I purchased my incredibly charming 1929 2-1 Bungalow in 2011 with the assistance of Josh Ramos, Realtor at Property Professionals. Josh had been very patient with me for months on end. He took me to see many houses, but I was being very picky. I knew exactly where I wanted to live in New Braunfels, and at the time, I had a great apartment downtown - so I had no pressure to move until I found exactly what I was looking for. I even told Josh at one point, "look, Im wasting your time - lets take a break, because theres no reason for you to spend all this time on my picky needs." But, he would not accept that offer, and Im glad that he did not. Shortly after that conversation, I received a phone call from Josh. All he said was, "Meet me at [address] tomorrow morning at 10. I found your house." That was pretty much all the discussion. So I showed up at that address the next morning, and Joshs confidence was right on the mark - he found my house. Charming. Aged. And, fit near every single intricate request I was looking for in my first home. AND, it was very close to downtown, a giant selling feature for me. I was in love. Josh quickly helped me getting moving with making an offer, and was great with negotiating with the sellers. His advice during the negotiating process was spot on, especially while (honestly) being very nervous about the home buying process. He introduced me to a lender in town that made all the financials such a painless process - and believe me THAT part made me truly anxious, but in the long run, they took that anxiety and turned it right in to excitement. I wholeheartedly LOVE my home. And, I never would have made it mine, had it not been for Josh Ramos of Property Professionals.

One of the worst experiences Ive had when it comes to Property Management. Firstly, the house we were touring was rented while we were touring it. No big deal, it happens. Secondly, P.P.I. toured a few more homes with us, but they chose to tour it with a few other couples - at the same time. Nothing like staring your competition directly in the eye while you talk to your S.O. about where you hope to put your things. Thirdly, we were informed after-the-fact that renewal was not up to our discretion, but rather the property would be inspected to determine whether we would be provided a renewal option or not. At this point I was fed up, and told them to save their time - we would not be renewing regardless. Fourthly, when touring our home PPI could not turn off the electricity. We moved out 3-weeks ahead of our scheduled move-out date, and on two separate occasions we returned to the vacant house with lights on in multiple rooms. Can anyone explain to me how our last months bill is HIGHER than the previous months when we did not live in the home?? I have an idea, but I know theres nothing they will do about it. Fifthly, all this goes without saying that I havent ONCE been able to get Melanie on the phone, or a response by email, to discuss any of these matters. They ignore emails and use the receptionists as gatekeepers: "Would you like to be transferred to her voicemail box so that you may leave a message and she will call you back?" Thanks but no thanks. All were looking for is a little customer service, and an apology for their unprofessionalism. Id pay double for that.

Criminal. I wish I could give them negative stars. Stay away from this company, especially if you are from out of town trying to relocate. They definitely took advantage of our situation. I sent Tracy Mangold our application package with cashier checks via FedEx for a duplex we were interested in renting. My husband has been driving to San Antonio from Dallas every week for work, and the only day he could look at the property was on his way home to Dallas on Friday. He met with Tracy, walked through the property and realized it was way too small and would not fit our needs. He specifically said it was too small and he would have to speak with me. This was Friday afternoon - they received my application package on Thursday. Their office is closed on Saturday, however I somehow receive an email from Tracy on Saturday saying she is processing our application? We never gave her the go ahead. I email them first thing Monday morning stating we would not be leasing the duplex due to its size. This was not the issue. The issue is somehow my application has magically begun the application process over the weekend and we are out $80 and a fedex overnight fee? WTH? Stay away from this company if you are from out of town and can not afford the luxury of handing them paperwork. Ive emailed Roy Guzman for a follow-up, as well as left a message for the Office Manager Alicia. No returned email or phone call. Thanks for taking my money and doing absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.

My wife and I have had the luck of working with Andrew Wheeler two times in the past couple of years. We moved down to New Braunfels from out of town in 2011 and needed a rent house on short notice and he helped us out very quickly in finding a place to live. Knowing that we werent ready to buy, in 2012, Andrew spent a couple of days with us to start looking at a place to call our home, but it was not until earlier this year when we decided to pull the trigger. After getting to know Andrew and him getting to know me and my family, he understood our taste and needs as a growing family and helped us make decisions in our best interest. After looking for weeks, we settled on a place that would work in the short run, but did not quite suit us long term like we were hoping. He knew that we were settling for a new house and instead of pushing the sale, Andrew found a different house through some connections and asked to meet with us one last time before we offered the first one. He NAILED it! My wife and I fell in love immediately and with 15 minutes began working on the offer! This was our first purchase and he helped us through the process. Could not have asked for a better experience! My mother and father in law will be moving down soon and we will definitely be giving Andrew a call! Thank you so much Andrew!

This place is run by unreliable and rude management that fail to do simple things within their job description such as returning phone calls/emails. Ive placed multiple maintenance requests and have had two problems addressed in the time Ive lived here. Not to mention that regardless of how uncomfortable you are with strangers coming into your home, they continue to send staff into my home while Im at work. My son has been terrified on numerous occasions because the staff do NOT knock, instead they use their key to just come into our home during the day. They claim to be there in pathetic attempt to fix something that I NEVER requested to have fixed then they leave and the thing that was "needing to be fixed" is never mentioned again. Ive asked them repeatedly to refrain from doing this and have found that they do whatever they want. This week I purchased a nanny cam and a pitbull.
