Short version: My first visit here. I suggest that you Dont give your package to a black lady named ODESSA, she dropped my package on a corner and busted a hole & then made up this story that my package had a hole in it when I gave it to her, which she rotated around to check when I first handed it to her... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Long version: Uh so like I went to this Post office early this morning Sept 6th, 2011. I actually tried to deliver something by the small Eagle Post center down the street, but they couldnt due to the weight of my packages. I was unaware of the existence of this particular post office which they pointed out to me. I went there this Odessa lady was already gabbing away with someone else I didnt mind too much its fun to talk, then my turn came and she (Odessa) gave me the "I dont wanna deal with this UGH" kinda attitude. I had 2 packages to send overseas & just had some questions since its my first time shipping overseas and didnt quite know what to do with all the labels I had printed online. I gave her my labels which were paperclipped and one had a note on it (so I wouldnt forget which label went to what box) she took them then held them in my direction say "I dont need your paper" I didnt think much of it then and just took my note back and told her which label went to what box. She then said "here I dont need your paperclips either" I wasnt quite sure if she was being rude or not but she was not appearing very friendly at all :/. After she put the labels in a plastic hold to put on the box she said "I dont need your senders copy" and not having anything explained to me prior I told her that the other box still has it she gave a big sigh and started to remove the papers and gave me back the senders copy & then she in a somewhat forceful manner put the labels back. Then while doing the second box she said "you know, your other box has only 2 not 3 labels?" I told her that there were 3 and I was sure of it, while she picked up the box she dropped it then setting it down on the table she pulled the labels again and counted 3. She looked kinda hesitant and I could tell something had gone wrong, she then turned the box to me say "did you know your box has a hole in it?" I asked for a new box since there free anyways but instead she just taped it up and quickly put it behind the counter. :/ I didnt want to make a huge fuss, I also didnt feel very worried about it since I bought the insurance on it so if anything happens Ill get it back. But seriously why all the hassle. Just to put some perspective Im and asian/mexican so i look I guess Filipino.

I also had similar experience with this lady. This post iffice is the closest one from my office so I use this place to drop my packages. This lady has attitude issue. I used USPS web site and printed export document for the international package. I supposed to print 4 copies but I brought only 3 documents. I apologize her about my mistake but she is keep bitching about it. It was not a busy hour and no one was waiting for the service. The worst part is that that package took over 2 month to reach to my destination. I dont know if it was because of her but I have a bad feeling. I also saw her serving other customers and she has similar attitude.

I worked with both Horace and another female postal worker, both of whom were very helpful. Odessa, who was complained about in several older posts, was not present. This post office is kind of hidden. It is in Irving on the south end of Lake Carolyn on a small side road with no obvious street sign. You just have to look for the US Post Office blue sign beside the road. There was only one customer in front of me on a Monday at lunch. They had plenty of supplies and were very friendly. It is 5 minutes from my office so I will definitely go back.

There was practically no waiting time during my lunch hour during the weekday and plenty of parking. Debbie helped me get the invitations out for my bridal shower without running them through the machine. She went above and beyond, even putting them in their own box. I plan to go back to this post office to mail my wedding invitations.

Ive been going to this post office since 2005, went again today for the first time in a while. Horace is still there. He is still patient, kind and helpful. Especially since I get confused on my international shipping forms! The line is never more than one or two people long. It is the best hidden gem in the postal service. Thank you!

This is my favorite post office. Its small and nothing fancy, but theres rarely a line, even on busy shipping holidays. The employees have always been super nice and helpful. Im guessing the lady who gave everyone trouble in the past is gone, because Ive got nothing but excellent service from these folks.

This is the anti-Post Office... no/short lines, helpful staff, and when a line did form another person came out to help immediately! If youre looking for a post office in Las Colinas or Irving, and you read this, youll know which is the location you should be driving to right now.

it is good. Its quite and not much happening place. I was sceptical to go here due to previous two reviews. They dont have Brenda here now. I forgot the names but they were good. Took my letters, charged me and he put the letters in a bin. Fast and good enough.

The best USPS Ive ever been to. They helped me every step of the way to ship a package internationally. Ask for Debbie, she was very patient and kind.
