Took my car here last year to have the air conditioning fixed. Water was pooling under the floorboard whenever I ran the A/C. ABS told me that the drains built in to my vehicles air conditioning system had become clogged, and they quoted a repair bill of more than $230.00 to fix it, saying that no parts were necessary but that it would take many hours of taking apart the panels of my car to fix it. I agreed to have them do the work at the quoted price. My vehicle was returned, and the A/C ran well... for about a week. After that, same problem. They did not fix it as they claimed. Fast forward to June of 2010. Took my car to a new garage to have the air conditioner fixed. The new garage told me that not only were the drains still clogged as ABS had said, but that they had never been unclogged! Instead it turns out mechanics at ABS drilled a hole into the frame of my car to let all of the air conditioner condensation leak out. Then they filled the hole with a screw, and covered the screw with some sealant. ABS took quite the shortcut, one that it seems was designed to bring me back to their shop. The new garage fixed the problem properly, for half the price ABS charged me. THE PEOPLE AT ABS LIED! THEY CHEATED ME! THEY CLAIMED TO DO HOURS OF AUTO REPAIR WORK WHEN ALL THEY DID WAS DRILL A HOLE! THEY CHARGED ME $230.00 FOR DRILLING A HOLE! ABS advertises themselves as a Christian business that treats their customers with fairness and respect. This is a lie. My experience with them was dreadful. They are the types of people that give decent Christians a bad name! They are dishonest and they screwed me over for a quick buck. I will never take my car here again, and I dont think anyone else in Fairfax should either.

I have only been a customer for one day, but from what I have seen from this shop, I will entrust all of my vehicles to their care. Yesterday, my daughters car was experiencing problems. I called and did not have an appointment, I was told they were booked for the day but would try and squeeze me into their schedule between appointments. The car arrived just before they opened, the car needed a check of a door sensor, a check of the brakes and an oil change. They not only finished it in just over an hour, but also the charge was unbelievably inexpensive. This morning I took my vehicle in for a scheduled appointment, and though it was determined that the work needed was coverable under my dealership warranty, they took the time to determine the exact problem and what needed to be resolved. Though my dealership has proceeded to screw me, and determine the work is not covered under my warranty, I will be bringing the vehicle back to ABS Unlimited so they can do the job correctly by not cutting corners and completing it fairly and reasonably. This is a family owned business who has been in business for many years. They have a top rating for a reason and go above and beyond the call of duty in this industry. I highly recommend you checking them out - I know I will be for years to come!

I have been going to ABS Unlimited for all my automotive needs for about 6 years now. Throughout that entire time the service as always been exceptional and above and beyond expected. Previously I had a car with 220k miles on it. They told me what I actually needed done based on cost and likely longevity of the car. Then I had a separate time where my other car had an engine coil go out while going to an interview. The car was towed to them and they actually drove me to the local rental so I could get on my way without problems. Now I use them for my newer car for regular maintenance. I trust them completely and they are always honest with things. You can not beat this kind of service. As far as cost, they are open to bringing parts in if you can get them for cheaper so Ill do that when I know ahead of time. Otherwise they can take care of things the same day. For instance I dropped my car off the other day and before I even walked home all the way they already called with what needed to be done and an estimate and time for it to be complete. I highly recommend you try them out at least once and see if they suit your needs.

I Took my car there for a bad smell, and i thought it was running rich. Three days went by, and then they told me that they would need more time and money to look at my car and figure out whats wrong with it, i told them no at this point and went to pick my car up, got there and talked to the tech that looked at my car and he told me that they could not read my computer and that my car did not have any o2 sensors on it, and that he would need more time and money to dig in to the problem, i said no thanks, they charge me 100 to tell me nothing about my car at this point i was very angry and paid so i could get my car back, took my car home and found that they never even jacked nor lifted my car up to see if it had o2 sensors on the car, witch i do because i found them all they had to do was look under the car, and found that the bad smell was from haveing no catalytic converters on the car, i took the car to a new shop and they were able to read my computer just fine, this shop is a scam DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!! I am going to the better business Bureau next to report them and every other place i can!!!!

This shop is just the best. They fix your car like they would if it was their own. It gives you a lot of peace of mind to know that your older car is running safe and wont leave you stranded. I probably saved over $1000 compared to what the dealer would charge (head gaskets, plus a new timing belt). They have also helped improve the ride of a hard riding van by helping me select good tires. They were able to diagnose a hard to duplicate noise when I finally captured it on video and sent them the video. They caught a very low engine oil level on a car that had previously never burned oil... in the nick of time. Their thoroughness is very reassuring. Their just like having a top notch mechanic in your family. My newest (used) car was leaking something. somehow the 100 plus point inspection by the dealer missed that little detail. So, after freaking out a little bit, I took it to ABS Unlimited. It turned out not to be a huge problem, but more importantly, they got the car running right. So I feel confident to drive to a new home in another state.

I came across ABS Unlimited Auto Repair when the A/C in my wifes car went out. I trusted all the positive reviews I read online and gave them a call just looking for an initial diagnosis to see how I needed to proceed with repairs. They gave me great advice over the phone up front, and looked at the car the very next day for a very decent price. When I got the call later that day with the diagnosis (A/C compressor, condenser, expansion valve replacement + freon flush and recharge) ABS was very honest about the price and labor hours it would take to finish the repair. Furthermore, I asked if they would still perform a flush and recharge if I did the labor on the parts replacement myself. Without hesitation they said this would be fine, and did not in anyway try to dissuade me from going this route like other shops might. Through their honesty and friendliness, ABS has earned my business for any future car repairs I may need. If you are looking for a place to take your car, do not hesitate to call ABS!
