I go in wanting a cut & a simple bayalage color done. First, bayalage isnt supposed to touch scalp, all the ones I have seen are from mid shaft down, which are the pictures I showed. first time Maribel put the blonde in my hair, it wasnt as bright. So I texted her and we picked a date and time to fix it. I showed her yet another picture of how bright I wanted it she said ok and sat me down and started doing it. Never once telling me if it was REALLY possible, being shes already dyed my hair with the blonde before so she knows how my hair is handling it and shouldve been able to tell me if it was even gonna be possible (btw, she never told me from the GETGO that it would take multiple session sessions either) so she puts the dye in my hair and sets me under the dryer. Meanwhile, theres a child back there jumping all over the seats, screaming and found out its one of the stylists children.. So she washes my hair and gets the dye out and says it worked Im like cool so we go back to the chair and I look at the mirror and Im not seeing any of the bright blonde that I wanted. She continued to style it and blow dried it and grabbed a straightener to use it to put curls in but I could see the look on her face - the curls werent staying bc my hair was fried. The whole time shes moving me in the chair and Im not able to take a look at what was done. And once she was done (aka didnt wanna do it anymore) said ok youre done whipped the cape off of me and rushed me out the door bc I was there from 5:00 until after hours - so she was pretty much not caring. So I get in the car and my bangs were hideous and had a slight green tint to them. Went home and realized underneath the crown theres blonde from scalp to the ends.... And blonde all around my hair. first thing my boyfriend said was ... Strawberry blonde? Its hideous! I hated it. Put a mask on even though she didnt advise me to and realized in the shower my hair was completely fried and theres a spot in the back where she curled it a straightener to hide the fact that spot was MATTED. And when washing my hair, theres literally burning coming from my scalp, BURNING. Contacted stylist, she gave me a lame excuse. Contacted manager no help bc theyre independent stylists. The only thing she was willing to do was refund me $50 I paid her as a tip ...almost $200 and I hate my hair. I have to go to yet ANOTHER salon and get a PIXIE cut and lose a lot of my dead ends but still have a lot of the ugly brassy, greenish tint blonde and continue with my moisture masks and wait a couple of weeks to a month to dye my hair to my natural color or something close. Waste of time. Waste of money. Poor customer service. No one willing to step up and help me. Just giving me poor stupid excuses and literally forcing me to go to another salon. Youre better off going else where. PLUS IT WAS A 40 minutes drive from where I live. so not only am I out of the the $135, but Im out of the $40 + from the deep conditioning mask and another $40 to get my hair cut and thats not adding in the dye Ill have to pay when coloring my hair to get it back to normal. So from my experience, enter and come at your own risk.

I went to Cloud 9 last weekend for a morning of services. It was overall a wonderful, relaxing experience, and I will definitely go back. The atmosphere is sort of Mediterranean, and the stalls where the stylists are located are sectioned off in a way that makes them more private (four stylists together, max), so I didnt feel like I was on display while getting my hair done. My morning started with a massage with Gina McIntire, which was the perfect balance between deep tissue where needed, lighter more relaxing pressure where I didnt have knots. Often, you either get too much pressure to the point it is not relaxing, or so little pressure that it is relaxing but ineffective - Gina found the perfect happy median between the two. Gina was very friendly and I hope to make seeing her a more regular thing! Next I went to Destiny for a full highlight and haircut. Im very happy with the result, a style which I can wear straightened or naturally curly (often a challenge for stylists in my experience). My husband loves it, so win-win. Im so happy to have found someone to go to regularly for my hair, as previous reviewers mentioned, this can be a tough task! My last stop was a brow wax, and heres where I have to ding them just a bit. Delma did my brow wax, and after I paid she gave me her card, which mentions nothing about esthetician (says hair stylist/colorist only). She was actually in the middle of a hair cut and stopped it to do my brows, Im wondering how her other client felt about that. Long story short, she took off way too much brow, leaving a not-so-natural look, and the worst part is, she didnt have the wax at the right temp so she burned the skin on my eye-lids. A week later, Ive now got scabs healing over, and hardly any brow hair left :( I was there the Saturday before Easter Sunday, so Im guessing their full staff wasnt there because some had taken vacation. I wish they would have just stated so and I could have held off on the wax altogether, rather than setting me up with a brow wax with someone that obviously has no clue what they are doing, and furthermore, actually harms clients. So, Ill be sticking to the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta for that in the future! All in all, I highly recommend this salon, just caution others to be aware of who is performing what service, and if something seems off, speak up and get someone else before its too late!

Do not go to Latish Murphy, she caused my hair to fall out from the Brazilian blowout, and blamed me for not washing the chlorine out of my hair timely from over three months prior to her doing the Brazilian blowout on my hair. Prior to her doing the Brazilian blowout on my hair I had no problems with my hair falling out from the root. The chlorine shes referring to is from over three months prior to her putting the Brazilian blowout in my hair and my hair did not begin to fall out until the very day she put the Brazilian blow out in my hair. She pushed and pushed several times I told her I didnt want it because Id gotten a pravana smoothout four years before and it made my hair fall out. Now the same thing is happening again. She doesnt like to listen to her clients but, the only time she yields even mediocre results is when she listens to her clients. I had to teach Latish what to use and how to use it because she was doing outdated styles, used outdated bottom of the barrel products and thermal tools. she also keeps you waiting far too long before she gets started on your hair. Bottom line, shes not up to par as a professional stylist. If you want quality and top knotch experience in a stylist go somewhere else like she told me to do when I told her my hair was falling out, she didnt care. Also, do your research about the Brazilian blowout Latish is pushing, I wish Id done mine, had I done my research, I would have seen prior, the many complaints online about it causing peoples hair to fall out from the root with the white bulb attached to every strand. Thats exactly what is happening to my hair now, and ever since the very day she went against me telling her I really didnt want it, and put in in my hair.
