We had someone come to our office to set up the phone lines because we were changing to Time Warner. The guy got here @ 8:30 even though we scheduled him between 1-5 because we are busy in the mornings. For the first 3 hours he was walking in and out of our office, he also sat in our waiting room on his phone and he kept saying he was "waiting for a call." Finally around noon he walked in with the new box and "installed" it. He then came up to the front and asked me to connect the new phone, He just stood there while I was trying to figure out how to do his job. I told him I had no idea what I was doing and went back to doing my job. I found it very unprofessional that he asked for me to switch the phones. He only connected 1 of our 5 phones and then left without making sure everything was working properly. He was at our office for more then 5 hours. After he left 2 of our 4 TVs were not working. And we spent the rest of our day figuring out the phones, which obviously took longer because it wasnt our job so we didnt know what we were doing. Then this morning I turned the TV on in the waiting room and 2 hours into the day it randomly went out and said to call Time Warner. I called for assistance and they said that it would work now, it hasnt worked all day so now we have to call for someone to come back and hopefully do the job they were supposed to do the day of installation. We also were supposed to have a 3rd line for patients to call for when the 2 front desk people are on the other lines. We just found out today that the 3rd line was never installed and that patients were telling us somethings wrong with the phones and couldnt reach us. So my boss called customer service to figure out why we were having problems with our phones and the man she talked to was very rude. Very annoying, unprofessional and considering we are a business it has made it difficult to take care of our patients. And the only reason I am giving them a one star is because in order for me to post this they need at least 1 star.

I want to preface this b saying the staff at the location and the store are really nice and solid. This review is all about the service of Time Warner Cable. I have been using TWC for several years, not because they are the best, but because they are the only real choice at this time. Internet Service I have the 300/20 service. When it works it is absolutely great, When it has problems it is a pain in the back side. Working with TWC help desk is like talking to the proverbial wall. They have no clue what they are doing and go by a script that makes little sense. Even if you have completed the steps, they make you do them again, because they refuse to skip anything on their list. The equipment is a joke and full of bugs. If you want your own router, you will jump through hoops. I have to reset it several times a month or the service goes down. TV Service So they decided to force everyone to get a box, even for the basic channels. This is even if you have a new digital tv. They claim that this is for quality, but the boxes they send you are nothing but the basic Cisco digital converters that do nothing that the TV couldnt do, outside of the special setup that forces you to use it. This is really crappy business. Not to mention they add complexity that is not needed.

I used time Warner for almost ten years and after it switched to spectrum, service cost almost doubled. There are no promotional offers for service i use, and the quality of internet connection has gone from really good! To almost nothing. I get almost no internet connection in my house, have to fight with technology and search for little random convection spots in my house in order to get anything. And i have a brand new computer, brand new phone, had techs from best buy and frys on the phone with me trouble shooting any possible thing that could be wrong with computer, phone or modem/ router i bought there, and theres nothing wrong. Ive literally done everything i can to get connection in my house.. i never used to have this problem. every day is a frustration just to get WiFi at home. Even with data cap on AT&T, Id rather deal with that, or even go back to dial up internet, than keep up with this!

If I could give zero stars I totally would. Ive been a TWC - now Spectrum - customer since 2000, so for 17 years. In that time, Ive never missed a payment and put up with their yearly rate hike, call retention, and get a reduced rate again. Well Spectrum it seems could give a rats @^% about how long youve been a customer. My bill for just internet and basic cable jumped from $125 to $165 a month yesterday. So I called in and thought itd be the same old routine. But nope, they would not negotiate at all, one agent literally said "where else are you going to get 300Mbs internet in Round Rock, take it or leave it". Well, I left it. This is the perfect example of why monopolies are so terrible. I went with AT&T but will have to settle for 75Mbs, but my bill is half what is was for the same service. If they havent upped your rate yet when your current TWC contract expires, know that this is what youll get.

Very Unhappy. I have been a Time Warner customer for 10 years. I am moving and need to "transfer" my internet service. Although I am transferring service, they are forcing me to cancel the service and open a new account with Spectrum at my new residence at the higher rate. They are slowly getting rid of all TWC customers. They clearly dont understand the concept of loyalty. I am already paying $50/month for internet service. They said the cost will be $70/month for the same internet service once I move. Serious???? Im not paying $70/month for internet. Although Spectrum is trying to monopolize the market in the Austin area, try looking elsewhere. You will be paying double what others are charging and clearly they have no concept of a loyal customer base.

This is not a company I would recommend. A TECHNICIAN has been out here twice now and I still have no cable/internet. BECAUSE their main cable box is in the neighbors yard that they wont access. I just spent 20 mins on the phone trying to file a complaint with no success. So they have rescheduled it for a third time a week from now.. They Asked me to go over and ask the Neighbor if they could Enter their back yard to hook up my cable... I just moved here, I dont know my neighbors!!! This is the short version. Each technician lied to me saying they would come back that evening and/or there next day.. Again they lied. I had to reschedule AGAIN. NO LOCAL PH. NUMBER either!!!

I have lived at my current location for 21years and Time Warner send sales mailers to me about deals, but when I contact them to try to see if they provide service in my neighborhood, or tried calling, they tell me either no or get snarky when I ask nicely, why have they never tried to provide service in my neighborhood. Yet less than a mile away, they do provide service to a street that was built about 8 years ago. Makes no sense. And so even though I had them as a service provider with I lived at my previous address and the service was good. No I must give them bad reviews as their customer service like most companies these days is terrible!!!
