I am writing about the issue I had with my 2011 Jetta TDI. I had it towed to Christian Brothers on 8/17/2014 due to gas in the diesel. On 8/18/2014 I was told by Schuyler Lawrence that the vehicle was ready to be picked up after the repair guy emptied the fuel tank, flushed fuel lines and replaced fuel filter. After driving it to TJC the vehicle slowed down (limp mode) and after calling Schuyler was told to return it to Christian Brothers Auto. Later that evening he told me that he was waiting on the IT guy to come the next day to correct the VW software. The next morning I stopped by Christian Brothers and was informed that a cable was needed not that an IT guy was going to be there. After a discussion with you, I felt unsure about Christian Brothers Auto ability to complete the order and planed to take it to VW. VW was unable to complete a diagnosis for a few days so I brought the vehicle to Robertson Automotive. Robertson Automotive diagnosed the VW and agreed with the code P0087 that you stated. Stating that a fuel pump was failing to provide enough fuel causing it to go into limp mode. At that point Robertson Automotive was honest enough to inform me that the fuel pumps should be covered under warranty by VW and that I should take the vehicle to them. After diagnosing the problem at VW, their technician found that on one of the two low pressure fuel pumps that the fuel lines was switched, the electric clip was broken and fuel was being pumped under the back seat. This was very upsetting because: The repair guy at Christian Brothers Automotive is inadequate to preform the repairs and after knowing an issue was there after he preformed a repair on that system, he did not go back to check his work. This simple task could have saved time, money and aggravation. Christian Brothers Automotive cause me time and money to get their inadequate repair fixed. Christian Brothers Automotive put my familys safety in jeopardy. A spark from the broken clip could have caused a fire. Christian Brothers Automotive was not honest and presented a look of just wanting more money to fix the problem that they made. On 8/20/2014 Schuyler Lawrence obviously felt that Christian Brothers Automotive was inadequate and created the switched fuel lines and paid the $115 that VW charged to correct the issue that Christian Brothers Automotive created. At this time Schuyler Lawrence stated that he would not reimburse me for the diagnosis preformed by Robertson Automotive because they found the same code. He fails to understand that Robertson Automotive was honest and informed me that the fuel pump system is covered by the VW warranty. I feel that Christian Brothers Automotive created the issue with the crossed fuel lines, broken clip and making the vehicle unsafe and smelling of diesel fuel. Ray Bockover

Dropped vehicle off at 7am for oil change tire rotate and new wiper blades, which they charged me 65.00 for a 2014 silverado. After researching a few minutes at home I found them for 25 on various auto websites was told it was going to be an hour and done, sure of course why not its a simple oil change etc...well at 3 pm was told it was ready, incompetence doesnt breed new business as mine will go elsewhere, dont waste your time with these people, they are over priced lying rip offs, who will jack the price up on you, I had better service at Walmart sadly.

I have been using Christian Brothers Automotive almost since they opened in Tyler. I love them. Pricing is good, facility is clean and the people that work there are great... friendly....knowledgeable....just really easy to do business with. I recommend them to friends, co-workers and even a couple of strangers that asked if I knew of a reliable honest auto repair shop. If you have not used them and you have a car in need of a repair, it would be to your advantage to give them a call.

Had a great experience at Christian Brothers they were very friendly from the moment I walked in. They were very concerned about what brought me in and my time frame in getting it fixed. First time I have ever felt that an auto repair shop cared about more than the money. They did not try to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge or overcharge me, its great to have a repair shop you trust! Had my car back to me in less time than they quoted!! Highly recommend!!

I visited Christian Brothers Automotive today, for the first time, and I must say I was very impressed with the service. The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgable. The waiting room is comfortable, more like a home living room than an auto service center. The work on my vehicle was done promptly, in the timeframe they promised. I will definitely return for future service, and recommend Christian Brothers to my family and friends!

Have had work done before. Was great. Second go around I took a company vehicle in to get new front breaks, vehicle inspected & new windshield wipers. Price was reasonable. They says they would also run a free diagnostic on vehicle fur free. At no time was I told if I dont do the additional work I would have to pay 52 and some change. I questioned it and it was reduced to $12.00. I paid the bill but I will not ever be back.

Just as any other shop you go to it will be pricey depending on whats wrong. Although this shop is awesome they are very nice and are willing to teach you rather than just do the work and send you away. They are going to make sure you understand whats wrong and why it needs fixing. I really feel they are honest as apposed to other shops. I know for me I left there with a good running car and thats what matters the most.

I can say Im very pleased with the service. My car got put in the shop on Monday and everyday they called to update me on everything that was going on and what they were gonna do to fix it and I was able to pick it up today and Sandy (I believe thats her name) was so helpful as well. She had a smile that is contagious and makes you feel at home. Will be back for future work!

After bringing my truck to an early appointment to be aligned I was told they couldnt perform an alignment. My truck and I had been here over an hour.... terrible customer service. They do not know what they can or can do... owner and man that made the appointment dissappear and send out an hourly employee to tell me he is sorry. Terrible business

I will definitely use Christian Brothers again.....they did a good job at a fair price. Being female, sometimes auto shops want to take advantage of a person. But, they did not.....they were very nice and did not take long on my vehicle. They have Christian literature in their waiting area and I appreciate that.

I went in to get my brake light replaced in order to pass my inspection . I had bought one at ORileys and they wouldnt replace it. Christian Brothers used a bulb they had and replaced it for free. I will definitely use them again from now on. Very friendly , quick and fast service.

Place used to be awesome until it was bought out. They fired the mechanics(Terry was the head mechanic and only reason I came) and replaced them with mechanics I would trust to check my tire pressure. Shame, was the only place i used. James and crew will be missed.
