I would give 6 stars if I could! Im a relatively young female, and am intensely skeptical of any mechanic for the rip-off factor, especially in Houston, Tx. The Auto Shop was highly recommended to me by a family member, even though I have an American car (Saturn Ion). SO I gave it a shot. Not only did the owner take the time to explain, in detail, what was and could be happening to my car, but went on to teach me preventative measures to keep the car from having further problems. He SCHOOLED me, I learned so much! And I was not condescended to for not knowing as much as I should about cars. These guys take their time with you, they ACTUALLY care! High quality! I needed new break pads and rotors, and the owner ordered them on the spot and the parts arrived 20 minutes later. The $ is more than fair for the excellent service. Ill definitely be coming back and recommending them to everyone!

I have serviced my 2008 Chevy Silverado here for several years. They changed my battery in the past and I am VERY satisfied with the service here. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest and professional. No bullshit like dealership service! They are cheaper, have more experience and are more reliable in comparison with the nightmare of other service centers I have had the misfortune of dealing with in the past! They are terrific and I trust them! The Auto Shop cares about their service and about you so there is no need to worry with them. Thank you auto shop for your great service!

They ripped me off! I spend a ton of money getting my car fixed and when i got it back the EXACT same things were wrong with it. The mechanic was so dismissive with some of the problems i said i still had with my car. Saying oh i dont know why it does that my car does the same thing. GET A CLUE YOU ARE RUNNING AN AUTO SHOP YOU SHOULD KNOW! I would not recommend them to anyone. Well except for the people who work there. You run a terrible business and karma will catch up to all of you. STOP TAKING PEOPLES MONEY!

I have been a customer of The Auto Shop for years. They are the best at what they do! Trust and honesty is very important. I know I can depend on The Auto Shop to take care of my automotive work. I had tried other mechanics that were closer to my home but unfortunately The Auto Shop had to fix what these other mechanics couldnt. Also they do not try to up-sell and over-charge. If there were more than five stars they would get them. Prices are great, service is the best, and very, very reliable.

My sons BMW had a flat, had to get it towed because we couldnt get one of the lug nuts off as it was severely impacted. Anyway took it to 2 auto shops and they couldnt remove the lug nut. Discount Tire suggested I take it to Chad at The Auto Shop down the street and he removed it in 10 minute! Nice guy, clean shop and affordable. Nice find and they have been in the same location since 1994. They are located in the back of Dr. Gleem Car Wash on 1960.

The Auto Shop was Awesome! I brought my 2001 ford explorer sport trac in there for an engine replacement. They replaced the motor in a few short days and had me on the road again fast. Other companies were going to take a few weeks. The waiting area was very clean and the shop was spotless. The owner Chad was very friendly and professional. Truly one the the best mechanic shops in houston, tx. Thank you Auto Shop! I would Highly Recommend!

My wife took her car in for a radiator flush and transmission fluid change. The wonderful mechanic said no need for a transmission fluid change but did the flush. They are so nice. Prices are reasonable. The car was even washed when she picked it up. I will recommend this auto shop to anyone that asks. Sorry it took a few weeks to write this review

Referred by Discount tire. Called them night before I was coming at 9am. Was informed no appointment necessary service first come first served. Arrived at 850am. Mechanic not show up Had them call mechanic. Claimed in traffic. Left. Poor way to do business I left at 925am. Lost valuable time

I was having a.c problems & brought my car here. Turned out the compressor was no good. They ordered the part ( which took 2 hrs to deliver to the shop) and the mechanic even stayed after hrs to install it for me. They are very kind & are willing to help. Great auto shop experience.

i was sent to this repair shop by Discount Tires and this place is horrible. No Customer Service and had me running around and still did not fix by van. I do not recommend this shop to no one. Discount Tires is currently looking for a new vendor.
