This place is a life saver.. dont even worry about the other comments about lack of tools or room to play. When you grow up spoiled, thats what you complain about. This place deserves 5 stars across the board. They have all the tools you need if you are willing to take the time to gather what you need. The space is more than adequate given the location. Beyond that, people working on their own stuff will walk up to you and offer advice and guidance. Dont listen to the spoiled rich kid comments and make your way down there to work on your stuff. You will be more than pleased.

This Auto Crafts Skills Center is part of the Army MWR, they have a bunch of bays, lifts, and everything is very reasonably priced. If you are military or DoD and need to do some work on your car in the DC/NOVA area, this is the place for you. You will save a lot of money by doing it yourself and staff and volunteers are very helpful if you need some pointers or an extra set of hands on a project.

Not a bad place, but not awesome, either. Dirty, unorganized, and unlikely to have some of the basic tools. However, they have several 2-post frame lifts, which is nice, and the staff is helpful. You may want to bring your own tools, if you have them.
