal. It is rare to find businesses who treat folks like this. They are good guys, who know what they are doing. I hope I never need a new window in a car. But if I ever do, Deep Ellum Auto Glass will get my businesses, because I now know: they know their stuff, and they treat people right.

After talking over the phone with different windshield replacement companies, I called Deep Ellum Auto Glass and the owner, Randy Merrill, answered the phone and gave me a quote to replace the windshield in an automobile that had its windshield shattered by a hailstorm. Randy was extremely nice and quoted me the price. I hung up the phone and thought about it for a minute. Then decided to call him back and ask him if that included the moulding and tax since some of the previous quotes started out with a low price and then ended up with a higher price after the moulding and tax was disclosed. Anyway, Randy said that his price was all inclusive and was again extremely nice, knowledgeable and patient with me during my second call to him. Randy definitely has my business now and in the future any time I need a glass repair or replacement! I really look forward dealing with him and there is no doubt in my mind that he is the go-to guy in the Dallas Metroplex any time you have a need for auto glass. Its very important to deal with the right glass company, one that will stand behind its work and install the glass properly and not shortcut, give a cheap price just to get the job, and then not stand behind it if there are any future problems with the installation. There are a lot of fly-by-night companies in this business, I am afraid. See for yourself what Im talking about and give Randy a call. I think you will be very glad that you did. I sure am glad I did!

First of all i ordered a mirror for my truck , they said i needed $100 deposit, then they took $200 out of my account which is the whole cost of repair. The problem is they didnt do the repair work and they took the whole amount out. Then i called them after three days from when the part was suppose to be ordered. The owner Robert tells me they will be out to put the mirror on......hours went by i didnt get a phone call nor they let me know what was going on about the repair service that day. So i called them back they got an attitude with me about me asking why they didnt give me a call to let me know something about my mirror that i ordered. I received my refund and i was inconvenience for a week still dont have my mirror fixed. You guys communication is terrible......and need to be more professional..........

I have just went to this shop and received horrible service. I had a tiny rock chip and I asked the gentleman if he was able to repair it as seen on their website. He proceeded to tell me yes and charged me and left my car in EXACT same state it was in when I arrived. When I asked him his answer was "well not all cars are gonna come out the same"So should I not have been told this when I first asked if he could fix it?!? What was I paying for exactly???? He refused to refund my money and didnt want to hear anything I had to say. Dont go here unless you are just paying to sit in a chair for 10 minutes while they do absolutely nothing to your car and charge you for it. Its not a chip repair if it is still chipped when I leave.

AMAZING SERVICE! After calling around to around 10-12 different places to get quotes on my broken window, I called them and they had one of the best quotes, were extremely professional, and quick! The service tech came to my house and even called before arriving to see where the truck was, and where he needed to go. He was super professional, took maybe thirty minutes to fix, and the window looks amazing! I would recommend them to ANYONE!!! And if I ever need to replace another window you better believe they are going to be the first (and ONLY) people I call!!! Thanks for the great service Deep Ellum Auto Glass!

First of all, they are no longer in Deep Ellum. They are located 30 minutes south. I originally chose them becausei figured it would be a quick, local job. I called and gave my requests of factory glass with no features. They sent a guy out, showed up late to the 2 hour window. He did not even have the glass. They had never heard of a windshield by Lexus without any features so they assumed I was wrong. I told them 3 times that there was no features. They send someone out again, they were late again, and they were unprepared. I decided after wasting 2 days or making my car available that I would go elsewhere.

Very friendly and told me up front that I wouldnt be happy with an attempted repair (which I expected they would not be able to do). The gave me an accurate quote and were right on time even when I had to move the appointment. Price was good, repair was fast in the parking lot of my office and repair tech was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. What more could you ask for.

Have been trying to find someone to do my 56 belair glass for quite some time. Either didnt trust people or they were super expensive. Robert at Deep Ellum put all my concerns at ease and did a great job. Price was good and he was able to do it at an auto swap meet over the course of a couple days for me. Will definitely bring all future cars to him.
