Having never used movers before, I was hesitant and not quite sure what to expect. I had heard horror stories of other companies, but the crew from Brown Box was amazing! If we ever move again, they are the only company I will use. They were fast, friendly, efficient, and showed up exactly on time. When I called to schedule our move, I was given an estimate of how much time it would take to pack up our apartment, drive the 60 miles to our new house, and unpack. Their estimate was exactly right! The driver even knew of a shortcut to get around the traffic and construction on 35-W. He almost beat me to the new house and saved us precious time and money. The whole crew treated our items with care and attention. They properly wrapped the furniture and glass items, and packed the truck so well that nothing was broken or scratched. They unloaded the truck quickly, and all our boxes and furniture ended up in the correct rooms. I could not be happier with their service. Seriously, if youve hired movers before, but been disappointed, or if youve never hired movers and arent sure if theyre worth the money -- HIRE BROWN BOX MOVERS!! They are worth every penny. They made our move so fast, easy, and stress-free that I almost cant wait to move again. Almost.

Everyone dreads moving but Brown Box Movers became my "partner" and made the process so much better. I needed help packing a 3800 square foot home and sizing down to a 1317 square foot apartment. BB Movers is one-stop shopping. First, Stephen and two helpers carefully packed the items for the apartment and those selected for storage. Fast, efficient, courteous, professional and thoughtful are the words I would use to describe that part of the service. The next day was moving day. Bert joined Stephen and two others to get my stuff to two different places. Long day, but I had some important antique furniture to transport. The process was truly "White Glove" service with everything arriving in great condition. They were patient with me too when I changed my mind on furniture placement---even the heavy stuff. BTW, unlike so many moving companies, Brown Box has an exceptional move coordinator with Lindsey. I was a bit last-minute, but she gave accurate estimates and was available even in off-hours to answer my questions. Now, I have a storage unit with Brown Box, and sometime in the next six-twelve months, I will be calling them again. Believe it or not, I will look forward to the process. Great company. Highly recommend.

Brown Box movers moved my husband, daughter, and me from Denton to Houston. Not only did they do an excellent job in setting up the move before the date, they were very efficient and professional throughout the entire move. The first thing I noticed about this company was they were willing to move us for 1/2 the price of their competitors! This long distance move would have been a lot more expensive had they not had great reviews! And they definitely lived up to their reviews! Sometimes a mistake needs to be made in order to know how great a company is. At one point we realized that an item had been left behind (this was our fault as we added additional items last minute that was not on their original list).The movers were already in Dallas (~40 minutes away). One of the guys that was in Denton, took the item in his own truck and met his team to make sure this item was delivered. We were so thankful and impressed that he did this for us! The guys also took apart all of the items that needed to be broken down, wrapped each item, delivered the items in perfect condition, and put together all of the items. We are so thankful that we found this company and will definitely be using them again.

The movers were very polite, showed up on time and moved me out of my apartment and into my new home. I feel like they moved a little fast, however. What I mean is they didnt take as much care with my stuff as I wouldve liked. This was evidenced by one of the movers moving a bookcase by himself. The bookcase slipped off the dolly and he couldnt catch it by himself and it shattered. The bookcase was not a valuable heirloom, by any means, but the cost of my move was only adjusted by $14. I paid a lot more for it when I bought it. Another mover was moving a dresser, which is a family heirloom out of my closet and onto the truck, he must have hit the door frame and chipped a piece of wood off of a back leg. I didnt notice it until later. The damage to the dresser isnt that noticable, so I didnt make a big deal of it. I just feel like if they had slowed down a bit and maybe if they had both helped move bigger items, everything wouldve been moved with no damage. As I said, both were very polite, the mover who was moving the bookcase when it fell off the dolly was very apologetic. I just cant say if Ill go with Brown Box again, in the future.

After a disastrous experience with a mover who basically refused to complete his contract and take me for several thousand dollars, I needed to retrieve a very heavy safe from my storage facility that could not be taken by the movers whom my mover sub-contracted to (a 4 man job, the sub-contractor sent 3...). I contacted Brown Box Movers and was hoping to get the safe job done and get some unpacking help in the next few days. The three men showed up and muscled the safe fairly easily (its HEAVY) and drove to my new residence. After unloading it, the crew started moving boxes inside and unpack. They did a fantastic job and I kept asking if I could add another service: take the junk. For a small fee, they did just that. WELL WORTH IT. I got rid of things I knew Id have to either transport myself or get someone else to pick it up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BROWN BOX MOVERS. Courteous, hard working and polite and in my opinion a bargain for what I had them do.

I just got most of my furniture and miscellany moved from several storage units by Bert and his crew. They arrived on time, kept me posted, and worked very hard. My stuff had been in the storage units for years, so things were extremely dusty, but they handled it without problems. NO DAMAGE! I used to move a lot in Corporate America, and we always said "4 moves is the same damage as 1 fire," but not in this case. They are coming back tomorrow for the rest of my stuff, and I know it will go well. Oh the price was great, too! I highly recommend Brown Box Movers. Since I cant figure out how to get Google to let me do a second review, Ill just say that the second day went as well as the first. This is the first move I have ever had with no damage, and this is my 14th move! Bert, Adams, and Justus did a great job and worked very hard in the 100 degree heat. Thank you guys for a great experience.

My brother and his wife just moved and hired Brown Box Movers. What a great decision! I have never seen a more professional, polite, hard working, group of young men! Bert and his entire crew - sorry guys, I dont remember your names, but I remember that each of your parents did a great job, because all 7 young men (including Bert :)) exhibited the level of respect for others that we do not often see today. To say I was impressed, is an understatement. My brothers wife is recouping from a serious illness, so I was on hand to help and witnessed their work ethic from the time they arrived to load the old house, until they completed moving everything into the new house. They ended the day by each shaking our hands and thanking us for the business. If you need a mover, Brown Box Movers is the only number you need to call!
