I went in for an oil change. They told me that my rear brakes were so bad that they were almost metal on metal. Considering that I got new ceramic brake pads just a year ago, I found that unlikely, but went to the dealership where I got the brake pads done to investigate. The dealership said that my rear brakes were almost perfect. City Garage also told me that my coolant level was low. I asked the dealership to check that as well, and they said my coolant level was fine. Similar things happened the last time I went to City Garage as well. They gave me a list of maintenance items that needed to be done, totaling several hundred dollars. I went to my dealership for a second opinion, and they disagreed with all of it, but pointed out a brake light that was out, a dirty cabin filter, and very worn windshield wipers, all of which City Garage failed to notice. I took my car home and my husband verified and fixed all of those issues. City Garage employees are always very nice and polite, but I have lost all trust in their car maintenance/repair recommendations. I realize that people make mistakes, but the amount of unnecessary things that are recommended makes me suspicious. I dont plan to go back to City Garage.

So this morning as I was backing out of my parking spot, I hit a red pole and damaged my white truck. Things were falling off everywhere, and lets not mention the terrible red marks the pole left all over my white truck. I immediately panicked and I googled the nearest repair shop. City Garage was only 3 miles away so I rushed over without reading a single review. When I walked in I told the guy at the front desk what happened. He stated that they typically dont so body work, but they will try to put the pieces back together. They were so kind and efficient. Most places would of said "we dont do that" and sent me on my way. 30 minutes later, my car was fully repaired. They even buffered out the red marks! Im so glad I came to City Garage. I will definitely be back and I recommend you guys try them out as well. The best part... They didnt charge me a penny!

Took my suzuki grand vitara on 19th August 2017 and ask for wheel balancing and or alignment and the attendants there stated that they do not work on certain foreign cars because they dont have the parts! Showed me some policy documents to confirm to me that my car is listed under this policy. I was really surprised that any shop out there can do alignment and wheel balancing and wasnt sure if their policy made any sense. What parts do you need for wheel balancing and alignment that you cant source locally? I requested a copy of the policy to comfirm with their central management and he stated that he cannot give me a copy "it is what it is" with attitude. so for all you suzuki owners, avoid this place and dont waste your time. Very unprofessional staff with a dont care attitude. Horrible customer service.

First off these people are very very nice.... but Im changing my review, I took my truck in a few months ago to get my U joints checked and they said they took apart the truck and checked it all and nothing was wrong... Well few months later my truck is still having the problem and consecutively had been getting worse and worse. Took my truck into innovative automotive to change my clutch out and they called saying my U joints were about to bust off and my drive shaft was about to fall..... they took videos and sent it to me... I wish I could post here. They are really bad and I had a hunch a few months ago they were shot but was told otherwise. Customer service awesome - maybe this was a fluke, but I wont be going back. Put my life and my familys at risk everytime I drove down the highway.

If you go here youll see Martins professionalism is Superb! Even though you dont get much interaction with the car technicians, theyre character traits mirror that of the office & management team. My trucks windows were shattered and I couldnt make it to pick up my vehicle that day. The following morning a big thunderstorm rolled through and the guys used one of their car ports to park my truck in the building so the inside wouldnt get soaked. I Definetly didnt expect anything like that. Thats above and beyond customer care. Like others habe said too, they fix what needs to be done and if its not in your budget theyll help you outline what should get done and then what can be scheduled to get done come next payday.

Ive always been hesitant to take my car in for repairs. There are horror stories about mechanics taking advantage of customers. When my air conditioner stopped working a friend suggested City Garage. I took it to them on a Saturday, they checked it out and called me with the repair estimate. I asked if I needed to return on Monday with my car and they said no, we can repair it for you this afternoon. They made the repair and I felt they charged me a fair price for the work done. My air conditioner has been icy cold and probably the thing that made me feel very secure with City is, they warranted their work for not 90 days, but for a full 2 years or 24,000 miles. I finally found an automotive garage I can trust.

Martins professionalism and great customer service encouraged me to share this 5 star rating. More importantly, his honesty is what I found most refreshing.. Initially I was told Id be charged over $650 for labor and 3 parts.. He called to tell me that after replacing one part... The other 2 werent needed.. This saved me about $300. I was stranded, trying to make it home to Austin after a Thanksgiving visit and this took some stress away. This place does great work and I knew from the beginning that I could trust them.. Keep it up guys, very welcoming and trustworthy.. Its nice to know I can count on you should I need repairs in Dfw again.. Thanks for taking care of me.

Mixed review. Guys seem to be able to fix the targeted broken item but I had just had the vehicle serviced about three weeks before they replaced my alternator and they are supposed to check fluid levels like coolant, p.s. fluid, brake fluid. Checking on my own, all these items were low and I had to top them off myself. So Im really questioning their claim of checking these items. This is however, easily missed and have gone there for years and have had good experience with them. Am 44 years as aircraft mechanic and cant do what I used to so I take it to them. Am very particular about anyone touching my car and am not easily duped with B.S.

Our car had some serious problems. After getting about a $3000 quote from three different car places, the staff at City Garage were not only able to get the job done for half of what it would have cost me, they were fast and did the job right. Highly recommend them! I also appreciate their professionalism and that they were able to both show and tell me what was wrong with my car and what needed to be done to get it running right. They did not try to sell me on things that I did not need. I also liked that the place was clean.
