This occurred on Jan 6 2016. Forgot to leave a review. Here is the original post I left on their Facebook page. Our was house got broken into Jan 6. Looks like by an ex employee (current employee at the time of break in) at Gap plumbing company. That was in our home the day before working and came back the next day. Our neighbors in the front had a camera and recorded this employee walk up to our front door with a giant black duffel bag and knocked until he knew no one was home. He cased our house the day before and he knew we didnt have an alarm at the time and went around thru our back sliding door. Got home later my house was a mess and he took only men certain items. He seemed to be only looking for items for himself. Anyways I end up finding the ex con background online that Gap plumbing company hired and failed to do a background check correctly. This guy had so many theft cases and I dont understand why Gap plumbing hired this guy to work in peoples homes!! This guy was going to be fired in the same week by Gap plumbing b/c he was getting complaints being in unwanted rooms when he was supposed to be working. I was debating to write this review but its not fair my insurance paid out and not Gap plumbing. You Hired a criminal with a background which you confirmed to me that the background you did was not correct! This young man had way too many thefts to be let in peoples homes and work! They offered to pay upfront and apologized but once they knew the dollar amount that was actually stolen they backed away real quick. "Advised me they want proof first from the cops"!! But the videos you can tell its him with the same walk and height and body type and face! The day before he was working he was left by himself and you can see him clearly on video casing the house on the outside to the backyard! This guy was not supposed to be no where near my back yard he was there to only fix the sheet rock in the bathroom and re paint! This Gap plumbing took away my self security at home. I cannot stay at home by myself any more. I have an alarm now installed at my home. Whats worse no follow up call from Gap since my insurance paid the claim but not even close to what he stole from us! But its better then nothing and more than Gap Plumbing offered us Zero . They couldnt even pay for any of the items! Not even the cleaning bill and the installation we paid for the alarm. This ex employee (current employee at the time) stole my daughters new IPad I just bought for her bday in December! I worked extra hours to pay for her bday and Christmas items this guy took! Its so funny how I get emails to leave feedback! So here it is, this is my feedback! Enjoy

If I could give 0 stars I would. Call them out for several different reasons. Main one being a leak under the kitchen sink. the tech discovered that my piping under the sink needed to be reorganized. And I saw that the disposer was old, so I ask him to replace it with a new one. The disposer was fine just old and I wanted a new one. I spoke to my husband about it and he said it was fine for me to get a new one. the tech reorganized the piping and put in the new disposer. However he did not fix the leaking. I discover 2 months after that the leaking was still there. I dont use this particular cabinet because of the old wet board. So when my husband and brother went in to finally replace the board we saw it was still leaking. Called back GAP plumbing spoke to the owner/manager, who was so rude and very unprofessional. I doubt he is the owner. I told him I paid 663 for a problem that is still there. He basically told me that the work only has 30 days warranty and even if it was the same leak I still had to pay more to fix it. Told him I was going to file a claim on the company. He Threathen to place a lien on the house. Oh really? Is this how people do business now? Take your money for a service they did not provide? I would never do business with these people and I would never recommend them. They have no integrity or compassion. And worst off, to threathen someone that just supported your business. Shame on you. And I know my rights. You stole my money for a service you did not provide. And that does not sit well with me.

I made an appointment last week to have a plumber come out to my home. I was given a time frame of 2-4. It was after 4 oclock. I just called and was told that they had "been dropping the ball all day". The woman I spoke with admitted that it was her that had made my appointment. She apologized and said she would be sending someone as soon as they finished the job they were working on. I explained that my husband had not take jobs that day so that he could be home for the appointment. When I asked that we receive a discount for the mistake I was told we were already receiving a discount and that they could have made the appointment time frame from 8am-5pm. Very poor customer service. I understand that mistakes are made but they need to be handled better.

A good friend of mine who had done remodeling work in my home recommended Gap Plumbing when I called him for a recommendation when I had a problem with my water heater that had suddenly started leaking. I called Gap and was immediately impressed with the professional way they took care of my concerns and needs and how quickly a technician showed up to diagnose the problem. I have a Sears water heater and replacement parts had to be ordered. There was a question concerning the warranty on the water heater and what was covered and what was not. Gap dealt directly with Sears and worked out all of the details took care of everything. I will definitely call Gap for all of plumbing needs that come up and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

What more could you ask for...not much really. Experienced a plumbing issue in the morning, surfed around and found these guys during lunch. Sent off an late afternoon appointment request via the online system...easy. Knock on the door right in the window Justin and Weston had communicated to me earlier. About 40-45 minutes later, these pros had my system back working. We squared up at the truck and they were on their way to the next job. If youre having a plumbing issue and want straight-forward honest work in a very timely manner...call or visit them online then pat yourself on the back for a choice well-made. Not sure how big the team is, but if you get Justin and Weston, youre in good hands.

Gap Plumbing has worked for me for numerous years. I originally met him when a faulty home warranty company was not paying its contractors and Glen came and fixed our disposal in spite of the home warranty company when others would not. That was about 9 years ago. Since then I have used him on my rental and own homes and recommended him to many friends. Hes honest, reasonable, reliable and friendly. Teri, his office gal is awesome too!
