Rented the Uhaul in McKinney and had a pleasant experience doing so. When I returned the truck, I did so after hours at this location. I was charged an additional $50 for going over the mileage, which I did, so I was not upset about that. I was then charged an additional $75 the next day, $50 of which was the same mileage fee and then an additional $15 cleaning fee. The truck was not returned dirty by any stretch of the imagination. It took Uhaul three days to refund my account, but they refused the refund the cleaning fee. I was told that a manager would call me back, but they did not. Three days later I called back and was told the same thing, that a manager would call me back. I told the lady on the phone that I will recommend against Uhaul from this point on and she did not care at all. She told me to go ahead and review the Uhaul at 1 star if thats what I needed to do. Complete unwillingness to correct their mistakes and to make their customers coming back. Will not use again!

Even though there was a trailer on the lot that had the kind of connection I needed for my truck, they insisted that a take a different trailer that had a different type of connector so that I would have to buy a new connector from them so they could run up my cost. (The wiring connectors are in little plastic bags that are on the wall and they grabbed one of them and said I would have to buy it if I wanted to rent a trailer.) They acted like they were out for blood. This was a few years ago, but I have never been back. I drive further to the NW highway Harry Hines location when I need to rent. I like that store a lot better.

Kaleb and Tristan made my rental experience not only easy but pleasant and fun. They went out of their way to see I was taken care of and satisfied. At the end of a long difficult move that left me feeling worn out and grumpy, their humor and wonderful customer service brightened my day. I left feeling happy and thankful. I highly recommend this location and its staff!

I have stored my U BOX at this location for over a year and Dan the manager has been beyond nice! The staff knew me and engaged in conversation when I ever I stopped by. I have also rented a truck and had no problems. I recommend this location. :)

helpful staff just what i needed while driving 1,400 miles with out cruse control. come on U-hal a million dollar company and you dont have cruse control on most of your trucks just my 2 cents.

Eventhough im having to move out, these guys are great. Even the guy that always had attitude with me over the phone. I would give five stars, but because of him i must give four.

We were charged a cleaning fee. We returned it after hours but they cannot provide any type of check in form notifying us of what needed to be cleaned. Seems a bit shady to me.

They charged me $25 extra, when I called in, they said it was fuel charge. I did not understand because I had returned the truck full tank. Watch out for these thieves.

Usually there are only a few works and the lot they have is rather small. The help I received was generally top notch though. Very friendly!
