We have had World Cinema service ever since I started working at the Courtyard Marriott in Clemson SC. In June 2015, they began to change our current system out with their new system that allowed for Internet TV to also be used like Netflix, Hulu, etc. We have had nothing but problems since that change. The installers were lazy and left half of the new boxes hanging off of the TVs. We have guest issues all the time with loss of signal, no sound, power loss because of the way the installers put cords in, and a month-long delay for Internet TV to be available. Now, when they install a pop up that urges you to watch Internet TV, the Netflix doesnt even work. I would never recommend their service. And hope to be changing our service soon. They also have terrible customer service. I was told that the Netflix would be fixed on November 6 and it is now the 13th with no resolution. Again, avoid this company. They do not aim to please their customers or have any worry that their terrible service causes our guests and employees a ton of grief. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

This company has the worst service. The hotel where I work at, had this installed 2 months ago. I was told by the installers how great it well be, better picture quality, no maintenance, every thing could be taken care of through the server by the company. ALL OF IT NOT TRUE. Right from day one the system did not work right. Installers installed the equipment wrong. Everyday there is a problem. Sound distortion, sometimes missing channels. The boxs installed on the t.v. are brand new, at least a dozen of those boxs had to be replaced. The technicians on the phone expect you trouble shot the system over the phone. I was told this could all be done on the internet. Not true. Their technicians are rude, and one sounds like a moron who cantie his shoe. The hotel manager literally has to yell at them over the phone get any thing done. The guest complain a lot. Causing us to reduce their rate for the night or give them the room free. We are losing money because of this. I hope this company read this. Because you guys suck!!

This company is the only internet provider my apartment complex allows, and let me tell you, it sucks. The first time I needed help with my internet, I called twice and they said the lady that would help me was busy; and she would call me back. She never did. I called again, left a voicemail and complained, and finally I received a call a day or 2 later from what I believe was corporate or something, telling me that they were going to help me fix the issue. They helped me and I thanked them. Now Im having internet problems again. It cut out and it wont reconnect. On their website they claim they provide 24/7 support and the provide a number, so I called and it was the after hours number that had the computer tell me theyd get back to me in the morning. Dont have that on your website if youre not actually providing that service.

I very rarely write a bad review - I just move onto another product or another company. However, World Cinema is the sole provider of internet access to the apartment complex where I live. They have an exclusive contract to do so, meaning I cannot chose anyone else. They take advantage of that fact to deliver sub-par speeds, well below what I pay for. 8 cannot do basic tasks like stream video or Skype with my family. And, the price they charge reflects the fact that they know no one is allowed to compete with them. My request to have my connection improved has literally gone unanswered. I recommend staying as far away from this company as you can. They are, quite frankly, dishonest and disrespectful. I love the place where I live, but my internet connection might literally make me have to move.

Just moved into an apartment complex in College Station to find this is the only provider I can use. They charge $85 for 20mbps, whereas Suddenlink has better customer service, someone to install and ensure service for you, AND 1Gbps for $73. Might move so that I can avoid having to deal with this company. I havent gotten my internet to work yet and their customer service by phone is terrible. Gave 2 stars in hopes that someone will call me back soon to fix the issues Im having.

World Cinema has been in business since before I met the family and owners over 30 years ago. My father used to work there as well and they have never been more than extra ordinary. The most positive, uplifting, beautifully spirited, and influential people I have ever had the honour of knowing. I have known over 32 years. I wouldnt expect less from their services.

Im currently staying at the Home 2 Suits in Homestead Fl. This is a property owner by Hilton. The complex and employees are excellent, however we are now into the 4th day with approximately 1/3 of the TV channels now working. It is my understanding this service is provided by World Cinema Inc. Their service is terrible!

$90/month for 20mbs is bad enough, but when actual download speeds hover at or below 10mbs? Pathetic.

I bet all these reviews are competitors. Great people work here and have all my respect.
