Would give zero if I could! Booked a move for today 7/29/17 a 12-5 spot its now 5:45pm! No one called me with a courtesy call that the movers will be late are even mentioned to me that they would be late after I called at 2pm to get an estimate of when they would be here. Finally call back again at 5 since that still had not shown up! Now theyll be here at 7pm! My whole day is gone an ruin over this sorry company! 7pm really when I paid for them to be here no later than 5pm! Dont bother with this company if you really trying to get anything done on move day! Theyll waste your time! They about to give me my money back an Ill do this myself! Sorry moving company!!! Avoid at all cost dont book are give these people your money! Update: My movers never did show up on Saturday 7/29/17 I last called them a little while before seven to inquire about their whereabouts! The guy that answered the phone was still just saying they are on the way we are up next! Right after 7pm when the office closed the driver called an said they could be to us by 9pm but hed rather start on us first in the morning an wouldnt come that night! It was already way to late at night to book another company so I really had no choice but wait! They completely screwed off my entire move day because they never showed that day. The next morning Sunday 7/30/17 I get up first thing call them at 8am the lady on the phone says yes yes you are scheduled first this morning the drivers are on the way to you now an should get there no later than 10am since they are coming from Irving to Carrollton! Which it doesnt take that damn long to get to Carrollton from Irving! Either way they were suppose to be there no later than 10am still agajn was late! Didnt arrive until 11am! Once the two guys arrived they did get everything moved from the apartment to the new place within the time frame booked. They exactly finished an hour early of the four hour slot I booked! All in all they didnt show when they should have I moved the majority of the boxes in my car in Saturday making trip after trip when my movers should have been there! My family slept on the floor because we had no beds at our new apartment because that had already been dismantled for moving! This company is completely incompetent an unprofessional! They overbook and dont show! The lil guys that finally showed up did work hard to get the job done so I still gave them both a small tip! But as unhappy as I was with their company I damn sure hadnt plan to. Exspecially after paying $426 for a 4hr 12-5 slot on Saturday an not have my movers show up until 11am Sunday! I most definitely wont book this company again!

Just wanted to share my experience: I did got a call at 5:30pm from a sales rep the day before the move to confirm my move. I missed the call, but called back immediately. When I called back, I was on hold for 10 minutes and assumed no one would pick up because it was the evening. I called back at 8:30 am the morning of the move to confirm. Not having any idea what the deadline was to confirm, I felt pretty good about calling so early, since my move was so late in the day. The lady who I spoke with told me that everything was still scheduled. I know now that she did not take ANY steps to confirm my move, which is why it ended up getting canceled. Apparently no one was notified that I called to confirm! Obviously they need confirmation, and I understand that. But they should have voiced their internal deadline for confirming, and if that deadline isnt met, tell the customer! How much extra manpower would 1 phone call be that says "This call is to let you know that your move has been canceled because you did not confirm in time. If this is in error, call blah blah blah to confirm" or something like that? At about 7pm, I started to get concerned, so I called and was directed to Glenn at the service department. He was as helpful as he could be, and I could tell that he regretted what he had to tell me, but after some research he informed me that MY MOVE HAD BEEN CANCELED! And they couldnt get anyone to add my move to their schedule. The house that I was living in was being sold, and the next day was closing, so obviously this was a nightmare! This also left me no time to get any friends together to help, because I had been telling them that I didnt need help. I was able to find movers on Craigslist at the absolute last minute, but that doesnt change the complete lack of communication and accountability by the Apartment Movers. My girlfriend used to work for you guys, and she was warning me the whole time that this was not going to go well. I thought she was letting a bad working experience cloud her judgment, and that all moving companies have good and bad associated with them. But, other than driving away with someones stuff, standing someone up the day before they HAVE to be out of their house is pretty much the worst thing a moving company can do. I should have listened to my girlfriend.

A NIGHTMARE!!! Theres a moving company I was going to use called Ameritex Movers to help me move out of my apartment. I talked to this guy Greg and set up the details with him who was friendly and explained that there would be "two of their most handsome guys" coming to help me move and would charge $85/hr (min. 2hrs) +$40 for driving. They were price matching another company I looked into. I would the guys would arrive within the 11am-3pm window to help me move and would call 30 mins before their arrival. I called at 1:30 to check the status since I needed to be out of my apartment by 6:00 (close of business day) to get my full deposit. Ameritex Movers simply told me that I have a window between 11am-3pm.. I called at 3:30 since I hadnt received a call back regarding a delay or an update. I was put on hold and told that the guys would be there in 2 more hrs. I told them that was unacceptable and asked for a manager. The manager was at lunch at 3:00pm and stated I would get a call back. I called at 5:30pm asked to speak to a manager and talked to someone who mightve been 14yrs old saying that she would go "above and beyond" by offering me a 10% discount -put me on hold and then offers a 5% discount?! Confused on what their definition of "above and beyond" was I was transferred from the manager to Greg again. I explained to Greg that Im not sure why I was transferred to him when I was already speaking to the "manager" who never gave me her name. Greg would restate what the manager said and finally offered to cancel my move completely. 100% blown away by this whole experience and how unorganized it is. #AmeritexMovers #BadBusiness #Warning

DONT USE THIS COMPANY. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They gave me an arrival window of 12pm-5pm. The lady told me it would probably be around 3pm. Then someone called me around 3pm saying it would be around 3:30pm. At 4pm, the actual mover called me and said 6pm. It is now 6:35pm and no one has called or is answering the phone. Good thing I scheduled this a week from when I actually had to be out of my place...They have wasted my entire day, though. UPDATE: They FINALLY arrived to my house at 8 PM. After multiple calls and promises of "just 30 minutes away". This company is very unprofessional and a waste of money. Seriously, save yourself the headache. I was the one that had to call them to find out where they were. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! UPDATE #2(3/28/17): I called to speak with a Manager and was directed to Frank. He is the rudest person to deal with. I explained to him everything that happened and how since the movers got to me so late, they were not able to complete the work (my fridge needed to be moved, maintainence was unavailable because of the late hours). My washer and dryer are currently sitting in my living room. He was patronizing and made it seem like my complaints were unreasonable. He told me that I did not need to include him in my issue (WHAT?!). He was very unapologetic and rude as if I was in the wrong. I asked to speak to someone that could make the decision to help me. He kept telling me that I was wrong. Franks customer service skills are terrible. I was told by another worker to talk to Nils Johnson. So we shall see how that goes this afternoon.
