They give terrible modems that they surprise you by charging you monthly for, Internet that struggles for breath at busy hours, and dropped connections all over. At the business, we finally got the word from them when we asked them to move the choppy modem that our modem hasnt been working for a while, that explains the past years of shot networks (the symptoms matched). At home, even after buying our own modem (which is leaps and bounds better), service drops, causing a ritual of unplugging and resetting devices. A couple employees are nice, others scoff at you like you know nothing and 9/10 times make it extremely clear that they dont want to be helping you that day. Theyre the only cable provider and town and deserve none of that privilege. You cant even downgrade your service online, you can do only actions that cost you more. You have to call and hope youre not trapped in a 12 month or more committment. Their Internet costs leaps and bounds more than it should and as long as they control it all theres little hope if getting better connection without paying an arm and a leg (almost literally). 16mb down is optimistic even at 3am. Upload speed fluctuated like crazy. Terrible provider. Bare minimum is their motto. The sooner we even get a mediocre second service provider in town the better. Internet speed shouldnt go down over the years and go up in price, its horrible to live with.

I have time warner cable!!!!!! I have been in San Antonio for just over six years and at first they were good, never had an issue with them. Now and for the last 4 years my cable never works, channels wont come up, recordings that i want wont get recorded, random recordings will show up on my list, the cable box is slow, anyone i talk to at the company sucks and cant understand whats going on with my cable, the workers that come out and work on the issue always go to the cable box and replace it thinking thats it, in the last 2 years ive gone through 5 cable boxes. If you are thinking about getting Time Warner Cable DONT DO IT!!!!

Just awful. I am trapped since they are the only high speed Internet provider available. But the equipment is lousy, support is a joke, and costs are unbelievable. Due to this thing with CBS, they cut off my Showtime and only took $7.70 off my bill. To replace it with STARZ, I will have to pay $14.95. And they have the nerve to tell me to blame CBS. Sorry, Time-Warner, you are the service provider and your problems negotiating with your supplier should not fall on me.

Their customer service has always been excellent for me, They generally work quickly and dilligently on any problem that can be fixed remotely. But if there is any issue that has to be addressed by a technician you will be waiting at Least a week. Likely more. If you pay for 70mbps you can expect at best more like 15mbps. Its not the people making this company suck. Its the administration and company at large.

I CANT BELIEVE HOW HORRIBLE THEY TALKED TO ME WHEN I TRIED TO DISCONNECT MY CABLE AND INQUIRE ABOUT KEEPING MY INTERNET, PHONE SERVICES. THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE; BY INTERRUPTING CONSTANTLY, YELLING AT ME, NOT WANTING TO LISTEN ABOUT HOW DISPLEASED I WAS WITH THEIR SERVICES AND TRYING TO MAKE ME HAPPY. NEVER AGAIN WILL I HAVE THEM AS MY SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ANYTHING. ITS A RIPOFF, AND SO NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

I agree with KOOLKRIS. Tried to sell me on their service when I called to cancel and insulted me. Terrible service. They should really rethink switch digital as it basically prevents their own boxes (I had one) from tuning channels. I also had two tivo boxes which it seemed they were intentionally using poor quality tuning adapters for to get customers to pay for their DVRs. I switched to ATT U-verse.

They have to be the worst at service- without internet for 5 days until they would come to my home. Would not help over the weekend. If you need service over the weekend you are out of luck. Do not know how they stay in business. They turned my service off because of "noise" but did not tell me and then acted like it was my problem. Do not use them if at all possible

Standart internet worked fine only for the first year. Then they ask you to upgrade the service, you refuse,..they do it anyway. I got Extreme/ultimate200 which I dont need. Connection drops quite often. After making calls for customer support for the last 2 months I finally disconnected the service.

Terrible. My internet service constantly drops (Im not talking one per week... Im talking multiple times a day, EVERY day). For how much were paying, it should never get this bad. The speed is good when its working, although not as high as it should be according to our plan.

Used to love it, but their prices kept going up and their Internet connection kept slowing down. I continually had to unplug the NetGear box to get the wireless to work. They also just threw the NetGear box and modem in the closet. Didnt even bother to mount it on the wall.

Pathetic service. They never return calls. They came to our business to upgrade us to faster internet service. After they left, we had lost one of our networks, our printer doesnt work and anything hard wired does not work. We cant get them to come back. -10 stars!!
