This is for the store located on 9215 Warren Parkway Frisco, TX 75034 I really think the guy wanted the company to pay for a new ipod, please see my story: The 99.00 special was for cars or trucks with no other issues. There were some issues with my totota sequoia, where some rear work was required, at additional cost, ended up at 234.00, ended up using my existing front brakes as they were still at 80%. The rear Brakes were the ones that needed repair. I was shocked at the amount of cost, in addition to the brakes feeling spongy. The second issue is that I have to bring back this car during work hours, losing work time to have them recheck the emergency brakes. I was told by the manager that they would adjust the emergency brakes, they said that they did, however, when I got the car home, I parked on our driveway and the e-brakes did not hold the car with the e-brake pushed all the way down to the floor. I have to bring in tomorrow on December 1st to have them re-check the brakes. Lastly, the issue came up with one of the employees, that lost his ipod in the garage, they called me and asked me if my son had taken the ipod out of the garage. This was very distressful, my son was in tears and I checked every where in the car and on my son, he did not take the mechanics ipod. The worst part is the mechanic called the local Frisco police and in turn, filed a report, giving out my information to the police department. Subsequently, the Celina Police showed up at my door, asking me questions and then asking my son questions. He was in tears the whole time. So, needless to say the service was OK. however, getting accused for stealing was way off base and appears to be a internal issue. There was one mechanic that left early, just before the other mechanic came out and reported his ipod missing. I completely understand that the mechanic is concerned that he lost his ipod, however, we dont even own an ipod and would never take something that belongs to others. There were others in the garage at the time, so I hope they figure it out soon, someones lying, they just need to figure out whom. My son is devastated. So, now that that part is over, I would like to note that I have to bring the car back in on Dec 1st as stated above, so, if I end up with loose wheels, please show this as record, that I am not comfortable taking my car back there or recommending anyone else to take there car there. For the record, the Manager, Byron, was very professional and listened, so the management was great, not so sure about the rest of the mechanics.

Having called ahead and been given a "ball park" price for replacing front disc pads of "Around $100", we took our vehicle in. They later called us and gave us a revised telephone quote of $1,140.00 (!!). They said it wasnt just pads, but we needed to replace rotors, and calipers as well. When we came to pick the vehicle up without any repairs, they tried to get us to stay and told us that we could "get by" without replacing the calipers. They would replace the pads and rotors which would normally be $680, but they could help us out and do us a favor by doing it for only $600. We said "no thanks" and took the vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealer who told us the calipers were just fine and did *not* need any work of any kind. They then gave us a quote of $425 to replace rotors and pads. Dont trust these folks. They will tell you that you need repairs that are not necessary, and will gouge you for the work that they do. Id steer clear of this shop.

I have always taken my car to the dealer for maintenance since they have been great folks to work with and very honest. During my last appointment, they said that the brakes were going to need to be changed soon so I decided to take it here since it was closer to home and figured the price would be better than the dealers. After an inspection they came up with these issues the dealer never even brought up. Managers first response "Well, you know the dealers are never honest about everything" HAH! Really... Was quoted over 1k worth of work that they recommended. Took my car to a another brake and muffler shop, got my brakes done and wound up saving over 100 bucks than what these guys quoted me JUST for the brakes. Im sure they do good work, but save your money and go somewhere else.

Didnt really have any pressing issues with my brakes. I was moving across the country, so had my brakes looked at here before my long drive as a precaution. The guy ended up doing repairs that were close to $800. After the long drive, one of the brakes on the back fell off, and I had to get my car towed for further repairs. After emergency repairs there, now I am seeing further issues that I am still having to address about my brakes system. This is the kind of place that reminds you how important it is to find a good, trustworthy mechanic, so you can avoid places like these. Never going back here or any Just Brakes again! EDIT: I like how their tagline up there says "No one cares more about your safety & satisfaction." Dont think it could be further from the truth in my experience.

I went for a $99 advertised price and got a $850 estimate which included $350 of new drums, and $500 for Caliper Pistons, Calipers, Rotors, and many more, I declined the drum replacement and told them to do the front brakes only, a few minutes later after I had analysed the original quote and the condition of my vehicle, I asked the chief mechanic to prove that the drums needed replacement, he pulled out his measuring instrument and measured the drum thickness, to everybodys "surprise" the thickness was with in manufacturers limits, their response, the measuring instrument is not well calibrated !!!!!!!!, I walked out of there not signing the acceptance of the work form and I am stopping payment on my card until this guys are investigated.

I took advantage of a brake special on my truck. I found the manager Brad to be extremely Professional, Knowledgable, and Helpful. He had just moved to the Spring Creek Store from another Just Brake store. I had been having the work on my cars done at City Garage. I have since been taking my car to Just Brakes. I ended up getting the brakes done on my car as well. They have been extremely fair in their pricing and done great work. I would highly recommend people in Plano try them out. The new management team care and will go the extra mile to provide high quality service.

Bait and switch. There are coupons online but when you arrive, they quote you a much higher cost for a better product. On top of that, I was quoted $162 plus tax for parts and labor. When the final invoice came, they added about $18 for shop supplies. I know they can legally charge a shop supplies fee but they didnt disclose it when i repeatedly asked them if $162 includes everything. In addition, there were NO supplies used on my vehicle.
