Transmission in trunk? $500. Thank you. I couldnt get an estimate on rebuilding my 06 Honda civic transmission. He said it just depended on what it needed. I asked for a ballpark figure and he said something like between $500 and $5000. Thats a big range so I asked him how much for just a standard rebuild kit. He wouldnt tell me that either. He said hed have to take out the transmission to see if it even needed that. So I believed him and figured it couldnt be much more than like $2000 for a rebuild on such a common car. I was Wrong. He said $3600 and I freaked out. After trying to figure my best option, I decided to just take my car back and wait or have someone else do it. He said, sure no problem. That will be $496. Cash. Ok. Just put it back in and Ill be on my way. To put it back in? Oh that costs another $400. The $496 cash is just for us to take the transmission out and find what is really wrong. So, I didnt let them get me for that too. I just paid $496 to have them take my car and put the transmission in a box in my trunk... When I arrived to pay the guy I asked him why he wasnt more truthful about the price. He said he couldnt tell me a price because it just depended on what was done. I agree, but I asked very specifically how much for a standard rebuild kit installed on an 06 Honda civic. He said he didnt know. It was closing time and a tech walked inn and so I asked him the same direct question. How much to put in a standard rebuild kit in an 06 Honda civic. He replied, do you just want rings and paper or metal too? How about the one with metal I asked. He said about $400-$600. Ok. How long does it take to put in this kit? About 8 hours. If it is already out of the car. Ok I said. So for $600 and 8 hours labor I can get my transmission rebuilt yes? Yes. About that. It seems kind of odd that the guy that just walked in the door could pop those numbers out of his head so quickly so I asked JB why he couldnt do the same for me. He said because if he told me, then I would make him stick to that price. Imagine that. How he got from maybe $1800 to $3600 that he quoted me is explained by him wanting to modify it to make it better than it came from the factory. Thanks, but No. Maybe I can keep someone else from getting their transmission put in their trunk for $500.

I am a believer that quality customer service will earn and keep customers for life and that is just what Eagle Transmission has done for me. Brought our VW in for a transmission service which was recommended by the dealer at the current mileage. After checking around Eagle offered a more competitive price so we brought it in. They could have just done the work and collected their money instead they were honest about the fact that we didnt need that service for another 20k miles. In addition, we were told by another local business that a loud noise from the wheels/tires while driving was being caused by bent rims and that they needed to be replaced. Luckily we brought it in to Eagle the day BEFORE we almost spent $900 on rims at that local business. Their technician (T I believe it was) drove the car and immediately called my son to tell him about the noise (which of course we knew about) and suggested we have the bearings checked as that could be the cause and not the rims. David the manager of the shop spent time with me on the phone to explain in his experience what he thought could be the cause (bearrings). Well thank goodness I listened because we took it to the dealer the next day and sure enough it was not the rims causing the noise but in fact the bearrings. If the technician had opted not to mention that to us we would have bought rims and still had the noise. They saved us almost $1,000! I am so thankful to David and his team for their honesty and excellent customer service - they have earned a customer for life.

Horrible place to go!!!! I went here becuase of the positive reviews but I can say the good service isnt there anymore! After taking my car to get their "FREE" inspection to check the problem with my transmission, they told me it would take more than their "FREE" inspection to discover the problem. They told me they would have to open up my transmission to look for the actual cause of failure which cost $489 to do so which I didnt like but I agreed for them to do that.... then they called me back to tell me it would take $4,500 to fix! After being upset with that price they lowered the price all the way down to $2.400, which seems to me they were trying to see if they could get the most out of me and take advantage of a new customer making $2,100 more at the beginning of their deal... Seems like they are not honest from the start!!! After I refused to get it repaired for that crazy amount, I decided for them to put it back together and get it fixed else where. To my surprise! They told me it would take another $489 to put it back to together (are you serious it would of cost me $978 for them to take off and put back a broken transmission!!!!!!!)....They didnt want to put it back together without me paying the extra $489 on top of the $489 that I already paid them to take it apart so I called a tow truck Which was $100 and got it towed from there!!! They gave me a box with my transmission in it that was in pieces and left there feeling ripped off, angry, and most of all upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont not do business with these people!!!!!!!!!

I would give no stars if it allowed, had my transmission repaired here in Sept 2015 and have had problems since I picked it up. Have contacted the shop on several occasions with no return phone calls or being told the manager is not available. I was suppose to have a 12 month warranty on the vehicle and they will not even schedule a convenient time for me to drop the vehicle off to honor that warranty. The 2nd and last time I was able to speak with a manager in Oct 2015 I was asked what days I could drop it off , just to be called back and told the only days he has his mechanic available just so happens to be days I explained I could absolutely not do it.. since then I have heard nothing from the manager , and til this day when I call he seems to never be available, and obviously down not know how to pick up a phone and return my calls

My truck had a transfer case leak, so I took it to a shop to have new seals put in and once it was done, I tried to engage my 4 wheel drive and it shift in but wouldnt shift out. So I took it back to the shop and they could not fix it. I had to have it towed to Eagles where David and hes crew looked at and fixed it. I was at a ends with my truck thinking I was going to be out a lot more money, and would have been if it wouldnt have been for David and hes crew. I would have been up creek without a paddle, but thanks to David and hes A1 team. They had me on the road with in hours and not a dime out of my pocket. They fixed the other shops mistake and a couple of other things and told me to have a good day. Thanks for everything David, you and your team is my one stop shop for now on. Wish I would have came here first!
