If I could give this shop a zero, I would based on how they treated my wife yesterday. The first time we went there with our new car, we had them service it completely to establish a baseline, which was like $400. Larry (Who was very nice btw) said, "From this point on, each service would be $100. The next time I brought my wifes car to be serviced, I dropped it off, and came back to pick it up, the father said, "Ok, that will be $300, which was three times what I expected to pay, but the father said it was very detailed service, and they had to order new filters and use special german oil etc." I thought a call would have been nice, but I reluctantly paid the money. Yesterday was the last straw. My wife scheduled an appt with Larry, who said try to get he car there before noon the following day, there should be no problem getting her taken care of. My wife showed up at 1PM (admittedly an hr late), and asked if she could do some work on her laptop while she waited for an oil change, as it didnt appear that any other cars were being worked on ahead of her. The father said "No, I will not be rushed, you have to leave" so my wife called an Uber to come pick her up, and was told to come back at 4:30 to pick it up. Six minutes later while waiting for the Uber, the father again very rudely reminded her again she had to leave. 4:30 comes along and she got a ride from a neighbor to come pick it up only to find that it hadnt been touched, which would have been nice to know. The father said "Come pick it up tomorrow, I had to order parts for it" which had not been communicated to us either as we only wanted an oil change so I can only assume we would have been looking at another $3-400 bill, so she took the car and left. Today I called to speak to the Larry (the son) about the treatment of my wife, and the father answered by saying "Hello", like it was his personal number. When I asked to speak to Larry, he said "He isnt here, what car is yours?" I asked when Larry would return, he said "Larry has 3 children and a life outside of work, what do you want?" I said, well since you asked, I wanted to talk to Larry about an incident that happened yesterday, and Im not the kind of guy who hides behind his keyboard, but Im tempted to let others know how my wife was treated yesterday, and I would like to talk about this man to man. What started as a calm conversation heated up quickly, and he then said "Im 73 years old, and if you think you can hurt me by writing a review, go ahead....it wont affect me one bit", and hung up the phone mid sentence. As a thick skinned person, I can take this...but my wife didnt deserved to be spoken to in that way yesterday, and the way he talked to me confirmed any doubt I may have had. She deserved a courtesy call saying it wouldnt be ready when told, and she deserved the right to decide for herself that anything outside of a standard routine service would be added to the ticket. But the tone with which he spoke to her, and now me is beyond my threshold for customer service. This is the first time Ive ever felt compelled to write a review, but if it helps spare one persons wife the torment that this man put mine through, then Ive done a good service. My advice, turn around if the dad is at the counter.

I am a satisfied, multi-year customer of GR Auto Care. I have brought numerous MBs to GR Auto Care over the past 3 years including Mercedes-Benz E-class, S-class and SL models. GRs service has always been very thorough and conscientious, and their technicians go above and beyond to look out for potential issues beyond just the repair at hand. GR is very straightforward in terms of taking time to review needed repairs in advance, and to provide an "after the fact" walk-through of the work done, and inspection of the replaced parts. They use quality parts (not the aftermarket junky parts that you see a lot of shops using, to maximize their profits. They are available on Saturdays (many shops are not open on weekends) and also have accommodated me several times when Ive "dropped in" to the shop with minor questions. GR will give you very honest, personalized service and they do care about customer satisfaction in the "old school" sense of the word. They have built their business over the years the correct way. Furthermore, GR recently built a greatly expanded, modern facility and has expanded their staff.

Absolutely recommend Larry and George to take care of your BMW or Mercedes!! Took my 328i to them to fix a rough idle. I called Larry on a Monday and explained the issue. He then went to my house and picked up my car and took it to the shop to begin the service! That right there is amazing but it was only beginning. After doagnosing the problem, it turned out that some of the issues were normal wear items and some would be covered by my extended warranty. He wound up having to spend way too much time (~3 hours!) having to deal with my extended warranty company and stuck with it through their VERY DIFFICULT customer service people until he finally got them to agree to the claim. He then fixed my vehicle for exactly the price quoted and stuck around very late to wait for me to pick up my car after work!! Larry is THE BEST and I wont trust my vehicle to anybody else!! Its comforting to know that there are still people like this who run their business honestly and openly and put customer satisfaction first. Thanks Larry!

Larry and his dad do all the work on my 2001 MB E320 and my 1995 BMW 318i convertible. GR has been servicing these cars for the past 5 years. I trust their judgement, their work...and their professionalism...with a local hometown flair! Yesterday (SUNDAY) my daughter informed me that her AC was not blowing cold....and she was planning on taking the car to Dallas later THAT DAY...for an extended period of time! I drove the car to fill it up with gas...and on a hope and a prayer drove by GR Auto Care. Much to my delight...Larry was there. He came out...we talked about the issue...Larry said if I left the car for a couple hours he would go ahead and fix the issue! Sure enough...2 hours later...my daughter was on her way. The AC blowing cold!!! Thank you Larry for being there for her...for me...you went above and beyond. Not the first time either! THANKS!

These guys are awesome! My wife locked her keys in her car at a nearby gas station. I stopped at their shop to see if they knew the number for a local tow truck company so that I could get someone to pop the lock for me. They said they could help instead, so they followed me to the gas station and were able to get the vehicle unlocked in a matter of seconds. When I tried to pay, they would not accept payment for the task, and offered me some creative suggestions to keep up with a spare key since I misplaced ours. You dont often find such honest and nice people when you are suddenly in need of some assistance. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone I know with a European automobile.
