As far as a customer experience goes, this one was top notch! The facility feels very secure, well lit, and plenty of cameras to monitor the area! Upon signing up they were incredibly helpful and friendly to where I had an all-around good feeling about things. There WAS a brief point where I was concerned about a particular issue with a billing mix-up on my monthly rate. I was worried I might have a fight on my hands as far as getting that resolved. I was wrong! I left a voicemail after hours on the weekend outlining the issue, and THEY made the effort to look into it, THEY made the effort to call me back on Monday morning, THEY recognized the issue, and THEY resolved it instantly!!! That is customer service that you do not find many places!!! I was very impressed and very grateful that they handled things like they did! Small mistakes are bound to happen with any kind of business, and I think its important for customers to be understanding of that. For the staff to have handled the resolution of this in a prompt, and more importantly FAIR manner like they did in this case, speaks volumes about this place in my mind. While I no longer needed storage for the time being, Im quite sure that I will again in the future, and Im absolutely sure that Ill be storing at Highland Self Storage when that day comes!

Great prices, terrible customer service. They forced me to pay a 50 dollar fine for throwing away my mattresses in their dumpster when their receptionist informed me that I could have removed them myself after work. I literally received a phone three hours later stating that I was being charged. On top of that when I made my payment on my unit for this month they informed me that I cant access the facility until I have the fine paid off. I didnt mind taking care of everything but they did not communicate with me what so ever and I feel scammed. Dont tell a grown human being they have time to get something done when youve already charged them.

My first impression was that they were ridiculously priced and the storage units themselves were small compared to their advertised size, ie the 10x10 was NOT actually 10x10. However it was in a good neighborhood and close to my house. I was tricked, it is not safe or secure whatsoever. Had my storage unit broken into and numerous items stolen. Didnt even find out until after I had tried to go there to take an item out only to find a different lock on my unit and had to call them on a weekend. But hey, I got a $20 credit from them so that made the $1000+ loss sting a little less...

Our family has been with Highland Self Storage for nearly two years now. Shortly after we moved into our unit, we needed a second one. About the same time, a remodeling of the office began. If memory serves me correctly, just before the completion of the office remodel, our rates went up. Respectfully, it was their rates and location that got us in. While we could have shopped around, or at least checked to see if they were still as competitive, we did not. They offer a clean, secure, well maintained facility with a friendly, yet professional staff.

Highland storage is probably the best storage facility in the Millcreek area. It is hidden away from the street, the employee who helped me was very friendly (and pleasant on the eyes), and the storage space was clean and easy to access. I really think they are top notch! The only reason I didnt give them five stars is because their prices are not lower than the competitions, they are the same. Thanks Highland storage!

Managers get 5 stars, they were very helpful with a lock problem I was having. He took the time to go down to my unit and get the frozen lock open. I purchased a better lock from them on the spot. They are very nice. Owners get 3 stars....someone needs to tell them to quit raising the prices, they have become very expensive, and if there is another big increase we will leave.

Ive rented space from the company for 7 months. Everything you expect from a storage company: a secure space for your possessions. The only reason I am giving Highland Storage a 3-3.5 star rating because of their decision to raise my monthly rent by +14% without any warning. Overall a good, secure, storage unit with good customer service.

Been using this facility since Oct 2014 and have had nothing but positive experience here. The did a great upgrade last year with improved security, new roof. Office staff is helpful and friendly. Auto billing saves me the effort of going in every month to pay. Cleared of snow quickly after a storm.

I have been renting a unit here for several years. They are under new management now and things are running well. Upgrades have been made to the facility. The staff is extremely helpful and I have been very happy. Prices seem reasonable in comparison with other storage facilities in the area.

Since I have started renting it has been easy with Highland. Prices are better than others. 24/7 access. Although one day I tried really early and I couldnt get in using my code so maybe it was too cold or what, I dont know. Altogether pretty fair.
