Seems like Pep Boys Have there favs. Why in the HELL is the licensed dude that can do inspections working on a car in the first place dumb and dumber could be out in the shop working on the car. And then on top of that dummy is mixing personal interest with work. Come on fly boy youre going to hurt someone one day. You would have been TERMINATED ON THE SPOT. Hope you have a ride home if not call youre new girl and she if shell give you a ride home. Everyone in that place needs to be fired. And needs new management. PERIOD. The Facebook dude HELL TO DA NO What kinda TERMINATED ON THE SPOT. .... Girl you should have pressed some kinda charges. Why would I take my car back to a place that supposedly fixed my car and I still have oil leaks and charged me. You right that is some BS. And $800 and $900 to fix a car get the Ehhff outta here wow. Thats not the logo Pep Boys Well fix everything for less. Like really, and you didnt even do anything right to the car. What did you do let the car sit in the shop try and tighten down bolts that couldnt be tighten down. And then call the owner back and said come get your car its ready. Cause thats what it sounds like. I will name you Screw Ball. And I guess Ill call the short attitudie bald headed guy Q Ball. And as far as i know, if their is a advertisement going on and they say " If your check engine light is on well check it for free" I think that has been going on for years not just about every spring/summer. I see more complaints on here then any thing. Iam so glad I did my review for Pep Boys in Denton Cause it is the closest one to me. My Check engine light is on. Im not taking my car there. NOPE NOPE NOPE. I will Never Take my car there. Ill keep doing my research. And as for the YouTube Girl. Smart girl. Thats how I fix things as well. From home to DoITYourSelf.

Took my car to pepboys instead of my usual garage because I was hoping for a less than 24 hour turn around time. Boy was I wrong. Took me three days to get my car fixed and I was charged double the amount it should have been! They attempted to charge me triple, but I refused to let them. Simple sway bar and link replacement, right? Well they couldnt order the right parts so I had to wait three days to only get my sway bar replaced. Despite the original quote, they wanted to charge me 300$ more for the links! Finally, they told me that the bushings and links were fine and I just needed the sway bar replacement. What a load of crap! Two weeks later I decide to do the link replacement myself only to find that they never even removed the bushings to look at them! The bushings they swore would be fine, were extremely damaged. I also had them do a state inspection where they told me my ebrake had to be repaired and they would charge nearly 500$ for the privilege. I told them no. And then they waited nearly two hours for them to put my car back together. To make it worse the alignment they did was crap! And they did it twice. The first time they lied to me and said they accidentally got rust in the rotars. Had them fix it, only to find I was having the same terrible grinding noise. Took it to the only garage I will ever take my car to (Young Guns auto in Sanger.) They repaired my alignment, informing me that it was done wrong and they repaired my ebrake for half the price pep boys wanted. These guys are crooks.

If I could I give this place 0 stars. They provide terrible service and are so extremely rude! I moved here for school from El Paso, TX and I was a very committed Pep Boys customer (I had the card and all) and it almost breaks my heart to not get my repairs done at a Pep Boys. Im a female and so I guess that the men at this car shop feel like I dont know what Im talking about let alone what they are talking about so almost ignore me. They provide no help or advice and wait for you to speak up and say exactly what you do and do not want them to do. They offer the most pricey option first of a whole engine check where all I wanted was for my Check Engine light to be coded. When they finally got around to doing that they wrote it down on the back of a Pep Boys card and went on to their next thing, not even caring to tell me what the code meant. Luckily, the internet exists. It sure is more reliable than Pep Boys. I was planning on going to get my state inspection, oil change, and coolant flushed there but wanted to have nothing to do with those rude and unhelpful people and took my service somewhere else (which I was MUCH happier with). Thanks for nothing Pep Boys! I definitely wont be going to you anymore. I can thank you for one thing. Saving me tons of money by just looking online and watching YouTube videos showing me how to do my basic repairs.

Where do I even begin.... I normally go to Goodyear for my tire needs, but I just needed a bolt & lug nut replaced & decided to go to Pep Boys since I was in that area. I really regret that decision now. Not only did it take hours for them to replace the bolt, they ordered the wrong part THREE times! Fast forward to a few months later - Im getting my oil changed & tires rotated at Goodyear where I usually go & they asked me where I got my right rear tire worked on because not only is one of the bolts broken (again) but all four of my lug-nuts were the wrong size. I called Pep Boys & set up a tow truck to pick up my car from Goodyear since it was deemed unsafe to drive at that point with only two good lug-nut. Instead of ordering the part that Goodyear told them I needed, Pep Boys decided to wait until the tow truck dropped off my car 2 hours later, plus 2 more hours before they even looked at my car to order the part. Since they waited so long to order the part, I am now car-less until the next day when they can get the part delivered. I will never return to Pep Boys for anything - ever. I would rather push my car to the next car repair shop than go to Pep Boys. Horrible experience. The only reason Pep Boys is getting one star from me is because they are repairing my car free of charge since they screwed up the first time.

08/26/2012 All I wanted was an inspection sticker. Two employees, appear to be mechanics by the uniform and grease, greet me in the auto shop lobby. I state that I want a car inspected. Response: “Cant be done right now the only guy licensed just started working on a car.”. When can I have an inspection done? Response: “Dont know!”. Can I schedule a time? Response: “Not really, if your not here I cant promise you anything.”. As I am asking these questions I notice a third Pep Boys uniformed guy just outside the bay doors with his elbows in the driver side of a car talking to a girl. Can I leave you my number and when a time is available call me? Response: “Yes.”. I am still waiting on that phone call. If the two guys that greeted me are not licensed to do inspections why cant one of them work on the car and free the guy who is licensed? The presentation was if there is only one guy in the shop qualified to do anything. This places is grossly mismanaged by a bunch of idiots. I have had this car inspected 3 times at this location (Denton Texas), each time with a wrath of BS! I am done with Pep Boys and think they should be renamed “Excuse Boys”, Does everything less.
