I made an appointment for my 2yo son and 4yo daughter to get their self-made haircuts fixed. The wait time wasnt bad (compared to other reviewers here...). Ive gone to Cookie Cutters for every single haircut for both of my kids, and theyve always been great. I felt like they were in a big rush to finish the job. When she said she was done with my sons hair, I actually didnt take her seriously. I thought she was being sarcastic. I awkwardly waited for a little bit... and realized that she was serious. I asked her if we can fade up his sideburns so it wasnt such a dramatic line. She continued to work on his sideburns for another 5 minutes or so and then asked me if it looked okay... And this (see attached pictures) is what we were left with. At that point, I realized this was as good as it was going to get. I didnt want to make a scene or make anybody feel awkward, so I just left and went home and fixed it myself. Do these sideburns look good to anyone? Is this a barbering industry standard? Im still giving 4 out of 5 stars because of my multiple positive experiences at this place. However, if last time was the first encounter... It would be much lower.

I like to think I am a fairly reasonable person. So I will start with the good. I LOVE that they take appointments. We were in and out quickly and the people were really nice. If thats all I had to chalk my experience up to my rating would be 5 stars. Unfortunately I gave them two stars as we are now going on 3 weeks this Saturday that they have not sent me everything we paid for. We took my daughter in for her first haircut. They offer a cute little package that includes a picture, first haircut certificate and a locket of the hair. To my surprise they actually email the photo and certificate, which is fine, if they actually would get you your order within a practical time frame. I have called twice now to find out when I would be receiving my email and each time I am told how busy they have been and how I should have it within a few days. I feel that three weeks is far too long. This is something on their price list. If they do not have the bandwidth to hold their end of the transaction they should not offer it. They have my money; I should have what I paid for. End of story.

Very unimpressed with the girls who work at this location. I went in at 12:30 PM on 7/15/2017, and after standing at the front counter for an awkward amount of time, I initiated the conversation since all three of them were staring at a computer screen and had zero interest in acknowledging me. I then asked if i could get a haircut for my daughter, and one of them asked if I had an appointment? I told them that I did not, and despite their front door saying that walk-ins are welcome, and the fact that there were three hair stylists and only two other kids in the entire building, I was told that there wasnt another opening until 2:45 PM. I am not sure who does the hiring for this location, but they need to find people who actually have a work ethic, because the ones they are paying now are definitely damaging the business. I would have literally taken five minutes to trim my daughters bangs, but they had more pressing matters (social media) to attend to, I guess.

We love Cookie Cutters in Lehi! I got my little boys first haircut there over 4 years ago. I continued to get his hair cut there until we moved to Colorado 2 years ago. After trying several other places in CO, and having major flops at each place, I decided to wait to get haircuts for him and little sister (who is just old enough to need them now too) till we visit family in Utah. We will continue to use them exclusively, as I know they do a great job every time and work very well with my silly action packed kiddos hair.

My 3 year old daughter has always been very sensitive about her hair. She HATES to have it brushed, washed or even touched, but, she LOVED the Cookie Cutter. I cant say enough about their service. For 13.95 she got to sit in a car and watch a movie of her choice while they cut and styled her hair. She was excited to have a sparkle spray and then a balloon, tied to the cookie cutter (genius! it doesnt fly away) and a sucker. The cut is darling and she has even started letting me do more with her hair at home.

I have always cut my sons hair on my own but decided to try out Cookie Cutters so my son could have a fun experience. My son LOVED it! He watched a movie and sat in the fire truck while the barber cut his hair. His haircut was finished QUICKLY and looked AWESOME! The barber was very friendly too! They are kind of pricey.. we paid $15.00 for the cut and the tip. Kind of expensive for a haircut, but in the end, its worth it. I will be going back!

Not impressed with the girls that work there. They werent enthusiastic at all and the energy was really dull for a place thats supposed to get kids excited to get their hair cut.. idk I just wasbt impressed with the atmosphere and the lack of excitement from the stylists. Also they cut my daughters bangs wayyyyy too short. I knew she did as soon as she cut them. I wonder if she knows that hair shrinks up after its dry... Anyway..

My 2 year old son loves this place! The owners are kind, accommodating, and love kids. The facility is always clean, so fun, and kid friendly. I would not think of taking my child anywhere else. Taking your kid here is more like taking them to the park, they have so much fun and dont want to leave when they are done! Even my autistic nephew who does not being in a big public place loves going to get his hair cut here!

Horrible attitudes and they didnt listen to what we asked for. The girl cut our daughters hair all crooked and then to fix it ended up cutting inches extra off! When we went to pay the girl called us up for information and then answered a phone call for over 5minutes while I just stood there. Dont recommend. Go to another location, worth the drive.

My sister brought her two-year old son in to get his hair cut, and everything was going fine until the barberess pulled out the clippers. Trimming the back of his head, she slipped, and decided that in order to cover up her mistake, she would simply shave off two inches from his natural hair line. It looked awful.

Great staff and its really nice that there are TVs with great kid shows to watch. It was a bit crowded though and even though we had a reserved time we still had to wait for a good while. Definitely make a reservation because it looked like if you were a walk in there wouldnt be an opening for quite awhile.

Elizabeth was so sweet and patient with my son. He cried and wiggled around the whole time and she still did an awesome job! I was so impressed! He loved the play area while we waited and the sucker and balloon were fun prizes too. The atmosphere is so perfect for kids; we will definitely be back!
