LIES, LIES, LIES PACO... Took my car in using a $79.00 brake change - per axle "coupon". Just Brakes provided a FREE ESTIMATE w/ coupon and said theyd call to let me know the exact price after the estimate to confirm, to begin working on it. Just Brakes called back after 1 hour to inform me that the price of repair would be $564.68, the least they would take was "$499.00". Due to replacing calibers, both wheel cylinders due to leakage and to replace all brake pads/shoes and drums for both alxes, and to flush the system. Said it would be a safety hazard to pick up my car even. I asked for them to not go any further and I would like to pick up my vehicle right away due to a need for a 2nd opinion before I can pay that sort of money for a brake replacement, Just Brakes continued to let me know it was a safety hazard driving my car out of there, saying theyve had costumers say the same thing and as the costumer was pulling out of their garage the brakes stopped working... I contacted a tow truck that picked up my car, for free. (Contact your insurance) I went to a family mechanic, where I was told I simply needed the front brakes replaced and back drums probably cleaned but not replaced immediately.. He did it for $60 bucks, and says hell adjust and clean it up for FREE.. and if needed to be replaced itll be another $40 bucks.. BEWARE: My Mechanic said the Calibers did not have to be replaced, back wheel cyclinders were not leaking.

If you are considering a place to have your brakes done please do not come here. They quoted me a price over the phone of about $120. After and hour and a half past of this guy coming in and out of the service department showing me various parts of "my" brakes the final price was just a lil under $1000. I told them to put my car back together so I can go. He then said that of if you cant afford the price we have a finance company that you can apply with. WTH really! One of the most outrageous things I remember him saying is that my rotors were put on the wrong side of my car. Simply put I had 2 left rotors on my car. I verified with the dealership and they ensured me that this was a bunch of bull. The rotors for my car are made for both sides and they were not backwards or anything. I took a look at the invoice and they had labor priced at over $500 for this job. I had no Idea that I had taken my car to such a scam of a place! Oh and I almost forgot, I take my car in to the dealership for regular maintenance and they always check fluids and so on. I cant remember which fluid it was but this jerk tried to show me so fluid that he claimed came from "my car" stating that it needed to be changed ASAP. I know that this place has some good reviews but its not worth it to risk being that person that they try to take advantage of please go elsewhere.

I would give it zero stars but thats not possible on here. I took my truck there to get an oil change and the brakes checked. I was quoted $814 for a brake job on a 1996 Nissan pick up, 1/3 of the value of my truck. They wanted to replace my front rotors, calipers, pads and brake hardware. Rear shoes and brake hardware. I told them to put everything back on and drove it to a friend of a friends shop and they said my brakes were fine, a little squeak but ok. My pads/shoes and rotors had plenty of life left on them. These guys are looking to get over on people and I wouldnt trust them as far as I can throw them. DO NOT GO HERE. TURN AROUND. Seriously. UPDATE 2/28/14 I ended taking my truck to a guy my coworker told me about. He didnt have a fancy shop but he got it in for a check and he said I did not need brakes. I repeat, I did not need brakes. No calipers needed to be replaced, my boots werent worn and the pads and shoes had plenty of life left on them. My rotors were fine. These guys are just trying to get money out of you. Ive been driving around for a week and Ive had zero brake issues.

I absolutely loved the service yesterday. Harry, store manager, was very helpful and explained everything in great detail in a way that made it easy for me to understand what maintenance and work needed to be done to my truck. Both Harry and technician (Taco, funny name!) walked me around my truck, explained and show me what I should be taken care of and in what time frame before it was too late and more costly. Though I was not able to do all the services recommended at this time, I will most definitely go back to see these two gentlemen to take care of my truck’s needs. It saddens me that these guys were working on a Sunday instead of being with their families. Especially since other businesses around them are closed with exception of the fast food chains. They deserve a holiday pay for being open on a Sunday!

I called the day before to get an appointment for 9am. When I showed up, I was told that they didnt have me down for an appointment, but would get me in. I waited an hour, before they looked at my car and told me what they thought should be done. When I asked how much longer, I was told by noon. I was never told anything else, and I waited until about 12:45, then explained that I had things to do. The supervisor there seemed indifferent, and began making excuses that they were short handed and were waiting on parts. I talked to someone else there that had been waiting for hours, he told me the same story. He was told he had an appointment, got there, and was told he didnt have one. He was only getting pads and shoes put on a very common pickup. He was there over four hours! Obviously very poor management.

Got my work done quick, efficiently. They set proper expectations for how long it would take to get my pontiac vibes adjustor clip in. And they even sold me on some additional preventative and quality work which i am SOO glad i agreed to get. Not bad price for the awesomeness my car is braking now. Over all good job. Left my car clean and my brakes are unbelievably responsive now. Thank you just brakes. Mike and Andy and Miller.

Sneaky people....dont go there. They charged me $23 in shop supplies. I called them and they said oh yeah, that was for rags. What? Are you kidding me? The price they quote you over the phone and what they end up charging you are two different amounts.
