In November of 2016, I traveled the Alaska Highway and took on several large rock chips, a cracked bumper, fog light and windshield damage. I took my car into Abe’s January 24, 2017 after several great reviews. Between this time and March 3rd, I had never once been called or updated on my car status. I had to call for any information. A lightning strike had shorted out their paint booth, pushing work behind. I understand this, but would never have known if I didnt call. As previously stated, I picked up my car on March 3rd. I would have picked it up on the 2nd however, when I was told it was ready for pick-up, I drove the hour to Abe’s and the headlights, taillights, bumpers and body panels weren’t even attached yet, nor had any of the polishing on the body panels. Therefore, I had to turn around, drive another hour and go home, then come back on the 3rd to pick it up. At this time, I began to look over the car. I addressed several flaws and issues, one of them being the headlights. They were not able to be repaired. I had no knowledge of this prior to coming to pick up my car and they had not talked to the insurance company to supplement new headlights. Instead, there was now clear coat peeling from my headlights. Either way, we got them to open a supplement and I took the car home to being told to “Take it home, go over it, find all the mistakes and when the headlights come in, bring it back and we will tackle it all together.” Other problems were as follows: - Large areas of orange peel on all 4 doors. - Random paint burns below the clear. - Swirl marks in hood scoop. - Broken roof trim pieces, no clear surrounding the channels in the roof - Radio antenna not connected to radio after removal for paint. - Door edge guards fell off on the highway the day after. - Exterior window trim has overspray from the base coat on it. - Most of the weather stripping has base coat paint on it and is no longer black. - Fender arches has large areas of paint that are flaking off. - Hood has large paint bubble in front. - Paint repair in rear above tail light was not buffed and repainted… they just threw new paint and clear over the rust. - Under hood heatshield fabric was never reinstalled, hood scoop fasteners are not inserted into the hood scoop underneath. - The radio antenna was not screwed in either, thus causing my rear seats and trunk to fill with rain water. - Front Bumper inserts not painted, side insert is broken. - And finally, a huge eyelash in clear on roof along with destroyed basecoat under clear near said eyelash. I brought it back on April 10th, after I had to call several times to get an update on the headlights so that I could bring it back to them to fix all these issues. I was assured that it would be repaired quickly and correctly, and would be put at the front of the line. I was even told by a member of their staff, after pointing out all the flaws, “Welcome to Maaco.” It has been two weeks and they have yet to start on my car. Every time I call to get an update, I use a different phone. I tend to have better luck calling from numbers that are not mine. In the rare instance that I do get through, I am either put on hold for extended periods of time and then hung up on (today for example,) or I am fed lies from members of the staff. What I mean by lies is that I have called and been told that the car was being worked on, yet when I show up in person several days later, it hadn’t even been started on. Meanwhile, I am without a vehicle because they refuse to pay for a rental stating, “The insurance needs to pay for your rental.” The insurance did pay for a rental the first time I dropped off the car. This is fixing inferior quality work and does not rest on the wallet of the insurance company. Even at that, I didn’t have a rental for the entire time I had the car in for service because it took over a month for them to finish the poor work. I have had a disgusting feeling in my stomach working with this company. I would be happy to update this should the work be completed to standard in a timely manner.

I am so happy to have gone here to get my car fixed! I got into a little fender bender at the beginning of May and finally had a chance to take my car to get fixed. As soon as I for there, the took a look at my car, explained they type of damage and gave me a free quote, which was about 200 dollars less than my insurance quoted me. Based on how nice, professional and knowledgeable they were, I decided to go ahead and get it fixed by them. The repair only took 2½ days to do (initially it was just 1, but the next day, a representative called me and let me know know that it would take a couple more days (which I appreciate because they were being thorough). Finally, I went to pick my car up, and it looks great! They replaced the bumper and repainted it, and included a complementary wash. And the job included a lifetime warranty on the paint. I cant express how appreciative I am to this business. I highly recommend it.

Great service. Brought my car in and they right away helped me. The lady said it would cost $72 an hour! The guy got my car fixed less than a hour and he did a great job. I have continued to visit this body shop and every time I go in they remember me and ready to help me. If I could give more than 3 stars I would.

I love these people. They did an excellent job on my little Kia Soul. My husband used to own a paint & body shop in Austin so I figured he would surely find something wrong with the paint job, but even he was extremely impressed. Added bonus, Kathy (the receptionist) is such a sweetheart.
