UPDATE: upon arranging our move out of this facility we learn that one of the added benefits of this location is no longer available. We were told that the moving truck that they own would be there for us to use for move in and move out. When we inquire about moving out they let us know that they move the truck to another location and it is no longer available for us. That and the rent going up TWICE without notice was concerning. Steer clear of this wreck of a company. We have not had a positive experience with this location. There is a young lady there who is quite rude. My bank mails checks for through our bill pay and this is the ONLY company that does not "get the checks" on time. They push the automated draft, which I am not comfortable with. She actually told me to call THEIR mail carrier and find out what is wrong with their mail. That is not my responsibility. They admit they have issues like this but then say it my fault. That young lady takes NO responsibility at all and she has a SEVERE lack of customer service skills. If you want to be hounded by people when the mail is a little late (2 days) then rent from CubeSmart... Also...There has been several times we have come to our storage and we could not get to it because other peoples furniture was blocking it. We will NEVER rent storage from a cubesmart again.

They wanted to know if they "wowed" me. They wowed me all right. Charged me $20 for a lock (which is required). Wow! They don`t prorate for the month. In other words, if you pay your bill today and move your stuff out tomorrow, you won`t get Any money refunded. Wow! You can`t access your storage unit past 10pm. Wow! They charge $24 "Administrative Rental Fee", aka "screw you fee", at move-in. Wow! They sneakily charge you an extra $1 every month for an "invoice fee", aka "people wont notice and if they do, they`ll pay it anyway cause it`s only $1" fee. Wow! Another slight pain in the rear is that you have to enter your code every time you go into the building to get to your unit (while holding your cart so it won`t roll down the hill). When your going in and out 20-30 times moving in or out, this gets old extremely quick. I haven`t used many storage facilities before, but my feeling about this one with their fees, hidden charges, and lack of prorating.. is that if your looking for a good shafting, this is the storage for you!

As far as being a good storage place that is convenient to the area, this is a great place. Very clean and well-maintained. However, they will WORRY YOU TO DEATH if you are running a little behind on your bill! Im not talking months behind - I mean a week or so late. Today they called my cell phone and left a message and literally called my home phone within seconds. This is after getting several annoying "friendly reminder" emails. And the TOPPER was when I checked my mail today, ANOTHER friendly reminder in my mailbox! I dont know if their company is in trouble or what but it is very irritating and a little over-aggressive. Other than that, the staff seems friendly enough. Its a shame that the whole experience has to be ruined with this behavior. Corporate probably makes them do it but...

We showed up the day before our check in date to sign the contract and hopefully drop off some of the smaller things we have to store over the next 3-4 months while our new house is built. The girl at the counter seemed annoyed by us because we decided to show up a day early. Im not sure what she was going through that day but she seemed to have an attitude with everything she said to us like we were inconveniencing her in some way. When we got to our storage unit it seemed to be in good shape. There were a few spiderwebs and other insects running around, but nothing serious. Ill have to spray before putting anything else in there. The price seemed reasonable compared to other storage facilities in the area and I like having a climate controlled unit.

This was my first encounter with renting a storage unit. I decided to do Cube Smart due to ratings and word of mouth from other friends. Cheryl was VERY friendly and attentive. She answered all my questions while we waited for the computer to load (the program was being slow and she was the only one there). There were 3 other people who patiently awaited me to finish the process of the rental and Cheryl continued to be very attentive and remained very calm in a stressful situation! I would most certainly recommend Cube Smart to anyone looking for a clean and easily accessible storage unit!! Thank you Cheryl!

I had my items in this storage unit for 3 weeks n told them i was getting my items out 4 days before my next payment was due. I got out all my things the time i said n accidently lock the empty storage bac wit my lock. I called to let them know i move my items n the lock was on n the woman told me 2 come up there to take it off n the next day i did n i could not get in because my pin was not working, they sent me a bill a week later for a extra month. I called them n someone at the desk told me their manager was going to call me Bac n never have i receive a call. Dnt go there.....

Wouldnt go anywhere else! The Bristow location is so convenient and super clean. I was really impressed with my initial experience getting set up with them. The ladies at the front desk are great, they made me feel secure and taken care of. Very knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. The place is in immaculate shape and easy to access/navigate. Im really looking forward to using them for the foreseeable future. Thanks you guys!

Cheryl and the staff at the Bristow, Va Cubesmart have always been friendly and helpful. Especially when it has come to moving from a smaller unit to a bigger one that has newer stuff in it. Its like it multiplies. But they have been very considerate in allowing us a few extra days with our move being so hectic, then having to merge 2 units into one. Theyve been great!

Cheryl and her team are amazing and funny and sooooo helpful!! literally when i say i was in and out in like 5 minutes for my unit and contract it was literally 5 minutes. Easy in and easy out they are wonderful! i would use them over and over again and recommend anyone looking for storage space to use this place! I cant say enough good things about them! I was absolutely amazed with her professionalism and willingness to help. Facility was clean and easy to access as well. I also feel confident my belongings will be secured while in storage.
