Have had the worst time getting our mail since our post carrier put in that we moved & did not leave a forwarding address. She did this in Sept. We didnt know until Nov. when we started getting calls of mail being returned stating, *moved & left no forwarding address* I did not even know they could do that without us even knowing. We have lived in the same house since July of 1989. We have never moved. We pick up our mail timely & I have not had a vacation this year so mail has not been left in box for more than a day. The only person that left our residence was our son Robert, but he still uses this address for important mail. We did not get our titles for our cars because of the post office screw up, they were returned to Austin & destroyed. Thanks so much. Our debit/credit bank card doesnt work because bank mail was returned. Bryan & Linda, owners, get none of our bills what-so-ever & we didnt go anywhere. Called post master today, Wilma didnt want to deal with this herself & put me to one of her supervisors which I did not think was to great, Ive been wanting to speak with the top dog thinking they would give a care, she didnt. Supposedly it is fixed but I am still only receiving resident mail. Spoke to supervisors by phone & also in person on 11/5 & 11/26. Still waiting for all my mail to finally get to me, guess we will soon see. No Christmas bonus recommendations are coming from me, that is for sure.

Would give 0 stars if I could. We have lived in Rowlett for 2 years and have always had an issue with this Post Office. Our packages are regularly delivered to the wrong address but are told they cant help me because they claim they delivered it. When they do deliver my packages to my door our route driver likes to put the packages (regardless of weather) long side up dead center on my sidewalk so everyone driving by can clearly see the packages increasing the likelihood of theft. Im not being singled out, the driver does this to every house on our street. Would it really be that difficult to walk another 4 steps and put the package behind a pillar or a plant? Our regular letter mail is frequently delivered to the wrong homes and in turn we receive letters from other homes that dont belong to us. Our latest experience was a certified letter notice left in our mailbox stating we werent home so we would have to come to the post office to pick up. We were home and we saw the driver deliver the mail in the box and just drive off. The driver never even attempted to knock on our door. I have complained numerous times directly to the post master of this office and no action has ever been taken. As you can see with such low reviews, no one at this location pays attention and they dont seem to care. Too bad.

Have been missing quite a bit of mail over the last 3 months. Credit card bills, utility bills, etc. I have to be very diligent as a result to make certain I dont miss any payments. Not to mention the fact that its my personal information that apparently someone else has access to. When trying to contact the post office, the main number will ring about 10 times and then a recording states the machine if off. Hmmm... That pretty much adds insult to injury. Contacted another location to get another number for the Rowlett branch. I left a message for the post master. Was told that person was on "assignment" and that someone else would call me back. Hasnt happened. I might mention that we have a locking mailbox so its not possible that my mail is being stolen. We also receive the wrong mail quite a bit. I always do the right thing and make certain it is sent to the rightful owner. Apparently my mail is being delivered to others who dont extend the same courtesy. So sad. I have to ask the question: How difficult is it to put mail in the proper mailbox?

I have a store on eBay and have shipped thousands of items exclusively via USPS to both US Domestic and World Wide destinations and the service is excellent. Not one shipment has been lost Domestic or International. The people at the Rowlett location are very helpful and friendly and I love and appreciate doing business with them. My wife is Chinese and has shipped quite a bit to China to friends and family and no lost shipments there either. One time she shipped Express and wanted it to get there before the Chinese New Year and the shipment got mis-routed en route and got on a plane to Russia by mistake (not by Rowlett employee, the paperwork was exactly correct) and it was delivered but it was late. Because it WAS guaranteed delivery, we filed a claim and Rowlett postal authorities did cut the check for the full amount we paid for the shipment as promised. FIVE STARS for great long time service here!!

This is the worst post office in the United States. These people act like they are doing you a favor by just delivering your mail to the correct address. HELLO THAT IS YOUR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The mail deliverer (if you can call him that) for my route delivers the mail at his convenience and to other addresses if that pleases him. And if you go into the post office to complain they act as if you are the troublemaker. Someone should tell these postal workers that tampering with the mail is a federal offense and as of today I have not received any mail (not a boxholder or junk mail) in 2 weeks. I waited 25 minutes for a supervisor that never came to speak to me and when I went home to call the post office the telephone number has been busy for the last 30 minutes. What a office full of incompetents. I will be calling the 800 number and filing a formal complaint!

This post office has the worst customer service. If you dont like your job then step aside and let someone who needs a job fill your place. Once it hits 5 they wont even answer a question even if you were in that line before 5. He wouldnt even talk to me when i asked him nicely can i ask you a quick question. I understand closing times and if you dont want to answer a simple yes or no question thats fine but dont be rude about it. I wish i would of got the mans name. They even called the police on an elderly man that wanted to make sure he got all of his mail. He was hesitant because they lied about receiving a package and when he showed proof of delivery they had to go to the back and retrieve it. Another lady had a question about which form is used for signature on a package and his response was "closed means closed i dont have to answer your question".

I agree with the other reviews the service it terrible. They wont even take action against a vehicle that is parked in front of the mailbox and wont even attempt to deliver the mail to your doorstep, lazy to get out of their trucks in my opinion. I approached an agent about the truck and they told me to talk to the violator, thats not my job, Yeah Im going to approach my neighbor and tell him to move his truck, how do you honestly think that will go? In other cities, they place a violation letter in the mailboxes. The city of Rowlett PO is lazy and incompetent. I dont even trust putting my outgoing mail into the mailbox for fear that it wont get picked up, because its happened before.
