I would not recommend this company to anyone! It all started when Johnny came out to our house that we were renting to give an estimate on how much it would cost to move us ½ a mile down the road to our new home that we built. We moved from Houston 7 months ago, and had kept a lot of our things still in boxes and in the garage. After viewing our things, he “over-estimated” that it would take 10 hours, with a 4 man crew, to move us. With that in mind, we decided to rent a truck and move all of our boxes, large pictures, and any smaller items that would take up space and time to move. In total, we moved 3 trips worth of boxes and items to the new house. This way the moving crew could just focus on the furniture and large items and cut down on the time to move, making the move even cheaper for us. Or so we hoped… On the moving day, a 5 man crew showed up instead of 4 and we thought “what a deal!” As they started to wrap the furniture and move things into the truck, we noticed that the pace was rather lacking. Fast forward 4 hours and the truck still wasn’t loaded. Furthermore, one of the guys decided to take a smoke break next to our house which had the doors and windows open. It made the entire house smell like smoke. We also noticed a guy eating and talking on his phone frequently. It took 5 hours before the truck made it to our new home. The carpet protector was not placed on our stairs as promised and items were simply placed in the garage and not in the rooms they originally came from. (our rental house had a very similar footprint). The unloading process was very inefficient and the move took 10 hours in total despite having an extra crew member and us taking 3 loads prior to moving day. Finally, after 3 phone calls, the branch manager agreed to lower our moving cost to 7.5 hours. The loss of time and added stress, however, were obviously not accounted for. Our fire pit was broken for which we were told a claim’s packet would be filed immediately and sent to us. We are now 2.5 weeks post moving day and still have not received this despite emailing and calling the company. We have moved 5 times in 5 years and this was, by far, our worst move yet. The lack of professionalism and efficiency was apparent throughout the move and made what is usually a stressful day that much more stressful. Please don’t make the same mistake we did and be wowed with Johnny’s sales pitch.

I dont recommend this place AT ALL. They have the worst customer service. My mom recently needed there help moving and her estimated price for her little bit of furniture was $350-450 which she was okay with. The guys showed up and took there sweet time loading everything. Took smoke breaks and wrapped EVERYTHING even pillows. Which she had already boxed everything. They also wrapped her box spring. They were both incredibly rude. They took 3 1/2 hours to load up everything. And finally went to the place to unload. Still take their sweet time getting there and unloading everything. My mom had cleaned out her cats litter box (because shes a clean freak) so it was super clean. When it got to the apartments there was pee in the litter box! PEE! One of the workers PEED in the litter box my mom just cleaned. So it came down to the last two items to unload and they had my mom sign the papers to finalize it and they said the total would be $1,350!!!! My mom doesnt have that kind of money and it was only supposed to be $350-450 my mom refused to sign it and they shut the moving truck with the last of her things in it and said they wont unload until she agrees with the $1,350 so she called customer service and they said she HAD to pay or the rest of the stuff goes with them. So she had to sign over $1350!! Money she didnt have! DONT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING COMPANY! they are rude and disrespectful!

I was actually going to use All My Sons moving. Robert Springer came over to our house, gave us an estimate... which was just too high and out of our budget. However we still wanted to use their company because they were well known and we felt we could trust them with out possessions, especially because we have an antique, vintage baby grand piano. In reviewing the quote, we realized that we could drastically reduce the cost of the move if we only used them for loading and unloading the truck, and we drive a uhaul ourselves. Robert said this was a possibility, though we could tell he was disappointed. He said he would check with their office in Dallas (moving from San Antonio to Dallas) and get back to us late that afternoon. He never called or emailed us back. I tried following up with him the next day by email and still no response. It feels like because we werent going to do the full move with them, just the labor portion (which he confirmed they could do) that we were no longer worth their time... they dont need our business. Since then weve gotten two other quotes from professional moving companies (both qualified to move a baby grand piano as well) that are at least $1000 less than what All My Sons wanted to charge. Overpriced and poor customer service.

Choosing this All my sons was a HUGE mistake! An employee was sent out to my home for an estimate and once we did the walk through my home I was given a very high estimate to begin with but was told that they always estimate high so there arent any surprises at the end. This man assured me I would not go over estimate and if anything I would fall under the estimate because most of my things were already packed and I already had most of my own packing materials. Long story short on move Day the movers were very late, they left large boxes and plastic laying on the grass after they left for ME to clean up, they damaged some of my items for which I will be contacting office about but Im dreading since Ive already had to dealings with them because they called me to so that I could pay my final payment and once payment was made the employee called me back 10 minsatee to charge me again for what he says was an error that he didnt charge me enough the first time putting me OVER what the initial estimate! What a nightmare!!! DO NOT USE this company there are so many other companys out there. I WOULD NOT recommend!!! By the way the ONLY reason I gave them 1 star is because I couldnt post my review unless I did.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!! I was promised the cream of the crop and got the polar opposite. One of the workers moved my sons dresser from upstairs on a dolly without strapping it. From the first step of 24, the dresser came tumbling down damaging the wall to the tune of $1,500 and a completely destroyed dresser. I have not been compensated for either! Because we closed on the house that week, I had to take a broken dresser with me to my new home over 400 miles away. The crew manager got into an argument with both my husband and I about how slow they were at packing and blamed me. Stating that they were only there to move things, when clearly it states two men were there to pack and two were there to load. ON TOP OF ALL OF THE ABOVE, the same crew member that dropped the dresser, was caught by the POD professional smoking on the side of my POD and leaving cigarette buds all over my property along side of my POD!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!! I have yet to see or hear from a manager after several attempts to have this matter resolved. DO NOT USE THEM!!! You will be disappointed.
