I hired MaidPro to do a full scrub down of our house. I have 5 rambunctious kids and they are hard to keep up with. They do their chores each day but they are still developing the skills to really be able to clean. My wife had been out of town for a week and so I wanted to surprise her with a clean home. I had called the online number for MaidPro and spoke to a person by the name of Amanda Resendes. She was very accommodating and seemed to have all the right answers for my questions. We agreed to a price for the first months cleaning which would require a monthly service with a minimum of 2 months and she told me I could use a Groupon for the second months cleaning. I explained I did not want to commit beyond two months because I wanted to see the quality of their service. During the 1st cleaning the two ladies that arrived were late from the time that was committed. This was not huge issue for me but it was not long after they were here that one of the ladies came to get my approval on the upstairs. I was surprised at how quick they were. I went to check on it and realized they were not following the 49 point check list they so proudly sold me on when I called. I had even given Amanda special instructions to clean base boards and wipe finger prints and dirt from the doors and light switches. I was so alarmed by the lack of quality I called Byron the owner and asked if he would like to come out to see the quality of work his people was performing. He seemed disinterested in coming out and basically told me the 49 point check list was not what they followed it was hourly time they are paid for. I felt he had no real concern for whether his people provided good quality work or not, just as long as they were here for the time specified. I found the doors and light switches were not wiped down and the based boards were not cleaned. I also found approximately 10x14 inch section of our mirror that was not cleaned. There was hair still all over the floor of the bathroom and the fixtures were not cleaned well. I spent two hours cleaning after they left. The day before, I went to buy some Tilex because I was embarrassed by the mildew in our shower and wanted to see if I could kill it off before they came to clean. When I went to use it again after they left, I realized they had taken it. The Tilex was not just sitting out they actually had to go through my bathroom cupboard to find it. The fact that Byron the owner didnt show any interest in my concerns and that I received no response to my feedback that he initiated via an email, was even more disappointing. The second go around was better but not by much. There was still a lack of detail in the cleaning and again I received an email requesting feedback. I sent the feedback and now 9 months later I have still never received a response. I wanted to be sure to post a rating because I dont want someone else to not be forewarned.

WORST experience I have ever had with a company! Being 9 months pregnant, due to deliver any day now, I wanted my house cleaned before we welcome our first baby into our home. I scheduled this 4 hour cleaning over a month ago, through Groupon. I received a call the day before telling me they would be there between 11-12. 12:10 came around and no one was there yet. I called the office and "office manager" Denise said she would try to reach them to see where they were. I received a call back at 12:30 saying they were in South Salt Lake and wouldnt be there for another 40 minutes. I told her how upset I was and that I would need to talk to my husband to see if he could change to appointment to accommadate this huge inconvenience. Shortly after, I called her back and told her my husband had rearranged his schedule and that they would need to be there by 1:10, which was the 40 additional minutes I was told. 5 minutes later, I got another call back from Denise, saying they wouldnt be able to make it by that time. I was very frustrated and asked to talk to the manager or someone higher up. She said the owner, Byron was not working that day and he would need to call me back tomorrow. She rescheduled my appointment for the following day (which was this morning between 9-10). The cleaner showed up at 9:27. As I was sitting in my family room during the cleaning, I heard a loud shatter come from the bathroom. I knew exactly what it was as it is the only glass thing I have in the bathroom- a soap dish we just received as a gift last month from Holland. The cleaner never came out to tell me. After an hour, I went in there and sure enough it was my soap dish, shattered, sitting on my bathroom counter. After that I started looking around my house to see what had been done- I could still see dust. My Iphone camera should not be able to show dust through a picture that was taken. My husband took me to work at 12:20 and returned to our house at 12:50 and the cleaner was gone, as well as my broken soap dish. She also left our front door unlocked. I was never told anything broke. I called Byron at 3:00 and explained my frustration towards everything. If you remember I was told numerous times he was going to call me today, but by 3:00 I still hadnt heard from him. Byron did not apologize not even one time. He said he would send me a claim form in the mail and that I could call Groupon to issue me a refund. I was not at all impressed with anything about this company, nor will I ever go here again. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU USING THEM!!! You WILL regret it!!!

STEER CLEAR AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If buying Groupons - make sure you pay attention TO THE FINE PRINT. Maid Pro only honors the first coupon you purchase "as a new customer". Unfortunately I made that mistake - when I called Byron to explain my mistake, he said he would honor it - THANKS! However, this SECOND GROUPON, the lady showed up a day early - told me she would come back the next day - never showed up. I disputed this with Groupon and Groupon reinstated the coupon. I recently emailed Maid Pro to use that second Groupon and after my email and verbally DECLINING my request for service, Maid Pro marked the voucher USED without delivering the service. I have contacted Groupon AGAIN to REFUND my $$ because at this point I have NO TRUST in this business. After reading Darrens post from a month ago, I can see that Byron obviously has no understanding of CUSTOMER SERVICE - only interested in the money. The one time the cleaners did come, one of their cleaners broke a picture frame and did not bother to say anything. It wasnt a big issue because I glued it back together but honest employees should be part of their hiring stipulations. Again referencing Darrens post - looks like they steal too. I changed my original post to one star - since there are too many other offers out there to try. I
