Do not use this shop. It is privately owned. You dont receive Goodyear quality service here. When I arrived at the tire shop, I spoke with the man at the desk asking what my options were in regards to repairing a tire with a nail in it versus replacing the tire. I explained that I knew very little about tires and would like to know how to buy tires. Without even looking at my tire or asking what kind of car I had or what size tires I needed or offering any education, he promised my tire could be repaired and asked for my keys. Just after 6pm after about 15 minutes of waiting, he yells across the room that the damage to my tire was not repairable and that he would need to replace the tire. Even though I was at a Goodyear tire shop and wanted a Goodyear tire, the only tire he could sell me was a Firestone. Since it was after 6pm all the nearby tire shops were closed, it seemed this was my only option. At the completion of the service, I returned to my car and noticed the fender of my car and the rim was covered with grease and fingerprints. In addition to my vehicle being dirty, the value stem that matched my rims were replaced with a cheap plastic one. I immediately alerted the lady at the desk of my concerns. She was rude and reluctant to ask someone to clean my rim and replace my value stem. The next day I called Chimney Rock Car Care to inquire about exchanging the tire which I am unsatisfied with and to report the poor service I received. I was informed the manager was the only person who could authority exchanges and returns and that he was out of the office and no one knew or could find out when he would be available. I was assured he would return my call. After waiting several days, I called Chimney Rock Car Care again and the manager was still unavailable. I am still waiting to hear from the manager.

One of the mechanics told me that he needed to perform a diagnoses on my car to figure out the problem. He told me that it would take arounnd 2 to 3 hours because there were a few cars ahead of me, this was around 10:30 on a Saturday morning. He informed me that he would give a call back once he figures out the problem. At 4:30 I called to check the status and spoke with the manager, he informed that diagnoses hasnt been done and wont be done until Monday. To make a long story short, the mechanic didnt do what he told me that he was going to do. I get it, he was probably very busy which is understandable. But he lied to the manager and told him that he told me that he wasnt going to be able to do the diagnoses until Monday. Then he tried to get mad because the manager and I comfronted him about the situation. The manager was very helpful and understanding but the mechanic was very unprofessional. I have zero tolerance when it come to customer service, so i will never go there again. Its unfortunate because i live less than a mile away but i would rather drive 20 miles away to get good customer service and professionalism.

Im a 27 yo female who knows nothing about cars besides the basics that my Dad taught me. Since I moved to Houston a year ago, i have been over charged and given poor advice from 2 other shops. I felt terrible when I learned, after the fact, that I had been swindled. When my car broke down recently, my friend sent me here. Chimney Rick Car Care fixed numerous things on my elderly Nissan, and I cannot give them a high enough rating. They deserve something special to show that they are true, honest, quick, and have the best customer service. They did not try to up-sell me on more expensive brands or parts, they did not try to take advantage of me at any point. Shout out to Billy- you are the best! But honestly, every single person that I dealt with there seemed honest and knowledgable. I will come back for any future needs and would encourage anybody to have their car serviced here.

Great experience over all. I brought my BMW in for an oil/fluid change. The owner went over everything with me and got it done quickly and reasonably. No upselling at all. Billy took my call in the morning and was quick and to the point about the info I needed (time, scheduling, costs, etc) so I could get it handled quickly, I got their later than my appointment time right before they were closing but they went ahead and did the work anyway since I had called ahead without a fuss. His wife was working front of house and was helpful, knowledgeable and even helped me out with some advice and price of parts for a friend who wasnt going to get the work done there just to help out.

Ive been taking my partner and my cars here for a year or so, and every time I go, I mean to write a positive review, but always forget. Long story short: theyre great. They go the extra mile to make sure you know exactly whats wrong with your car, and exactly what its going to take to fix it. Theyre willing to work with you to find the cheapest solution to your problem, if thats what you want, or do the super-deluxe version if thats what youre looking for: bottom line, they want to make sure theyre doing what you need and what you want. Ive got literally no complaints about their work, which is something I cant say about any other mechanic Ive ever hired.

Frankly I never gave 5 * sofar to any, But for the first time I gave 5* for these guys as owner (she) is very professional and their technicians/help desk people are excellent. Absolutely the worst service Ive ever received. They try to nickel and dime me for every little test after I asked what was wrong with my car and told me to take it the dealership. I was supposed to get my oil changed tires filled and fluids refilled and Im not sure if they did any of it. The tire light is still on in my car after they said it will turn off after I drove around and after two sprays on my windshield there is no more fluid. I will never go here again and I would ever recommend this place to a friend.

Im a bit new to the area and decided to give Chimney Rock Car Care a chance. Im all about reviews so of course Google helped me on my decision to try these guys out! Very polite and good energy in this place :) everyone was so nice! Only service I got was an oil change but they also let me know what else my car was needing in the future without any pressure of getting it done right away. These gentlemen made me feel comfortable and Ill definitely be back for more service!

Very nice place. I changed my tires couple days ago at some other place and suddenly noises comes from my right front tire. I just stop by Goodyear Chimney Rock location and Jason fixed the problem very quick on Friday evening around 5 pm. It took Onu 10 min. He was very quick. it was on rush hour and it usually takes a while to fix your car. The lady was at the front was very friendly and talkative. Even she did not charge me at all. It was amazing. Thanks again.
