Typically I am not the one to leave a review if my experience is not the greatest but this is the first time I am. No I am not a person disgruntled and wanting to be negative and vent but when you read this review you will understand why. It was recommended to me to take my car to just breaks to get an issue with a shrilling noise fixed. They diagnosed my car and I decided to get the breaks done and I would return to get all my rotors replaced (a job over 1000.00 in which I found would be cheaper going to a mechanic that specializes in my model car). I took the car home and unbeknowst to me the mechanic forgot to bolt down some parts leaving me with virtually no breaks. While getting on 820 on Monday the parts came a loose and I had ran into traffic. I had to literally slam on my breaks and try to stop the car from 60 mph to 0 mph in normal stopping distance because I did not know my breaks were done. 0 break fluid (it all leaked out). I almost crashed into the back of the person in front of me and the person behind me avoided me by swearving left while attempting to change lanes and abruptly stopping. So I call Nathanel (manager) and told him something is wrong. I knew they were closing and told him I am in traffic but could not make it. He never offered to stay over and basically said bring it the next day since he could not diagnose the issue. I couldnt drive it cause mind you I have no working breaks or fluid. He did have my car towed to the shop and we simply asked for our money back because not only did I lose time but also missed some engagements planned that day due to the negligence of the mechanic. We were first offered two oil changes but we declined and just wanted our money back. At this point they feel they have fulfilled their obligation. They had no choice but to fix it because it wasnt working. If you have had a wonderful experience with this place kudos to you but now I understand why people avoid places like this. If you are reading this...just proceed with caution. As I was sitting in the lobby I was courteous enough not to discuss the matter in front of the customers when asked what was wrong with my vehicle because I never want to taint another persons experience, however, two out of the three customers there mentioned they will go back to their normal mechanic and not return. Trust me youll want to do the same. By the way, they are merging and changing over to Pep boys. Just remember the location.

The people that work there should never be allowed to touch a car. I came in with squeaky brakes....figured my pads were worn. So they took the front wheels off and showed me my pads were still good and the slides were sticking....ok. So they said they needed to grease the slides but since it was gonna mean they had to take everything apart then I might as we change my pads. So I said thats fine. So they charged me 250$ to put on new pads, grease the slides and change the fluid..... before I got home they were squeaking. Went back and told me that the grease must have been washed off the slides from the rain. Ok. So they regressed them and said it was fixed. They were squeaking before I got home again. Went back a third time and they said they were just gonna redo everything....ok. So the guy comes in and tells me I shuda changed my pads the first time since they have heat cracks in them from the slide sticking.....REALLY!!!! I paid for that the first time but apparently they never put new pads on. I tell the guy this and he said I told them to keep the old pads on. I told him thats bullshit....why wud they charge me for them if I said that? So they finish whatever bullshit they said they were doing and bring my truck out. He tells me they put new pads on and greased the slides again and if that doesnt fix it then they dont know wats wrong with it and if I need to come back then I can always go to any just brakes I dont have to go to that one. I guess he just wanted to put me off on somebody else cause I caught them taking my money and not doing any work that I paid for. So Ive given up on them now. Its obvious theyre not going to fix it and just try and steal more money from me. These people are gonna spend more time working on their own cars then their customers and spend their time up selling you things u dont need instead of fixing the problem that you have. My truck still hasnt been fixed cause they took the money I set aside for it and the problem is getting worse. One day their lack of any sort of ethical behavior is gonna get somebody killed because they blew off every problem customers came in with and took their money and sent them off with a car they said was fixed wen it wasnt. Hopefully that person is not you. These people shud be shut down and never allowed to touch another vehicle. I hope everyone stays away from this place.

I stopped in because I had air escaping when I pressed my brake pedal. Tech named Anthony told me the issue right off, which was that I needed a new power brake booster. He then called around to price out the part, and advised me that the price for the part would be $170...and that they were the only ones with it in stock at their warehouse in Seagoville, the job would take the better part of a day, and that Id be looking at $360+tax for them to do it....ridiculous! Told him thanks for his time, and went home to check around online......its a $100 part, stocked at OReillys/Auto Zone/Pepboys with the master cylinder included, and it doesnt take long to install at all. I took my car over to a local mechanic, and to put the price & time into perspective....he replaced my brake booster, master cylinder, carburetor, and ran new vacuum lines......didnt take him 5 hours....charged me $362. While this place may diagnose your vehicle correctly, they try and gaffle you if you dont know what to look for, or are too desparate to look around. Im hesitant to call them crooks, but theyre certainly not the most honest shop around.

If you are going to go here,"Dont wait in the waiting room." WATCH THEM take your wheels and breaks off. There is no way to tell if they are showing you your breaks or some from an old bucket. I knew it was time for new breaks, but then they showed me all these other problems and honestly my car had no symptoms. They told me I needed new break fluid and I had that changed less than a year ago. The thing I really dont understand is how my oil cap was soaked in melted chocolet like oil when I change it religiously at 3K miles, but really any time I have ever taken the cap off there usually isnt much oil on it at all. I told these guys to put it all back and went to the dealer who charged me less, did quality work and only did the nessissary work. I told my story to at work and another guy got hit for even more money than they quoted me. Posted my story on facebook and a friend told me her story back about these people. Really the BBB, 20/20 or just someone needs to stop these guys, they are parasites.
